So DH and I are commencing IUI after 2.5 years of TTC. DH knows a little about the reproductive cycle of a woman and he does ask some questions when we are discussing the issue. He has a friend who has done IVF (through the same FS as us) and turns out another friend has needed assistance whilst trying to fall pregnant.
So he got to talking with the other friend and it turns out they tried TCM. After having this chat he races home and says to me:
"They went to a this Chinese guy and he said that they should have sex in the morning because sperms are stronger in the morning and fresher. After six months of trying they finally got pregnant this way "
I had to laugh. Then I had to explain to him that an average healthy couple can take 6-12 months to conceive. And even though testosterone is higher in the morning, I sadly don't think that that method is going to work for us

Bless him though for trying to be positive in our situation
