got a laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, tubal flushing ... lol the works" booked this friday

well i was given the choice to do another cycle of ivf or get a thourough check out of my repo system. i know after 2 yrs of little to no BFP ( Ive had 2 faint BFPS in 2 yrs of trying hard that never stuck)
I figure id feel better if they checked me out as it feels like just another wasted cycle and money if i went again!
it may be just me but my body has never been right after the very first MC back in Dec 2010 and has had a prob falling and staying preg ever since! before that i never had a prob. i had my daughter very easy!

I feel theres a block here in my lining or something. ever since i had that first D&C after mc
i get more cramping and AF Like Pains on my right side even when AF is not around. and around implant time my body feels lke AF is coming the next day or so the cramps are that bad.it feels like my body is fighting off the implanting embie.
i am told that our embies are very good qualty and fertlisation rate good wth IVF.

fingers crossed they find somthing to help us have our much wanted, tried for and waited for baby!

financialy this whole thing has nearly beaten us and emotionally its too much sometimes!
I cannot beive how much this lap/hysteroscopy thing is costing! its more than ivf!
but this is the end of the road as far as testing goes!!

please wish me luck that they my find soething to fix that works xoxoxox

ps.... off topic i was told by a clairavoyant ive got a blockage on my right side near my right ovary and once thats sorted we will have a big blue eyed girl (yeh graspin at straws) but i never told her about any of my TTC Stuff or wanting a baby!... oh i wish

GL!! We got the BFP for DD 2 months after my first lap/hysteroscopy. I just had a second one 12 days ago and I'm hoping it will work wonders again. FX it works wonders for you too!

If you need any tips for the recovery period, you'll find a page called "Laparoscopy Checklist" on my blog (link to my blog in my signature) or I can send you the link to the page itself via PM. I used that list to prepare for both of my laps.

well im back home now and nice and sore! on good painkilles tho
they found a bit of endometriosis on my right side of uterus and my left tube was blocked and it is all twisty looking like and old phone cord!!! right one is fine. he flushed then both and the curly one is cleared now but he is saying it is right risk of ectopic so has to be closely monitored.
because of my low AMH my ovaries are a lil small. and he has put me on DHEA or whatever to improve eggs a lil bit.
so my tubes cleared and my endo was taken out.
we will see from here...... i guess i need luck

Good luck, Sarah! Hopefully this will help! (I "celebrated" a year since my laparoscopy, hysteroscopy etc yesterday... and have been pregnant for 3 months in between, with IVF help though... Had moderate endo removed...)

FX for you Sarah! Even small amounts of endo can inhibit implantation, so removing that and fixing the tubes should put you in a great position! GL!!
