Just a reminder to all: all LTers love seeing a fellow LTer achieve that longed-for BFP, and we all find hope in one of our own having success in this difficult journey. But please remember that there are those who cycled with you who may not have received good news at the end of their cycle. Please do not post baby/child/pg tickers or pg related signatures (eg blinking BFP icons) etc in this forum out of respect for them.

As it's easy to forget to remove your ticker, please be advised that we will remove it for you if it's posted in here. Just easier, is all.

    Yippee I'm first!

I everyone. I hope everyone is hanging in there either sniffing, jabbing, DTD, or patiently waiting for you next cycle. Wherever you are at

AFM. Just waiting for BT next week. No real news really. Studying, trying to distract myself.

Hope everyone has a relaxing weekend

    hi girls!

too many of us to do personals...sorry! i lose track!
just an update, im on CD24 of 28 day cycle and i hate this stress! im starting to feel like if im waiting for a positive it will never come but I dont know how to relax! DP and I "baby danced" on days 11, 13, 14, 15, and 18 this month and im stumped if it hasnt worked! (getting swimmer results wednesday) I have had a lot of sharp shooting pains and my breasts feel bruised when i touch them but only around the edges especially near the armpit! the left one more so. I dont want to read into this too much though. Im finding it sooo hard to resist testing until wednesday! I have alot of think lotion white type mucous and feel like something is coming out aka AF but nothing there. What are your thoughts on this, is it wishful thinking? ive decided to approach the end of each cycle with the thought I have a 50 percent chance of being pregnant the other 50 percent being Im not. This way it doesnt sound so bad ahaha. IM GOING NUTS! this is the 6th cycle since my d and c after 14 months of trying.

ME 21 DP 21-very much in love

    Hi All,

Well EPU went well. Sorry I didn't make contact last night but I was in terrible pain. FS said my right ovary was the size of a fist and he expected me to have a bad night. He was right!!

Good news is though that I got 11 eggs (that's 3 EPU's in a row with 11 eggs!!)

The embryologist rang this morning and said 8 had fertilised, so that's pretty good. Now I have to pray the little ones keep growing and make it to blastocyst on Wed.

Thanks for all your thoughts and wishes. You all mean so much to me.

Ruth- I hope you are doing well today and are feeling a bit better. I know we always hear it from everyone here..but it's quality not quantity that counts. My friend got 3 eggs last time, 2 made it and she is pg from those 2..and at 42. I hope your little ones are going well today. Let me know if you need to chat.

BDT- Not sure if you have posted. I'll check the previous thread now.

Smithy- You are such a sweetheart looking out for me. I just adore you!! Thanks my friend.

Well, I'm lying on the lounge at Mum and Dads feeling sore, but know it's for a good cause.

    Bring on my BFP!!!

Have a good weekend my friends.

    Hugs Bel

Hi Everyone - hope that you are all having a lovely weekend wherever you maybe.

Bel and Ruth - Hope that you are both recovering well today and enjoying a little pampering. I am sending lots and lots of positive vibes to your Little Ones to keep on growing and dividing.

BDT - how are you going today, hope all is well with you also. I am sorry but haven't checked through the last thread to see how you went yesterday.

21andTTC#1 - I to get wishful thinking and check for signs of AF all the time. I think its only natural especially when we want that BFP so much. My DH and I have done the baby dance on days 9,11,13,14 and 15 this cycle - today for me is CD16. Try to stay positive and relax, although I know that is easier said than done. If you need to POAS go for it, I always tell myself NO don't do it every cycle, but by about day 24 I am usually at the Chemist buying a few tests. Just can't seem to resist. I shall keep my fingers crossed for you.

A big HELLO to everyone else - I do hope that you are all doing OK and sending you all a great big Take Care Everybody.

    Hi everyone,

Hope you are all having a great Tuesday. It kind of feels like the start of a long weekend for me already, I am off work tomorrow for the ET, then off to Canberra on Wed night for my SIL?s wedding on the weekend. At least lots will be going on to keep me distracted. Proving all is ok with my ET tomorrow, fingers crossed, positive, positive.

Smithy, great news that you are feeling better, and glad to hear that AF is going away, the witch. I know what it is like to feel like everything is going wrong, so glad to hear that you are back on track and keeping your spirits up.

Bel, I am going great so far, I don?t think I will hear from the embryologist today, so am hanging out for tomorrow. I think my ET will be around 1.00 pm. I am trying really hard to be positive and not stress. How are you doing? 7 is amazing, sounds like everything will be fabulous for tomorrow. Will be thinking of you. Also, I have had brownish discharge since EPU, it must be the crinone mixed with the blood from the EPU. I am sure yours is nothing. I will be off line from tonight until next Monday, hope all goes well and look forward to seeing you in the TWW on Monday.

Ruth, that is wonderful news for you, congratulations, I bet you are so happy, fingers crossed that tomorrow is the start of great things for you also, you can add me to the others that are praying for you. The crinone hasn?t hit me yet, unless I am still feeling twinges from the EPU. But the sorest BB I have ever had, am sleeping in a bra and don?t even want to take one off to shower. From my last cycle, the crinone didn?t really kick in for me until about a week into taking it. The side effects are horrible. DH keeps asking me if I feel worthy. LOL. He also wants to know why they don?t invent a drug that makes you feel like s*x, or do they call that Viagra? Hope the cramps don?t last.

Possums, thanks for dropping in, I hope all is progressing for you, and your next BT gives you everything you are hoping for and the reassurance you need. Fingers crossed for you.

21, fingers crossed for you for this month. I read some of your past posts, I too know what it means to feel like your TTC seems so much longer than everyone elses. I am coming up to 4 years now, not as long as some but some much longer than a lot of others. I am consoling myself with ?what?s meant to be is meant to be? but it doesn?t help much. I guess you just have to know that you baby is out there somewhere, waiting for the right time. Good luck to you, will be thinking of you.

Mels, I hope you are holding up ok, I am so sorry to hear your news. I hope this is not totally inappropriate to say, but maybe take some positives that you are half way there. You know you can fall pregnant. There are some of us out there that have never had a BFP, myself included, and fear that it will never happen for us ever. I know that is no consolation, but maybe keep faith that it is just a matter of getting the hormones right and all the right bits in place for you etc and it will happen. If this is totally the wrong thing to say, I really apologise, and am just trying to look for some positives. I hope all goes well with you FET this month, there have been lots here lately that have been successful with their FETs. Will be praying for you.

Yvette, good luck for your EPU tomorrow, I hope all goes swimmingly. Wow, 16 ? 18 is a great number. Hope you are not too sore now and after. Look forward to joining you in the TWW. Sending you lots of sticky vibes and hope this is your month.

Wouldloveabubba, how exciting, I wish you all the luck with your first IVF cycle, a great number of eggs, lots fertilised, beautiful embies and a BFP at the end. There seems to be so many that get that BFP the first time round, I hope it works for you. Look forward to hearing how your cycle progresses.

LNB, all the best for your FET tomorrow, and hope that Wednesday is a great day for all of us. See you in the TWW and sending you lots of sticky vibes.

Kahlan, welcome back, not too long to your FET, fingers crossed for you for this month, good luck for Monday, I look forward to hearing how it went.

Milly, I am praying that AF stays away for you and glad that the spotting has stopped. Not long to go now. Take care of your self!

Helen, fingers crossed for your scan on Wed, and am praying for great eggs for you. I hope all goes well!

Curlygirl, how are you going with your cycle, I hope all is well?

AFM, still scheduled for ET tomorrow and very excited, as it will be my first blastie ET. I am going for broke and will transfer 2, providing that I have 2 to transfer. Love to all here, sorry if I missed anyone, my thoughts are with you, and see you on Monday when I am back from Canberra.

    Hugs, xx

    Hey Guys

Sorry for being MIA for the last couple of days. I was getting a bit too addicted to this site, and wasn?t getting any work done Just taken some time this evening to catch up with where everyone is. Thanks for all the support and info.
Shelbee ? I think that it may be worth TTC naturally for a couple of months. My Doc says that the lap can clear the system a bit and get rid of any minor blockages that may have been there to start. Its got to be better than IVF if you can do it naturally. I would give myself a couple of months and then try the IVF. I was also told not to try in my cycle after the lap/hysteroscopy, but I think that?s because the one they want me to go for (I haven?t been yet) has Xrays in, and its not safe for a baby to be conceived just after?
CurlyGirl ? Good Luck with the triggers and EPU. I hate needles, and just having a pregnyl in my bum gets me cringing? But you are so brave. Its what we have to go through to get the BFP
JBM ? Good luck with the transfer. What?s an ACU?
Lilmisshavachat ? I hope you feel better soon and your helping hand works
Wouldlovebubba ? What?s the harm in BD?ing? Surely there is no reason not to? Good luck with the IVF
21andTTC ? I always wait 1 week, as my cycles have been that long before. But it is the most frustrating wait. Good Luck!
Smithy ? sending lots of baby vibes your way with your IVF
BabyDreamtime ? How did the ET go?
Bel ? How are you doing?
Ruth ? Yay on your embies.
Mels77 ? I?m so sorry for you. It will happen for you. Keep positive
Where there?s hope ? I hope your FS will let you try the other method, but maybe the BD worked this month??
Everyone else, good luck with your cycle
AFM, I saw the doc today , and there is good news in that I have an eggie. She did an LH test as well, which was almost positive (how that can be) But She said I was likely to ovulate today or tomorrow, so she gave me a Pregnyl jab anyway as I was there, and DH and I are keen keen keen to get going here. So we DTD this evening (before my husband went out to play soccer with work colleagues) and will keep doing the BD this week to try and catch that Egg.
Otherwise, next cycle I?m going to have a Hysteroscopy. Doc has said not to try and conceive that month as I think the way they do it here is with an Xray, so not good for baby if it comes? That?s a good thing, As I?ll be in London during the time I am due to ovulate anyway, without DH, so no BD will happening over next month?s O period. After that we try for a few months, hoping my system is flushed out. I feel better as I have a bit of a direction and a ?what?s happening? for the next few months.
Hope you are all having good baby dreams, and your Eggs are good and strong and ready and waiting.

    Goodnight
    p.s. anyone on MSN/Skype?

Well, I have one on board! ET went well yesterday and I had acu before and after. I'm going again on Saturday. Good news: two days off work! Bad news: One of the 3 embies we got was a dud, 1 good one has gone in and the remaining one was not looking great so it might not be freezable! Argh I'm so angry - how can we end up with only 1 embie on board and no frosties! Grrrrr.

BabyTruj - I know what you mean about not getting any work done, I turn this site on before I turn my accounts package on at work ... talk about addictive .. wondering how everyone is going .. I need to keep a little diary so I dont have to keep reading back over the entries to see where everyone is at, it is so nice getting a little personal message..

Does any one have any idea's on how to make it easy to read the entries for the day ?

AFM: Oh yeah I am officially loosing my mind and its only day 2 .ha !!.. Did I inject in the correct position?? Maybe I did it too low ?? I should have watched that DVD another 20 times to be sure !!!! ohhh maybe I left the Puregon on the bench and didnt put it back in the fridge - oh I better drive back and make sure !!! so I have gone from worrying about the hair straightners being left on to the puregon being left on the bench - and its only day 2 ...

You ladies deserve a big - you are all an inspiration to me and I am so happy I have found this site so we can all help each other xxxxx Be positive and know that good packages come to good people ....

    hi guys!

just an update, DP and I have appointment for wednesday to get his blood and sperm analysis results and praying all is ok. DP and I are thinking about having a courthouse wedding to get his army benefits such as private health for our ivf if needed but i want a nice wedding will just have to wait and see! ALSO im now 1 day late for AF and this has only happened once ( other than MC pregnancy) and that was about 4 months ago and it came on CD 29 so im a bit stumped, i had bad cramps and lower back pain yesterday but nothing showed! today i have no uterus pain but lower back ache today and still nothing just alot of lotion like CM. I dont think its a bladder or kidney infection as i dont have a fever or nausea or headaches. I did 2 preg tests sat arvo and sunday morning being 5 and 4 days bf exected AF and not done one since, what do u guys think? also i have been waking up about 5 30 am everyday and cant go back to sleep coz i feel fully awake! ive been taking elevit just incase but truly dont believe i am, im more upset as I know my cycles are 28 days and I at least had that positive that my cycle was good. I wish it would hurry up!

BEL- I hope your cycle has a wonderful ending!

Thank you everyone for the warm

lilmishavachat - thanks for your help. Good luck to you also. Hope those ovaries get well and truly active for you. My cramping is lessening BUT I am still bleeding. I thought I was going to need a transfusion last night!! You are certainly right about this being the place to get all the help I need! Again, and I hope your cramping starts to subside.

JodieC65 - Thanks for your kind wishes. I wish you just as much luck! We will all get there in the end.

babytruj - I think I would like to try naturally (although it is the last thing I feel like doing right now!) My doc hasn't advised us against conceiving right away so there is only one way to find out if the plumbing has been cleared!! Sorry, did you say you haven't had your lap/hysteroscopy yet?? I am glad I did it....it was a process of elimination really. You are right about this site. I should be working but I am more concerned about reading bellybelly posts. Thank you for your advice.

It is SO hard to keep track of everyone in here so to all and may you all hear the pitter patter of little feet soon.

By the way, is anyone having IVF at St George Private at Kogarah at the moment?? I may end up going back there for IVF and have only experienced IUIs there. How have you found the IVF process there??
