It all depends on age sweetheart. When you are at the younger end of the scale your chances are better than if you were DTD au naturelle.

Am sending you mucho baby dust.

    Hi Danni,

Well as you know we fell pregnant on the 1st stim cycle and I feel so completly blessed. I really hope you get the same result. Being young is definetly an advantage for you. I will be thinking of you and I look forward to hearing some good news from you soon.

Danni I didn't do anything much different except cut out coffee completely(doubt had anything to do with it though).

I definetly was more positive and more relaxed. I think deciding to pass it on to the IVF specialists put a little less pressure on me. It was nice knowing that they were helping me.

I really hope that it does the same for you.

    Love Linda

    Danni,
i got pg. first go, but unfortunatley m/c 8 weeks later. I had acupuncture on the night of my transfer as there is research to say that it relaxes your uterus. I will be trying that again next time. Melbo was another first time up success. I think we have had a few in here.
Just remember the first time is a bit of an experiment to see how the drugs work on your body - so better to go into it with low expectations and hopefully be pleasantly surprised. good luck.

Danni - Anney is right ... I was one of the lucky ones. I will never know for sure if anything I did during that cycle actually helped. My suspicion is that it was just a massive stroke of cosmic luck. I really wish you all the best with your cycle and hope the first one brings you some happy news.

We tried 2xIUI cycles, with no success, but our first IVF cyle was a success. I dont know if my state of nutrition (so to speak) had anything to do with it, but i gave up iced coffee, drank 2litres of water a day, ate lots of fresh vegies, mainly salads with lots of fresh Salmon. I had weetbix every day too! I was also taking ELEVIT which Repromed recommended, and folate too. Good luck, I hope it is your turn next

As you know we are heading toward cycle 6 and with no success. But as you can see there are many who hit the nail first swing...

Another who had success first go though was Carrie - and she now has a beautiful baby girl.

I really have a good feeling about your first go Danni !

We got it first time.... 11 eggs, 8 fertalised, the numbers inevitable drop (prepare for that because it is a freak out) & we ended up with three perfect blasti's (none emerging as better than the other). So we have two in the freezer. I didn't do anything special.... I was working 16 hour days on my feet, eating on the run etc BUT every minute of the day I was visualising holding Hunter in my arms & wishing upon every star I saw Good luck Danni
