Last Embryo Transfer

Hi all

Just letting you know that Im having my last embryo transfered on Wednesday 18th and its a blastie.

I pray and hope so much that this takes as I really dont want to have to go through a whole cycle again. So

that is takes (implants) and that I become pg.

for all who are going through it as well for your dreams to come true.

Have you had your 2 implanted or still on hold???? If you did how did you go. Did they take and does anyone know if Blastie have more of a change???

My understanding is blasts have a higher success based on my opinion from hanging around IVF forums (not just BB) but even if you transferred those particular embryos at day 2 -3 they in all likelihodd would implant just as well too IYKWIM.

They say just the strongest / best embryos make it to blast. But not all clinics grow embryos to blast especially if you only have a few fertilised eggs due to the high attrition rate and they would rather transfer an embryo than none. There are so many factors about why a bubba sticks or doesn't.

If you ask a few of ladies with successful IVF bubs - you might an even mix of day 2-3 embryos and blastocysts.
