Mon, it's the Rozelle Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Centre. It's on Darling Street - just near the intersection with Victoria Rd. Can take a while to get in, they are usually booked up well in advance, but they are very much worth the wait!

Hi everyone. Just wanted to say to BG i am so sorry. Im thinking of you, its not fair
Rols- thats great that your wife is doing well and her levels are great. When do they think EPU might be??
Sonya, i hope AF arrives nice and soon so you can start your FET asap. It always feels good to know that something is happening!
Ellie, how is the dreaded 2ww going??
Hi to Mon and Smithy and everyone else i have missed. Will have to look back at the last thread!
As for me, well went for another u/s and bloods on Mon. The nurse was CERTAIN id go for collection tomorrow, i didnt get a call til like 4:30. How late is that!!! Anyway, to tell me, to keep going on the bl..dy injections!! So today is day 14 of gonal F. Im bit bloated now. On Mon, i had some pretty big folls on one side- about 19 mm the biggest, the other side still not catching up- about 10 mm. So i guess doc p is waiting to see if they catch up. EPU fri most likely. Im still not optimistic about the whole thing though. I just hope we have one to transfer....
Anyway, hope everyone else is well.

Might have to go on some different shots on top of what im on now. Just have to wait till this arvo for the nurse to call.

Wow, 20 follies is really good mumof5.
Mine were the same, started off small and then they grow quite rapidly (although not all evenly).
From my limited experience, I dont think they like them to get beyond 22 as this may risk OHSS.
The number of follies may also not correlate to the number of eggs collected as some may not be mature enough.
My first scan, I had 10 follies, the next 17 follies, and only 8 eggs were ultimately collected 6 of which fertilised.
Have my fingers crossed for a good result - and hope the u/s wasnt too uncomfortable.

    Good Morning

Mum of 5 - 20 is a fantastic number it sounds as though things are going really well.
Happymel - don't give up yet, that still gives them 3 days to catch up! Fingers Crossed!

Hope everyone is doing really well! I noticed we had a few BFN's and early miscarriages in the TWW thread just wanted to say im thinking of you all and big hugs coming in that direction!

As for us DH and I went and saw our FS this morning, it was really good to actually feel like we are back in the game again! We decided on going to blasty again and the transferring 2 embys. Sticking to all the same dosages, we got 10 eggs last time and she thinks i has OHSS afterwards so she doesn't want to push for anymore this time. Unfortunately we are going to have to go Synarely day 1 - 10 before we start injections day 10. So watch out DH and get ready for the hot flushes! Now we just wait for AF again... we are day 22 in a 35 day cycle so a little while to go yet!

Hey Venus- no the scan was pretty good. I hope i dont get to many more follies cause i still have about 5 or 6 more days of puregon. I have been reading everyone elses stories so i did read some where that even tho they might get 20 follies not every follie will contain an egg or as you said be mature enough. I dont want OHSS or anything to be canceled cause theres too many.
How much longer do you have to wait??
    Take care mate.
Hey Mon hows things? When does everything start for you?
Happymel -im sure everything will be ok,best of luck for friday.

Hi Venus, that's a great fert. rate with 6 from 8. Well done.

Mo5, if it helps I believe they aim to get the follies around the 18-20mm mark, so they be wanting to increase the size of them a little bit yet.

hey all just thought i would let you know
that we got hubbys 3rd SE results back
it still said impaired function and fertility
    but it was slightly better
Morphology was 98% last time and it is now 96%
Motility increased alot from 19% to 51% which is great
total mot conc ( whatever that means-can anyone help?????)
Was 12.2 it is now 72.7
However due to the morphology i am guessing we will need icsi i have appointment monday so will find out then
    Hope everyone is well
    thinking of you all xoxo

Sparkles, same thing with me, the results kept getting better each time.

I did some research on "mot conc" but could only find a few undefined references. This wasn't listed on any of my results.

Based on those results, he's just outside the outer range of normal for morphology (up to 95% abnormal considered normal! - as according to Andrology Australia) so that is good, and he has just snuck in to the normal range for motility. My first motility result was crap but my last was very similar to DH's. Without being an expert in these matters, and hypothetically if mine and his results are very much the same, my FS described this as a mild to moderate problem. The detailed third test recommended IUI or IVF, which seemed to be a reasonable endorsement of my little blokes I thought. But who knows, it may end up being ICSI depending on how things go. The point being, he could be far worse off.

Tell him to stop playing Rugby and play real footy, that'll sort him out

BT results for DW just in. Her levels are rising fast so they're doing an u/s tomorrow and seem to think that it wont be long before the real action kicks off. She's a little soldier DW, all 46kg of her, fast rising levels and no problems whatsoever. She had ovarian type twinges the other night and that has been it. She's a real little champion.

Hi Mumof5, i hope your follicles grow big and strong too, and plenty!! Have fun with the injecting, i think im just about at the end of mine. Have had 15 gonal f injections, and think just my trigger to go, well hoping anyhow!!
Sparkles, thats great that the SA is better than the last. DH has also had good improvement in his, just waiting to see an andrologist now when we move.... Does your DH take any vitamins??
Rols- wow, your wife is a little pocket rocket!!! Thats great things are getting closer and that she hasnt had a lot of symptoms. Will she be on the crinone after EPU, hahah, then she MAY have symptoms. I am NOT looking forward to it... Yukko. From memory, last time the main effects were cramping, and sorry if TMI, constipation!!!! Hehehe, the things we do...
Shannon, lets hope that period hurry's up and you can get on with things!! If, thats a BIG if, we get 2 embryos, we are going to ask to have them both transferred. Im a bit scared to ask because they usually only let one... SHouldnt be getting ahead of myself though, im just crossing my fingers for one....
Hope everyone is having a good night
