Day 21 Progesterone Test Results

Hi,

I have just been to see my gyno in regards to my day 21 blood test results. The receptionist told me my prog was 1.51 and when i spoke to my gyno he said that 'things are starting to happen'???? he is very frustrating as i feel im not getting any answers. From what i have read that level means i have not ovulated? I was almost certain i ovulated last cycle on clomid as i had all the symptons, mucus, really sore abdomen etc. Therefore if i dont have my period by end of next week i have to start on the prog and then clomid tablets again. He did not even increase my dosage from 50mg. Has anyone else had experience with this. I am starting to get really down about it all.

my progesterone levels were 105 on day 21- anyone know if I might be pregnant or even have twins? so confusing and i can't find any info on the net to help.

Ellie, I was day 27 yesterday and my hcg wa 69 and my prog was 89 and I am pregnant. Your progesterone sounds good, what is your hcg????

No idea what the HGC levels are- they only tested progesterone and said it was very very high and that I definitely ovulated- not sure when to do HPT- I'm on day 27 today and maybe a hpt might be accurate- i don't know. maybe too early still?

how long is your cycle. I would of thought they would of tested your hcg.
Maybe POAS and see what the results are

hi shell76,

my progesterone on day 21 last month was only 23. i am told that anything over 20 is ovulating, but 23 is only just. i am on fertility drugs similar to clomid. i was on clomid back in 2007. did 8 months of them actually. i was put up to 100mg on the second month as 50mg was not strong enough.

My cycle is about 30 days long
I have PCOS so it can vary a lot, so even if I miss a period it may not be because I'm pregnant. crazy. Only on 27 th day of my cycle right now- my HPT says I can test 14 days after conception or on the day of my missed period- so I might test tomorrow morning as well as in a week. Don't know which day I ovulated- i was told it should be day nine but I can't be sure as other people ovulate different days. Could have had a blood test i guess but doc just said wait a week and do a HPT. By the looks of some research 90 and over indicated maybe more than one egg was relased- how did the rest of you know you released more than one egg?
