Bel,
So sorry to hear your cycle was cancelled. I am seeing City IVF and I think they are great.
Can I ask though why you are looking to change?
Hi All,
Was wondering if anyone had advice on a clinic to attend. I live on the Gold Coast but am willing to travel to Brisbane to receive the best treatment possible. Am currently at a Gold Coast clinic but thinking of getting a second opion and treatment plan elsewhere. Am thinking of trying Monash on the Gold Coast.
Has anyone had any success or any recommendations they can pass on. Would be much appreciated as I'm confused and upset at the moment.
Thanks heaps,
Bel

Bel, not sure where you are going ATM but my OB was Dr Penny Isherwood. I didn't have an assisted conception bub myself but she and Dr Dunn do Monash IVF. One of my friends had an IVF bub through Dr Dunn last year. They are from Benowa Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
TiggerLinda- Thanks for the info. I've been looking into City IVF. I'm looking to change for a couple of reasons. Firstly I'd like a bit more of a personal approach to my treatment. Secondly I haven't had the greatest experience with one of the FS at my clinic. All the nurses are so fantastic and I really would feel bad changing clinics but I have to put my emotions aside and just focus on my goal I think. Such a hard decision though. Why is everything to do with TTC drag up so many emotions??
Charli'smumma- Dr Isherwood is my mum's gyno and I have heard she is pretty good too. Will look into that option. Thanks for the advice. Hope you are having an amazing time being Charli's Mumma!! Such a cute signature!!
Thanks girls..some food for thought as I lie in bed tonight

Hi Bel
I too am looking on the Gold Coast. Was the clinic you didn't feel comfortable with on the Gold Coast? If you would feel okay telling me - I'd be keen to know which one. (perhaps you could PM me?)
It's so important to get the right place to and to feel comfortable with the FS.
Good luck with your research.
Sarah
Hey Bel,
I'm new to IVF (currently in limbo after first cycle end of TWW) however after discussing with some friends who are also going through it.. we seem to think QFG has some good things going for it.
The support so far has been brilliant. I believe they've been in the game longest in Brissy.
My DH and I attended a seminar with them (free) and found it very professional. It helped our decision and we're glad we went with QFG.
It'd be worth discussing their programs with several and see what feel you get.
Good luck.. your decision may make a big difference.
Bella,
Hi Bel,
Sorry for the delay in replying. Let me know if you decide to give Dr Isherwood a go. I wish you all the very best on you journey![]()
