typically 5-10 days after you finish the last clomid pill. You might like to buy some cheapie LH OPK's from ebay to test when you are ovulating, they are pretty useful. I'd be BD every second day from CD12 until you are sure you ovulated, or even more than that if you can.

If your anything like me, you will definitely know from the ovulation pains, ouch! Sorry I don't mean to scare you It's bearable, just uncomfortable.
    Good luck!

I agree with M and Tasha.

Bellabee, are you having blood test monitoring with the Clomid? It would be a much more reliable way of finding out when your LH and estrogen is rising, especially with PCOS. When I was taking it I started BTs every day from day 11 and my FS would ring me and tell me exactly when and how often to DTD. It was like military precision so much for the romance! Might be worth asking at next appointment (though hopefully you won't need it!).

Best of luck, hope that egg makes an appearance soon x

I personally don't and wouldn't do clomid unmonitored because I am not happy with the risk of multiples. I also get some serious side effects - it makes my depression infinitely worse O.o and I need the medical contact to remain OK. I get ultrasounds CD10 of every clomid cycle with a hcg trigger, and we've recently added IUI. This was probably TMI but doesn't hurt to let others in on how we manage clomid .

If you have started clomid this cycle, you should ovulate between CD14 and CD20 (averaging) therefore your cycle will average 28-35 days. Long cycles suck, I know I have always dealt with long cycles, but my clomid cycles were always 32 days. You at least need a CD21 progesterone test to check if the clomid is working.

How are you going hun, i'm glad to see your using BB to get some answers.. the girls are all amazing and will support you and give as much information as you need.
If you need me you know where to find me, i only wish i was back home so we could sit down and have a chat, i know i have kids and i know it seems i probably have no idea what your going through (and your right i don't know the pain) but i've seen quite a few friends going through it and i'm here, you can yell, scream and even punch me (benefit of being fmaily i guess) if you need to... i will support you 100% but you NEED to tell me when you need me. DEAL!
