Just a reminder to all: all LTers love seeing a fellow LTer achieve that longed-for BFP, and we all find hope in one of our own having success in this difficult journey. But please remember that there are those who cycled with you who may not have received good news at the end of their cycle. Please do not post baby/child/pg tickers or pg related signatures (eg blinking BFP icons) etc in this forum out of respect for them.

As it's easy to forget to remove your ticker, please be advised that we will remove it for you if it's posted in here. Just easier, is all.

    Evening All,

Sorry for no personals, but its late as usual!! Been at work at my casual job all day and had a girlfriend over tonight who has just started needles in her first IVF cycle today. She is using a donor as she is on this journey without a partner. I am trying to be her support person as I just can't imagine doing this without DH's support.

My appointment at the FS yesterday went relatively well. I saw photos of my insides...quite freaky really!! I had a bit more endo than I had originally thought. Was on 1 of my ovaries, my uterus and my bladder. Had originally discussed with my FS and hoped for a fully drug controlled cycle so that I could TF on around the 18th August. I can't work after a TF so have to try to fit TFer's in around my roster...very tricky. But after having an US done yesterday, FS saw my lining was quite thick (even after a D&C 12 days ago) and he thinks AF will come soon. This is going to mess everything up.

AND, I have to have an US on day 2 of my cycle and I'm going OS for work next Wed for a week. So now I really hope AF doesn't come. Hopefully she won't and I'll start provera on 31st July so that I can do my TF as scheduled....SO CONFUSING!! Poor FS was scratching his head trying to work out what to do. He ended up giving me his personal email address and told me to email him if AF arives and he will work out what to do. Was amazed how much he cares.

DH is home tomorrow and I'm going to talk to him about taking 6 months leave from my job that takes me OS all the time and just working my casual job at home. I just think it would make this all so much easier.

I MUST go to bed. I'm off to work again tomorrow.

Will catch uo tomorrow with you all,

    Hugs Bel

Ps..Sorry for the me me me post but wanted to update you all and see if you had any ideas/suggestions to help me!!

Tiggerlinda- yay! good luck with the ET...

Bel- it's great your FS cares so much. Less travel might be good...hope talks with DH go well.

as for me...anxious, waiting and a bit grouchy and tense with people who appear to not understand this at all and say dumb stuff. I whinged in the TWW thread, so will leave it at that for now. still hopeful though of course.

Oh Miss K- I am so sorry to hear what a hard time you are having still. It does sound scary and you also have the anxiety of wondering what's happening inside you. I send you healing energy and really pray you feel much much better soon and have a little one growing inside you.

    Happy Monday to everyone!

Sorry, feeling really good and energetic today... most unusual for me on a Monday. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

TL - I'm so excited for you! Sending lots of your way. 5 embies out of 6 eggs is great. Hope you get to transfer one beautiful one and freeze 4 little brothers or sisters for later. Looking forward to seeing you in the TWW.

Miss K - so sorry that you are still feeling so bad. for you. Hopefully, things will start to get better soon and next week you will find out that it is a definite BFP

Possums - I have read your other thread, and I have felt all those feelings too, so understand what you are going through. This is the worst part of the TWW, those last few days leading up to the BT. But just think, 4 more sleeps and you will know! Sending you so many and a great big hug too.

Bel, how confusing , but what a great FS it sounds like you have. I hope you and DH can arrive at a solution to your travelling problems. I know that just holding down a full time job while you go through this is hard enough without having all that travelling on top of it. I think you should do what is best for your stress levels. It is all stressful enough without having other things in our lives stressing us.

Paula - Have you had your scan yet? How is everything. Really for you my friend.

KateB - I got a lot of ovary pain from very early on. I think I probably noticed it more because I came from having non-existent cycles.

Bee83 - I wish I had some words of wisdom for you, but I haven't been through that particular situation. Just know that we are all here for you.

Janet - hope you are having fun with the packing

AFM - nothing to report here. Feel exactly the same as normal. It is strange doing a FET after a stim cycle as you don't feel as many aches and pains. However, I did have one rather decent cramp on my left hand side this morning... hope it was a cramp for all the right reasons

Tiggerlinda what fantastic news! Sending you lots of .

Meredith sounds like a recipe for success. Best of luck in your TWW.

Bel it does sound very confusing but your FS sounds wonderful and very caring so im sure he will work out the right thing to do for you.

MissK still thinking about you hun. It does sound very scary but you are in the best place to have it all sorted and to be looked after properly. I hope you get better real soon and you do see a heartbeat as a reward for all your hard work over the past few weeks. Best of luck!

Janie i really really really hope it is an implant cramp. Ive got my fingers crossed for you

Had my second scan and BT today. Lots of follies came up on the screen. On my right ovary i have at least 5-6 over 18mm and on my left about 4 over 18mm. There were lots of little ones though which is a little concerning. My right ovary looked like bubble wrap it was crazy!! So they are pretty sure i will be going to theatre on Wednesday but i have to wait for the call this afternoon.

I had my second acupuncture session this morning and it went well. More relaxing than the first thats for sure. I wasnt as tense because i knew what to expect i guess. She now wants to see me again on Wednesday morning before EPU if time permits.

So now im just waiting and waiting and waiting for the call to see what happens and will be praying lots and lots that i dont get sick (OHSS) after EPU

Hi Ladies, I have been MIA for a while since my 1st IVF BFN and would love to join you all again but will not be starting another IVF cycle till I speak to FS latter this month.
So fingercrossed our next cycle is only a couple of week away.

Paula, all the best with EPU on Wednesday .
I think mine were at 14,000 before EPU. In saying that the nurse did say for me to drink and pee (TMI..sorry) and much as I could in the lead up to EPU.

TL, congrats on your ET and that you get a frostie...

I will try and catch up with you all in the next couple of days...
Sending this thread lots and lots of with lots of and bring on that
