Hi all :)
I have been a bit pathetic when it comes to this thread. Sorry! I will try harder from now on - promise!
Kerbear - you are doing amazingly!! Well done!!!
Myturn - congrats on the loss! Keep it going sweetie :)
Minnie - being sick is a good reason not to be on top of exercise. Don't be too hard on yourself. The trick is to get back on the horse next week!
Welcome Trishalicious! I would like to lose about 15 kilos too. Although I really need to lose more :( My immediate goal is five kilos. Hopefully we can help each other out!
Had a mediocre week. Been in pain from AF but now I am trying to start up exercise again. Just did half an hour on Wii fit (better than nothing I guess-it got my heart going and I was sweating!). I will do more later, as well as 30 mins on exercise bike. My aim is to do this everyday (or more) for the next 30 days. According to the scales I have lost 1.5kg...although it tends to fluctuate daily.
hi girls,
well yesterday the scales said i had lost around 800gms this week but today on official weigh day thats down to 400 gms so i wasn't impressed ! guess because i couldn't exercise i can't really be too upset, im on antibiotics now so am improving every day and hope to be back to exercising this week
nothing2lose: thats good you got some exercise in, what else are you planning for the week ?
trishalishous: welcome :hello: i have insulin resistance, what is your plan for losing some kilos ?
for those who are carlorie counting how many are you limiting yourself to a day ? im on 1200
Hi ladies,
I am joining you from the LTTC&AC thread (even though IVF is on hold until the NY)
Went to the FS today & he wants me to lose at least 3 kg from now until the New Year in readiness for another IVF cycle.
Sorry, I haven't gone back through the thread properly to see what everyone is hoping to achieve based on goals etc... but I'll get the gist from future postings from you all.
So, first goal is to lose 3 kg, which I know I can do in a short time, prior to Xmas. I actually want to try to lose that by the 18th December or earlier. Then by the New Year I want to have lost 6 kgs / a dress size and by the time we start IVF (tipping middle of January), 10 kgs.
I'll continue going to the Personal Trainer twice a week and Yoga once a week but will need to amp up the exercise at home, which I have DVDs available plus some basic gym equipment. So I don't burn myself out, I'll do 30 mins to an hour at home.
Diet plan will loosely be 1200-1500 kgs, based on the Michelle Bridges diet that I lost weight on as well as I picked up some PCOS/ Low GI cookbooks from the library.
Looking forward to this weight loss journey with you all
Welcome Rhi!
Sounds very doable to me :)
Well, I have done 47 mins on Wii fit today. Will also try for 30 mins on exercise bike.
My goal is to do it every day this week. And, of course, watch what I eat!
Thanks n2l. I nearly bawled my eyes out at the Personal Trainer tonight b/c I feel so much pressure to get this weight off - it's like the FS is hanging this over my head. I know weight loss will definately help ttc but it seems like yet another thing to do.... Anyway woe is me & am back to meal planning too now - that seemed to keep me on track.
Sounds like you have a good, acheiveable plan Rhi. I am lucky, I've never had the FS say anything about my weight - obviously I have told him I've been working on losing weight, and I did tell him I'd lost 8 kg this year - but he never asks, and he never says anything - as I am 109kg atm, I definitely fall into the category of 'losing weight is essential'. I guess I'm lucky (or maybe he's just ignoring it.... and it's more of a factor than I am owning up to myself).
I also do PT twice a week, but do need to get back into doing other classes - at the moment I'm doing a half hour 'blitz' class on the same night as I go to PT - so I too need to get back into more exercise.
I have started back on monday morning exercise bike - and feel good that it is the first thing I think of in the morning - but not in a negative way - even if i don't feel like it, I am managing to tell myself that it is now a routine, and I just have to get up and do it - 5 minutes only - and if it;'s more then.. great ;-) It seems to be working well.
DH got back from overseas on the weekend, so I am hoping he will get back on the bandwagon (we were doing so well before we got married - but have been a bit slack since then :p )
Good job N2L - I'm impressed with your enthusiasim for the home exercise - I just can't be bothered when I'm at home!
How's everyone else going???
maybe we could share some quick/easy/tasty recipies while we are here???
Did a ps3 workout tonight, and had swimming this morning, so feeling good. actually below my calorie limit for a change!
Hi all just thought I would checkin and see how everyone is doing?
I have been doing well, lost 6.6kgs in the last 4 weeks which has made my specialist pretty happy.
Had app this week with her about starting ivf and my test results, finally may have got the answer so we aren't unexplained anymore, it appears my hormone levels for producing eggs is very low, told that I don't have time to wait and need to start ivf, so January it is. So trying to lose as much weight as I can between now and then.
I have been keeping myself distracted with my 2 new kittens, they are brothers and are so full of beans and cuddly, it's nice when hubby is on nights :-)
Would love to hear how everyone else is doing.
Wondering if I can join? I would love to lose 30kg (I'm in the triple figures and it scares me!). I've been TTC 7 months (so not sure what that qualifies as) and my weight is becoming an issue on all fronts. I don't want to go out because I'm overweight, I don't want to DTD (which makes for very awkward TTC) because I'm ashamed and it's getting harder to catch DS when he pulls a runner.
I make bad food choices and average about 5-6 hours of sleep a night so I need to implement a decent bedtime and diet, I'm very guilty of letting DH set the pace and unfortunately he can eat what he wants and not gain weight. I need to find exercise I can do at home as even walking is too stressful (I have to have DS and DD1 in the pram who try to escape and tandem wear DD2 and DD3). I'm just at a loss of where to start as I have very full days with DS' therapies 6 days of the week and my DDs have hit the very terrible 2's.
I think I might eliminate soft drink, chocolate and fast food then go from there, changing my diet and slowly adding exercise. Once I lose 15kg I'm going to reward myself with my next tattoo I think :)
Welcome :-) i have to admit I have done all of mine with no excercise which I know I should do but I find it hard until I get a good routine and working away and odd hours doesn't help.
I found the app that myturn suggested on my iPhone has been a godsend, it is - shapeupclub. I put in my food info then just pick what I each everyday when I get a chance at night.
Hope this helps a bit :-)
Im down another 2.5kg, but then had hungry jacks for lunch, and icecream and potato chips this arvo at our xmas party.
Back to being good tomorrow, 13 kg to go for my midterm goal
That's great news trishalicuous, we all have blowouts i think but you seem focused to go back on track.
I have not been so good the last 2 days as I am working interstate but I feel awful because of it so I know I will get back on track wed after I get home.
Sorry I haven't been checking in - been so busy getting organised for Xmas as well as my sisters wedding in January. I lost 500g last week but from late last week & over this weekend have been doing no exercise and eating anything & everything in sight, so not sure how I will go weighing in on Wednesday.
I'll try to pop back more often x
So today I bought an exercise bike from the op shop ($8 score!) so will give it a whirl tonight (even though it's still 29 deg *cries*).
Been a bit naughty with food but am very proud that I didn't let DH buy softdrink today :)
My DH has been trying to lose weight since our last trip back to the states (he always overdoes it :duh: whenever we go) I found the 'my fitness pal' app for him. Not sure if it's been mentioned in the thread yet, it's free and really great for if you have an iphone (not sure about other smartphones), they have a website too, but it's really handy to have it on the phone with you all the time. I've been using it as well, mainly to track my nutritional intake vs. my calories. It can also credit you for activity that you do, like cooking and cleaning or walking.
Sadly I was over, way over last night :( DH wanted to go to pancake manor after ballet, now I'm going to have to do a lot of cleaning and gardening today since I only do ballet once a week and that's pretty much my only exercise. I was lucky to find a studio that does classes just for adults, and takes all skill levels. Love it! Makes it more as something fun to do than exercise.
Okay I'm needing motivation tonight! Totally need to do more and start this year off new. DH got me a heart rate monitor for Christmas which was greatly appreciated but he's gone back to work yesterday and all I want to do is sit on the couch and read. I need to do more! I have to get into a routine! So will someone please luck me up the butt!!!
Oh myturn I am hearing you, I to am trying to get myself back into a routine, I am running out of time to lose what I wanted before I start my ivf cycle so trying to kick myself up the but to. Maybe we can check in here each day and support each other to focus each day till we get on track better.
That was a very sweet present from DH he obviously wants to help where he can.
Keep the positive energy going :-)
Hi ladies,
I'm a LTTTC'er and would love to jump on for some weight loss motivation if that's ok :D
I've been doing weight watchers online for about 6 weeks and I feel like I've lost a little bit. I have to admit though, I haven't been brave enough to get on the scales! I just lose weight so slowly that I don't want to get discouraged. I need to lose at least 12kg. If this and next IUI cycles are not successful, I have an appt with a different FS in early Feb to discuss the "next step", probably IFV. I've heard that he can be pretty brutal if you're overweight (eek!). So I'd really like to lose as much as I can by then - for the appointment and myself.
myturn- if you like to read, is there any exercise you can do while reading? Ex bike etc? I've been taping shows off foxtel, then not letting myself watch them unless I'm on the treadmill. Gotta be cruel to be kind
kerbear - when will you start your next IVF cycle? What's your weight loss timeline?
Also, I was wondering - What sort of exercise does everyone else do during the 2ww? I jog (a little) during the first half of my cycle but am too scared to do anything but walking during the 2ww.
Cheering you all on for some weight loss success! :cheer:
Hi Mich,
you are welcome to join us :) I hope we can support you with your journey. I have done the reading thing while on the exercise bike - but ATM bike is in storage because we are renovating. I know I just need to 'do it' but I can't seem to find the motivation - Oh i have just heard michelle bridges in my head saying "there is no such thing as finding motivation" I read some article on facebook that she wrote and it was interesting to read that she doesn't enjoy exercise either - hmmm.... feeling some interest in getting on my bike and riding down to the shops to drop off the blue ray discs... maybe I'll do that after Dr Phil finishes :)
instead of weight watchers how about just counting calories? It's much more accurate and after a while you'll start to understand portion sizes all on your own instead of needing a multinational company to do it for you !
I've been using my fitness pal for over a year. Some days (ok xmas to new years week!) are harder than others but it really does help you understand exactly how efficient the human body is. It really doens't need all that much food!!
As for motivation. bleh. I hear ya. I tried to go out for a walk last night while hubby watched the news (they never report anything important so I've gotten bored with watching it) but the cat curled up on me for once. So this morning I got the unpowered mower out that my MIL let me borrow and did the front lawn then did some weeding.
myturn, rather than hopping on the bike why not walk? Walking burns more than a bike since it requires more out of your body. Of course if you need low impact for joints go with the bike, I can totally understand that. My physio said because I have hypermobility in my joints I need to be very careful with running (I do ballet instead).
Can any of you do a little light stretching while watching tv? situps, yoga if you know it? I'll do some of my barre exercises while cooking, or even while brushing my teeth. try and find a few more ways you can move your body during every day activities.
Thanks guys,
myturn - I definitely don't enjoy exercise either even though I always feel better afterwards! I find if exercise is the first thing I do in the morning, there's no time to find an excuse not to. I know that's not always possible with schedules tho. I hope to hear later that you went down the shops in some active way- no pressure!! :D
Neda - thanks for the advice :) I have an ok knowledge of nutrition and have done lots of calorie counting in the past (I'm a bit OCD about recording things!!). The thing with weight watchers is I kind of think if I'm spending the money, I'd better use it, stick to it and not waste the cash! I might try a free calorie counting app and ww together for a week and see what I like :)
It's great you've found exercise you like in ballet!
I think weight watchers has an app actually. I downloaded it at some time. Didn't use it but I'm sure it exists :-)
Yes I DID walk down to the shops and walked home a longer way. :) :)
Used my heart rate monitor and didn't need to exert myself as much as I thought to get the heart rate up at the level needed which was good. When I do PT I always feel that THAt is what exercise is supposed to feel like. But I think I need to just go with a light walk every day is better. Although I have planter fasciatis (spelling?) so if I do too much weight bearing exercise my feet are in so much pain! I've been barefoot a lot of the last week and really feeling it. Back to wearing shoes for a while I think.
Anyway. My personal trainer cancelled or tonight and I'm going in the morning instead so I waxed my eyebrows, put on a face mask and had a shower and am feeling a bit better. Will see what tomorrow brings. Thanks ladies I really need help I'm driving myself crazy and sabotaging every effort.
Wow! the more i read in here the more i realise that we are going through the same struggles more or less :)) and it helped !! i need to lose weight too... i went on a diet two years ago and lost 15 kilos... before i started TTC i was weighing 65kg which for me is THE ideal weight but since my LAP, with meds and emotional strain i've gained it all back... now as the holidays are over i'm trying to gain control over my eating habits.. i need to lose at least 10 kg... what motivates me:
1. make one small goal at a time
2. focus on eating healthy rather than dieting or starving... or else i'll eat more
3. find interesting recipes from the net and modify... makes it more interesting :)
4. and plan ahead... (this is the most difficult part!)
well, good luck ladies... i hope we can help and motivate each other :))
Yay, I'm loving "reporting in" on this thread!
myturn - you seem right on track with walking today and personal trainer tomorrow. Gold star for you, ha ha! I understand how foot pain would make the idea of exercise unappealing. How did the healthy eating go?
ineedpixiedust - :hello: I can totally relate. I lost weight in early 2011, then had a lap & d&c in July, then moved house and didn't have a kitchen for 2 months. My weight just went up and up. I love your 4 motivators, especially planning ahead, that really works. At least you can repeat what you did last time and hopefully there'll be no surgery this year to trip you up!
Today was pretty good for me, walked this morning and ate healthy during the day because I knew my partner wanted tacos for dinner (I only had 1!). I find I'm pretty good with exercising (jog or walk most days) but healthy eating and healthy snacking - that's where I need motivation! Isn't it funny how we all so desperately want to lose weight so we can just put it back on again in baby weight some day soon :crossfingers:
eating was average today - bought some more weet bix which I've been missing the last couple of weeks, so hopefully that will start the plan off well tomorrow to start again.
I bought some chick peas with a falafel recipe on the can to give that a go tomorrow for lunch. Something different to try.
so tomorrow we will start again... I'm going to clean the fridge and pantry out and get rid of any crap.... if that is all I get done tomorrow, I will be happy.
good night!!
Yum weetbix I haven't had them in ages. I am still a bit slack need to start making my lunch and buying more fruit and focusing.
Sounds like you are getting back on track myturn :-)
mich8: till today... no effort made... i just ate a chunk of bread with tea... i need to stock in with fruit, vegetables and brown bread as from this afternoon so when i feel like snacking i can put my hands on some healthy food. AND i'll plan my weekend ahead.... that would set the ball rolling. yes its funny how we all want to lose weight but are willing to gain it all back by getting pregnant!!! :)) it's ironic!! i hope i get a big belly soon after my weight loss regime :P
Morning!
Neda - I downloaded that app you suggested last night and it's great! Thanks! It's really similar to the WW app so I might as well save some money. It's put me on 1200 calories a day. Lets see if I can do this!!
myturn - Yum felafel! Was training torturous this morning? Your cupboard clean out sounds great. I'd love to do that but my partner is a junk food fiend and would kill me. He's skinny tho - don't ya hate that :wall:
kerbear and ineedpixiedust - It definitely takes more time to eat healthy, pre-preparing lunches and healthy snacks - but it'll be worth it:crossfingers:
I walked again this morning and on my to do list is do a healthy shop and get a bigger cooler bag for all the healthy breakfasts, lunches and snacks I will be packing for work!
PT wasn't too bad - but ask me again tomorrow - we will see how my arms are then :-) lol
Falafel's didn't work out that great - tasted okay - but kinda flopped! lol.... that's what happens when you try a recipe from the side of a woolworths brand can of chick peas!
anyway, got the weet bix and had them for brekky - felt like the day started well - but ate too much of my chick pea flop ;) but plugged it into my shape up club app and I can at least keep track of it.
I saw Gillian Michaels on The Dr's the other day and she was telling one overweight lady that if she really wanted to lose weight she HAD to count calories.... bleugh - it's so hard to keep track of it when others are cooking. Really it means you have to weigh and measure everything.... but I guess we just have to.
anyway - I feel a bit more on track with everything else - ie - got the car booked in for a service and clean, called ambulance victoria to change my name on my membership etc etc etc.... so hopefully I can keep that going and make it a habit...
it just seems so overwhelming...
Well, as long as the "floppy"felafels tasted ok
I was well behaved today - staying under 1200 calories is tough tho, basically one slip up and you're over :( Has your app set you a daily limit myturn?
I've decided I'm going to stop living in denial and weigh myself on Sun :hide: It'll be 10 days since IUI so it will be the same day I POAS. Might as well get all my results at once!!
Good luck all for a healthy weekend! My biggest challenge will be Sunday - pub lunch and buffet dinner - give me strength!! Ha ha
Yeah the app sets a limit - It's about 7000kJ - but changes according to my weight - and adds extra kJ if I exercise - which is always motivating!!!! I need to weigh myself as well - first thing in the AM, but I've been doing it evenings and it's always higher 0 bleugh.. BTW I think the pill has made me put weight on this month, so it's not looking all that great and it's a bit disheartening that it's harder to budge....
Definately change to weighing in the morning it always feels better and they reckon not to go it after a shower, not sure why though.
I have been a bit better today, still got a way to go but to be focused. Glad to hear everyone is going ok :-) its so hard when we have so many things we have to do for this little bundle of joy we all want!!!
myturn - I saw you were feeling down today and just wanted to send you a  It's hard to know whether it's the drugs, hormones or just genuine emotional strain getting you down isn't it? I really hope you feel better soon and that this attempt is your turn.
kerbear - I'm glad you're gradually getting focused :) Maybe I'll weight myself in the morning, after exercise so that im a few hundred grams lighter from sweat loss - I'm such a cheater!!
okay so after a few days of being a sook, I have started this week off a little better :)
food wise -- average today - but did try a new recipe from this months Good Food magazine - Asian Pork Noodle Salad - it was quite nice :) walked to the shops twice today - I have a new goal to walk to pick up groceries etc - after all it's about 900metres to get there.... i know! we are so lazy and usually drive!! got a yoghurt maker for christmas a tried making a new flavour last night so I tried that today - cleaned out the fridge and used a mango we had in there in the yoghurt - and it was quite nice.
also cleaned the pantry out so i know whats in there now lol
off to PT in the morning, so will start tomorrow off well
however the scales say I put on 1kg this week... hmpf.... I'm going with the theory that it is the pill - which I finish today - phew! and christmas combined....so with some work I should be able to lose the 3.5kg that I seem to have put on over the past month :(
how's everyone else feeling??
myturn - isn't it so unfair how you can put on 3 kilos in few days then it takes a month to lose it!!! It's probably the pill, I always used to put on weight on the pill, grr! You sound like you've taken some great steps today tho. Asian pork, yum :p Good luck for PT tomorrow - weigh yourself after that, you might have lost the kilo:D
I was really good with diet and exercise tues - sat, then had a blowout last night at a buffet dinner - blah
Anyway I weighed myself sun morning and it was about what I was expecting, not great, but I didn't pass out in horror  I'd really like to lose 4 kg in 4 weeks before my appointment but that's a really big challenge for my body! We'll see how it goes, no more buffets allowed!!!
Oh, also I'm 11 dpo and still getting a BFN, but instead of feeling down and eating bad, I felt down and went out exercising. Feeling kinda proud, ha ha.
Does anyone have any ideas for healthy lunches to take to work? I just can't do salad for lunch!!
well done! I really wish I could do the feeling down and going for a walk thing...
I have some lean cuisines and weight watchers frozen meals in my freezer and take them to work - you have to microwave them, but if you are able it's REALLY easy - and they're yummy! IMO Lean Cuisine are the best - just watch which brnd you get to make sure they are healthy :)
oh dear.... I've just been reading up on the complications of obesity and pregnancy and labour.... i suppose scaring the bejeesus out of me is a good thing.... but I feel the anxiety that the HUGE job of losing weight is for me.... bleugh...
Argh, Dr Google can be terrifying sometimes! I guess any motivation is good motivation tho.
Although I know losing weight will be beneficial overall for ttc and preg, I think my fertility problems are unrelated. I've been underweight, healthy and overweight in my adult life and my messed up cycle is always consistently messed up
Another little good thing I've done is to get the kitchen scales out and keep them on the bench so I can start getting an idea of how much different foods weigh for all the calorie counting fun!
Any more positives today?
Whew I missed a lot! Sorry girls had a bit of a sulk *lol*
Mich8 -1200 calories is really low! I get 1400 and find that a huge struggle, I'm not very active at all (very low energy) usually though. And it takes away calories since I have it set as a desk job. Granted I am jumping up all the time to hang the laundry, or feed the cat, or clean up what the cat just threw up, or unload the dishwasher.......
myturn yoghurt maker! I've tot to admit I'm a little jealous *lol* Those frozen meals are good, hubby has them for days when he's very low on remaining calories. I never gained weight on the pill, but I did feel sick a LOT so I'm sure that had something to do with it. Your weight may go up a bit as you increase your exercise due to increased muscle mass. More muscle is a good thing!! since muscle will burn calories even at rest whereas fat doesn't.
Lunch. If salad doesn't work, what about adding veggies to what you already take. Switch to a wrap instead of a sandwich (though check the calories carefully, a lot of them have just as much as bread, though wraps generally let you pack in more veggies without losing half your lunch out the side of your sandwich!
If you take leftovers from the night before or make up lunches on teh weekend, serve yourself half what you would normally take and add a veggie that can be heated up along side it. I would say take frozen, but most all the frozen veggies I've seen come out of china these days (or NZ but that's really china without them saying china) and I just don't trust that they havent' got who knows what in them.
Veggie based fritters. I recently learned a trick with cauliflower (ya I know, pretty yuck). But steam it in the microwave with some garlic and rosemary, then blend it up and use it as a base for fritters. Add whatever other veggies you have, one egg and a little bit of self raising flour till it's thick. They come out thinner than if you use flour as the base but a lot fewer calories and a lot more nutritious.
Not sure if it works for you with your job but can you have little snacks through the day? I hate to pull out the old carrot and celery sticks, but a trick that works (sometimes) with husband is to give him one of those little sistema snack boxes with something he can munch on during the day. He just gets bored, and where he works there's always trays of cookies and other bad stuff left over from meetings. Small portion of almonds or walnuts would work as well. The idea being you've got your little portions, you're limited. And if you eat them slower it give your brain that chance to say. Yes, I'm full. Here's an article I found a while ago that seems to help me out on my "hungry days" I get around the time of ovulation. By hungry I mean 'eat everything in the house'. BTW the maya gold they mention under chocolate is great!
With summer here soups won't work so well, but we did watch a show where they tested two groups. They both had chicken rice and veggies for lunch, but the first group had them on a plate, with a glass of water on the side. The second group had them blended with the water as a thick chicken soup. They went out and did their army training for the afternoon then they did ultrasounds of each groups stomachs. The group that had soup for lunch still had fuller stomachs since the water had a harder time separating out from the food and the stomach had to work to digest it all together. In the case of the first group the water was able to pass through quite quickly reducing stomach volume and making them hungry sooner.
Making up your own smoothies may work for summer? Use plain low fat yogurt (no fake sugars they're bad for you) some banana and other fruits? I have one of the generic magic bullet blenders that I picked up from kmart? bigW? Works really well, but may not work for you if you're not at home. Weekends treats! I'll do a healthy smoothy (milk greek yogurt banana and ice) as a mid morning snack, usually helps delay lunch a bit. The ice helps to make it feel thicker, more like a shake, and also works on the same principle as the water in the soup story.
Another trick that worked for us was to have salad a little while before dinner. We'd raid the garden and make up a salad first, then watch the news and fix dinner. I usually got away with serving hubby a smaller serving and he'd not even notice! I've been telling him for years that he needs to have half what he thinks he wants to eat, wait awhile then have more if he's still hungry. He's slowly coming around to it ( boys!). I still have to deal with his addiction to buffets though. Really unfair since I have trouble breaking the 'must eat my moneys worth' mindset. Besides he gets to take xenacal and I can't!
Keeping those kitchen scales on the counter is great:clap: I've found the lids to Jalna yogurt is perfect for weighing out little snacks of nuts or dried fruit. Weighing the food is really important, it's amazing how much we eat if we don't pay attention.
Oh, one other thing that I found works for me, though I didn't believe it when I first read it was to have a small serving of fruit when you first wake up, then be active for a bit. For me it's an orange, or peach and a plum then I do some of my morning activities, check teh mail do a bit of weeding in the garden, start laundry, check in on belly belly ;) ect and I'm usually able to go 2 hours before I actually eat breakfast. If I can put off breakfast till 10am I'm usually ok to have a smaller and slightly later lunch. I know this probably only works for us commissioners of domestic affairs but you might be able to find a way to get it working for you.
It's so exciting hearing how well everyone is doing!
Time to hang the laundry.
I feel so aweful for not being on here for support for you guys, I have been I bit distracted and busy with work so have been a bit slack on here. I am not losing much, just going up and down but not gaining any extra do have still kept off 5.5kgs , want to keep trying for more off, still fairly focused which is good.
Mish8- I agree with you on the google thing it's deadly lol but we can't help ourselves. Your fritters sound yummmy, you have some great ideas for different things I might have to try some.
Myturn- I am a little boring for lunch but I love it, I have soa's with phili cream cheese (the less than 5% fat one) tomato, salt and pepper. Other than that mine are usually salad based.
Keep up the good work. :-))))
