    Crinone - brown blood

I have the smallest amount of brown blood comng out mixed with the Crinone, anyone else expereinced this?? It is not fresh blood. Warning TMI - I checked around up there and it seems to be sitting around my cervix.

I have never gotten this far before, so I am soooooooo nervous.

Also did anyone get backache with Crinone?? I have started to get some backache and that usually means AF, but have had it for 3 days and no sign..........

LC, I am by no means an expert on crinone as I have only used it once (one dose, not one cycle, even!) but I did find that when I did, I managed to stab myself with the applicator and draw blood, so don't assume that any blood you find is the start of AF. Your cervix will be quite sensitive at this point and very easily irritated and so will bleed easily... Unfortunately, there's no way to know one way or the other which way this will go except by sitting and waiting. Good luck!

I rang the clinic, they said that it is just old blood coming through, possibly some trauma from the EPU.

I will try and relax a little bit (impossible!!!)

I second BW.. crinone does not bring on or prevent AF but it can cause irritation and some spotting.

    Hi lil chookie,

I am taking (is that the word for it?) crinone as well and have had exactly the same experience - not really blood at all, more brown discolouration on the end of the applicator (is that TMI too?).
I just figured that was due to the EPU - I just had my first one on Saturday.
