Frozen IVF cycle - Info needed

Hi have beautiful twin boys (16 months) that were conceived through IVF. We are now ready to try again and have 3 frozen embryo's

Can anyone give me info on IVF cycle. In particular I am still breastfeeding my boys (morning feed only) do I need to give this up before starting a frozen cycle.

Hi Kelly congrats on the twins FET is a little less of a roller coaster but not by much. My sister did hers on a natural cycle. I have done mine on a stimulated cycle not sue on the breast feeding

Hi Kelly, I'm not sure about the FET thing, I just wanted to pop in and say how fabulous it is that you are still breastfeeding your twins. How lucky they are to have such a wonderful Mummy.

I had this same query when Charlie was 11 months old. I spoke to my FS at the time, and we decided to blood track my following cycle to see if I was ovulating with the view of doing a natural FET. I'd had 2 AFs by then, but irregular lengths. Turned out I was not ovulating, and therefore I couldn't proceed with an FET.

thanks Kris - I am happy and surprised that I have been able to breastfeed the twins for so long. Only dropped the evening feed about a month ago.

Sushee - thanks for your info, I hadn't even thought about ovulating, my period started the day before the boys turned 1 (4/4/07) so I just presumed I would be ovulating.

We are seeing our doctor early Sept so I guess I find out the procedure then, just thought if I have to give up BF then I would before I see him.
