PREGNYL 1500 iu......I missed it!!!!

After the insemination last Friday I was given the dates for my PREGNYL 1500 x 2 shots and STUPID STUPID me has written the dates in my diary wrong. So I have missed the first one I was meant to do on the 28th. I will do it today but I am 2 days late.......have I just stuffed up the whole cycle??

I rang the clinic. Nurse said try not to stress, its not the best but just do it today. She said in some countries they don't even have these injection so just think of that. But she still kept saying its not the best which made me cry abit

I have done abit of research over the last couple of days and I am not worried at all that I was late for the shot. It will not be the deciding factor as to whether or not this cycle will work. Silly nurse making me worry!!! Now back to my 3 week wait........

i just saw this and I'm sorry I didn't reply sooner to put your mind at ease.

okay, unless you have an obvious luteal phase defect, like low progesterone, being late with a pregnyl shot shouldn't have any impact on the success of your cycle (which you now already know) The luteal support is largely precautionary.

My lutal phase is one thing I can say is fine (as far as I know!!!!). Had my progesterone blood test today so I will know results on Monday.

Just wanted to add my 2 cents as well....my friend just did IUI and didn't have the Pregnyl shots afterwards and she got pregnant and is due in December
