has anyone had a inconclusive pregnancy result?

    Hi all,

Long story short, having my 4th IUI cycle with purogen & then pregnol shots the last 2 weeks.

Went for pg test today & when they phoned they couldn't tell me one way or another if I was pg or not.

They said there is pg hormone in my system (which could be leftover from pregnol injection) & my estrogen
& progesterone levels are still high (normally I always have the pg hormone still left in system but the
estrogen & progesterone levels are always down). so this is different for me.

She did say usually the levels (sorry not sure which one) they like to see are 30 or above if your pg & mine
    are only 23.

Am I giving myself false hope or could I be pg?

Have to have another b/t Monday but of course that seems an eternity away lol.

If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

    Thanks, Jo

I can't give you a definitive answer, but I would imagine that even with IUI/IVF, its still possible to have lower than normal HCG levels in a viable pregnancy. I'm sure I read that one of the other girls here had low levels but the baby stuck.

Sorry I can't be more helpful

Yep, I kinda had a similar situation to yours. After our frostie transfer, I got a BFP on a pee test, but had some bleeding commencing at 5 weeks. They did a series of quantitative HCG blood tests and they said it wasn't clear if I was really pg or if it was a chemical pg/early miscarriage. My numbers weren't doubling but they were increasing slowly. FS said we wouldn't be sure until embyro was big enough to see on an US at 7 weeks. Praise God, embie stuck and is now crawling around on the floor.

I'm not sure, but 23 is not far off.
    Good luck for Monday

When I had my first baby I didn't get positive HPT's so I had a blood test, but it was inconclusive. They said it was more than likely a little too early so to have another test in a few days, and that second one was a definite positive. Fingers crossed for you that if you wait a couple of days you get your positive

    Me!!

My first blood test was 24. This was on a Friday morning. I was told to come back the Monday, which I did and my results came back with 198.

    I'm currently 35 weeks pregnant.

Best wishes for you hun, hope you get that BFP!!!
