Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception 2015 #1

Feeling frustrated. Could be the meds messing with me or it could just be dh being insensitive. I don't know. Dh doesn't get it. Each cycle is no big deal for him. He has already done hia part so the onky impost on him is to turn up on transfer day. He keeps saying 'whats a few tablets, bts, scans. No big deal.' And when I whinge about pessaries he just says 'all you have to do is lye down for an hour every 12 hours. Thays easy.' Grrrrrrrr..... not feeling very supported. Living your life in 12 hour intervals is not easy, having to ensure you have meds with you at all times and ensuring they remain cold is a pain, and having to lye down is just inconvenient and equals broken sleep and frantic dashes from work. Sorry for the rant. Just feeling emotional. Final vt tomorrow then hopefully transfer on mon

Jane there's nothing wrong with feeling frustrated. Males don't understand. They aren't the ones with drugs messing around with their hormones. Hopefully there is a positive outcome for you for this cycle.

Good luck with transfer on monday fx it all goes well and that there is a bfp (what does the f stand for? ) for you. Xo.

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception 2015 #1

Ladies, I'm sorry to say I think we're done. I haven't O'd since May and as much as I'd like to hope it may resume, I have to face the fact that it is more likely a sign that I'm heading into menopause. I wish you all the best of luck with your journeys and hope that your dreams are soon fulfilled. If my situation changes, I will come back, but for now I think I need some time away from TTC...

Juniper76 my heart is heavy with sadness that you have had to make the decision that we all must make one day, when getting pregnant fails us.

I wish you and your family all the best, and that the future for you brightens

Thank you for your support and welcoming words. You made this group a place for others ttc to discuss their feelings [good or bad] and although I have only been here for a short time, I am sure your presence will be sadly missed by all :'( xo

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception 2015 #1

Well I have my trigger inj [ovidral] at 2215 h {10:15 pm} tonight, so waiting up for it. So looking forward to a day without inj lol

Bt on sat was good, estrogen levels had gone up by 2000 from fri test. Unsure about what that means, acupuncturist said that it was a good sign that i hadn't had massive clotting this cycle [sorry for tmi ladies].

Starting to get my hopes up that this ivf cycle might actually work. It's also about 3yrs ago that I had a fet that resulted in the blessing of my ds fx.

Nearly time so going to prep for inj. Night ladies.

Juniper, I'm sorry you've had to make that brave decision. Be kind to yourself.

Hopeful mum, that's all sounding very promising! I hope you get lots of lovely healthy eggs!

Afm, I'm going to hang out here til I get my second BT, which is due tomorrow. I'm getting a bit nervous about it now... :/ If all's well, I'll bow out then, hopefully never to return!

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception 2015 #1

Have any of you ever been on clomid? If so, did it cause mood swings/crankiness? AF is due tomorrow but I've just had a big change in my life, starting a new job last week after over ten years that has been a huge stress for me, so I'm not sure if now is the right time to be adding clomid to the mix. DH is desperate for me to get started on it though. Any thoughts, experiences, advice?
