Wow! It's official girls!!!
IM PREGNANT!!!!! 6 weeks + 1 day.............
Positive test at docs, and off for an ultrasound next week to confirm dates and stuff!
This is my first pregnancy and I'm in shock, seriously. It doesn't feel real, I'm trying so so much to be excited but in the back of my mind I'm secretly really scared!
I've waited so long to get this news and now I have, I don't know how to take it!!!
OMG please don't get me wrong , I'm so happy but just can't believe it yet.
So looks like all going well I will be a mummy by Christmas time......
My heart and best wishes are all still and will be thinking of each and every one of you in here,
I'll be sticking around and stalking you all..
I'm actually feeling a bit guilty! That so many of you have been here on this journey for so much longer than me, and here I am announcing I'm pregnant already.
Although it has Been a long and emotional 2 &1/2 years trying for us I can't help but feel some guilt for you ladies..
Everything is crossed that this ones a sticky and there are some more on the way for you ladies!

Nic that is fantastic news. No one in here would begrudge a BFP, no matter how long you are in the group, you are still and LTTTC'er and I believe it gives us all hope that it can happen out of the blue xxx
Did you get levels done by the doc? I didn't for my first BT but I wish you a strong, happy and healthy (and sticky) 9 months xxxx

As for not feeling real... when we got our BFP for DD it didn't feel real for so long. I think it was about the 4 month mark when it felt real. And I mean 4 months after she was born!! That was about a year after the BFP...
And definitely no guilt allowed! If the roles were reversed you wouldn't want us feeling guilty, would you?

Kbudgie I didn't do any bloods today. My gp just wants me to have a scan next week then will do full bloods from there I'm guessing,
I'm not sure on how any of it works? So many questions?
I guess I've been focusing for so long on getting pregnant that its never really crossed my mind what the hell will I do if I actually fall pregnant. Lol
I guess I have plenty of time to find out hahah,
I don't know how long I'm going to be able to keep it quiet though!!!!!!
Congratulations Nic! That is such wonderful news. As a lot of the girl have said - never feel bad for getting a BFP. My fx for your scan & a healthy 9 months.
I had bt yesterday & estrogen is rising nicely (same as all of my other cycles). Another bt & scan Monday then hopefully we will know a little more as to when transfer will be. I'm hoping for around Anzac Day so Ill only need to take a day off or so. We have decided that when I took time off & rested fully for 48hours post transfer was when I get BFP so gonna try that again this time. At work I am always running around on my feet & stressed. What do the rest of you do? Do you go back to work after transfer or rest?
Beau, I always had 2 leisurely days - day of transfer and the day after. Just sat around watching movies, etc, and taking it easy. I never bothered with bedrest, just had a relaxing couple of days. I'm always stressed when it comes to my work, so I just wanted to put it out of my mind. FX the timing works nicely for you.

hey rai thanks for thinking of me. i did poas and i am considering it inconclusive at the moment. saying that, i compared it to the one i had in Dec which ended in mc and it is about the same as that one but i only got a line then after about a week after af was due. i think i am scared to great my hope up :-$

Thank you all for your kind works on the passing of my FIL. We had the funeral on Friday so it's been a hectic past week but back to routine now... Had a scan this morning, starting OPK's today and estimating transfer will be approx Saturday so i'm very excited...
Congratulations Nic! What wonderful news, wishing you all the best for an exciting 9 (well 7.5!!!) months ahead until you meet the little one :)

Depends on your hormone levels. I've had AF turn up in spite of being on progesterone. Last IUI (Feb), it took three days after I stopped the pessaries (last one was AM 16dpo before b/t and AF showed 19dpo).
Faye, I'm sorry to hear about your FIL's passing, I must have missed your post, I'm sorry hun :hug:
Emma, I'm not sure about the pessaries, I'm sure someone will help you with that. How wad your DD today? I keep thinking of her, poor little poppet :(
Emma, pessaries don't always hold off AF. It's different for every woman and can differ in every cycle.

DD is okish..... Poor poppet wants to play a little bit too exuberantly for poor mummy's liking.
Also having a **** fight with my local hospital on how long they will let my DD go, without setting her arm properly.
I have been kicking myself that I didn't just take her to the RCH.

Miss B thank you for wishing me the best with my fs appt. One more week to go!! Yay!! Im so excited. Hopefully we can get the ball rolling pretty much straight away? Or will they want DH to provide a sample first?
Kbudgie, glad you are happy with your fertility centre. I was thinking of going there as they are much cheaper than other clinics? But its a fair distance for me and melbourne ivf have not long ago opened a facility in werribee which is much closer for me.
Nic, congratulations on your pregnancy!! I agree with the other ladies, dont feel guilty!! We will all be where you are eventually :)

Ps i got my bt results back last week. All good except vitamin D levels being down so i need to take vitamin tablets for quite awhile.
Sorry for not being on much. I really need to make more of an effort.
I am waiting for my blood test & scan - hoping I need trigger tonight & that my lining has got thicker since Monday. I have just realised I was sitting here exactly one year ago waiting for blood test last year. I so need this fet to be a BFP & for it not to end in mc. The things we have to go through is just not fair!

Hi ladies. Thought I would check in. Had a scan this morning and all looks good so far. She said I'm measuring at 6 weeks and 2 days! So I guess that's what I go by, not from dates????
I'm still in complete shock!

Oh juniper I have my fx for those ovaries of yours to produce some fine eggs.
My lining is not behaving :( it's the thinnest it's ever been) & it took forever for the nurses to get a pic that they could measure. Looks like more progynova for me. Will get results from bt this afternoon & know more then.
