just starting my First IUI cycle with hubbys frozen sperm

Hi All
been told by fs due to amh levels being fairly low to not muck around TTC any longer!!
and with DH allways working away for 2 wks at a time is impossible to catch that egg! ... so here goes .... my first IUI cycle. i am on day 3 of taking clomifene so far i have noticed i am a little moody but not too bad, thankfully DH is away so he wont have to ask me why im crying for no reson!
i have 3 more days of clomifene to go then ultrasound stage daily blood tests... should be fun!... then IUI Day
i am so happy to feel like im actualy doing somthing to help get that very long awaited for BFP ... and baby!!!! and im tryng very hard not to put too much presure on myself and to relax an not get my hopes up!... but if im truly honest i would have to say i am so hopeful that this will work i have saved to get this done and i have waited and waited for my BFP after losing one all the way back in december last yr and not one BFP since!! so please wish me luck and please god let this be my lucky cycle so i can stop worrying about missing the boat and running out of eggs!!! xxxxxxxxooooooo thanks for reading and i will keep you posted ....

I hope it goes well for you! Usually the IUI procedure is quite easy.

Do you remember your AMH? Mine was on the low side too. We have 4 IUI's, one converted to IVF, two BFN's, one miscarriage at 5 weeks, but I found the process easy to cope with and I hope you do too!

hey thanks so much girls its good to feel im not alone ... now i have 1 more day til my first ultrasuond to see how eggys grown !!! and 1 more day of clomiphene!!!yay... cause its weird feeling moody for no reson... like gettig mad at the stuff im trying to cean off the sink or fighting back tears for the poor cows in a "beef bus" im following in my car!!! ( i am compassionate but usually can handle not wanting to cry ect!!) ..... the joys of hormones hey... practice for when im preggy
oh and Maruschka my AMH was 5.4 .... yours? xo

Mine was 6.1. My FS wasn't super super worried about my AMH... he did point out that it was low but that's about it.

Sounds like you are reacting to clomid normally... being hormonal is normal lol. I hope it works for you .

thanks hun xo... me too! ... whens your IVF cycle happening? looks like soon... i hope you get your BFP too!! yeh clomid has made me a little crazy lol and atho i now why im feeling that way for a reason and a very good one!... i still cant help it! but i try to laugh at myself when i figure it out.. xo

Hi all .... just an update saying i had my IUI on friday now trying to stay sane in the 2ww! trying not to think about it but its allways in the back of my mind .... makes it worse i think when my house is so quiet and empty with just me n the cat while DH is away! thank gosh he gets back on tuesday! on weds when they gave me my ltrasound to check the eggs growth they said ring them if leade follical is 15-16mm or bigger and my lead was 23 ... and another next to it was 20.... so they said wow your early and got me to drive up to thier office in southport for a trigger injection to make me have a surge to release egg that day!... phew 3-1/2 hrs of driving to get that lol. anyway had to inject myself that night at 9:15... well id never had to inject myslef in my life!!! lol so was'nt sure if i coud actually stick it in me.. ha, so i got my good friend to, thank gosh she could .... then i was booked in for 9:15am friday to hae the IUI... I was sooo excited, felt like i was actualy doing something to help TTC as i was just grateful not to miss my O day cause of DH's working away. and the dr was very happy with how strong n heathy DH sperm was after the washing and freezing n thawing process he said a great number of 12million healthy sperm was left :-) in one tiny straw... so i didnt need to worry about that (as he had never had is swimmers frozen before). so between that and my big fat egg being timed just right and the dr saying naturally only a teeny amount of sprem make it in uterus where as i have 12milion put in there it should be good right! im trying to be optimstic at this point.. i dont know if its just wishful thinking but as i was laying there resting afterwards i just got this feeling like its going to work".... cant explain it and im scared to get my hopes too high but geeze it would be nice ... thanks for reading xoxo

well it didnt work .... so now onto next IUI please wish me luck as im schedualed for my IUI at 11:15 QLD time tomorrow 9/12/11 i had to drive a 3 hrs round trip in the pouring rain yest late afternoon and came home after dark! ... all to set my alarm to be shot up with my trigger of ovidrel at 12am lol!!! er mission!!! im hoping this is the last time!!!!! xxxxxx
