Recommendations for Acupuncturist - Melb

Hi Everyone,

After my first IVF/ICSI ended in a BFN, I am looking at introducing accupuncture into my FET cycle which I am about to begin.

Please let me know if there are any recommendations for good acupuncturists with IVF experience in Melbourne. I am looking for Central Melbourne, East Melbourne and around South Yarra/Toorak areas preferably.

Janie, the acupuncturists in the BB Centre have awesome experience - one has worked closesly with someone who has remarkable success with unexplained fertility and one working closely with a leading expert in their field (fertility). They can work until 9pm (we close at 7pm but they can do til 9pm when there are no workshops). Check out their profiles to see if you think they might be a good fit. (no I dont get commission )

Hi - I go to Fertile Ground in East Melbourne to see my naturopath and kinesiologist. They also have acupuncturist, which I have not yet used. This practise specialises in women's health and fertility. They have a website - so might be worth looking at.

The BB Centre does too But we also offer education, workshops and community based stuff too, thats the only difference.

I have seen Milly at Fertile ground and think she is awesome.
I now see Kirsten at Mornington Complementary Medicine (MCM) who is also awesome but is closer to where I live (langwarrin). She is affiliated with Justin who does sessions at the BellyBelly centre (and MCM) and I believe he is also very good. So there are 2 recommendations from your area to check out.

Janie I only just saw your post. I saw Alice Gao (Alice Gao-Cui Chinese Medicine Clinic) on Balwyn Road Balwyn. She specialises in traditional chinese medicine and acupuncture for Women's Health and Fertility. She can fits her schedule to suit ETs as well. She understands IVF to the nth degree. She recommends treatment in the months leading up to a cycle but can provide one off services too.
