Hi All,
Looks like there's been a lot if exciting news going on - congrats to you all!
Afm it's CD10, first round of IVF, had a scan today and 13 little follicles, Doc said she was "delighted". Me well I am crapping myself! Had a bit of a tear, just a bit overwhelmed and emotional!
Friday is the day. Fingers crossed for good news.

Hi girls thanks for thinking of me today. HCG today was 815. FS is happy with that. He said based on my numbers he is pretty certain only one of our embryos has stuck. Spreading lots of baby dust around for everyone Xx
Jasmine, great news! Did the scan go okay? Any news on the cysts? And be sure to let me know when you're ready to move to the BFP section of the list!!

After seeing fs yesterday we are doing one more round of Clomid and adding a lil prednisone into the mix this time. And then ivf in October if needed ...
Waiting for CD 1 now lol. Then off on holiday to Thailand :D... So, ha ha I can tick going on holiday off the "ttc list"

No tears this time. They just won't fall. I knew it wouldn't work. DH says that those who make it happen seem to be the ones who don't give up. But sometimes I wonder how long do you do this before you just can't do it anymore.
I just don't know what's wrong with me. Other fat people get pregnant. I guess I am back on the weight loss band wagon for a while.
i'm so so sorry myturn its not fair, yes I agree other fat people get pg I fell this time at my fattest which trust me is fat but I see lots of other hugh women

I'm sorry myturn :hug: Wish this wasn't happening again. So not fair. Speaking of 'bigger' people getting pg, there is a lady in my old playgroup and she is very very big, I saw her through a window once and thought she looked even bigger that when I last saw her. Turns out she is 3 weeks off giving birth (my neighbour told me as she's still taking her LO to the playgroup). So there lol. You are by no means big hun, you should see this lady :o I think it's a matter of finding that golden embie. We'll keep going hun, I think we'll know when enough is enough xoxox
So sorry to hear that myturn, I hope your fs has some new ideas for you. Having something else to focus on like diet and exercise may if nothing else help the time past faster till your next try, and hopefully in the process make you feel better too. Be kind to yourself.
I don't think it's weight Myturn. There are lots of people bigger than us who get UTD. I wish I did know what the answer was though - for both of us :(
I think losing weight is a good thing regardless, and it does help get your head away from TTC and in a more positive space.

I am sure being a bigger lady has anything to do with it. I know of a few people who have fallen pregnant and they are a lot bigger than me, and I consider myself quite big at 110kg

MyTurn- Sending you the worlds biggest hug.. It's so not fair. I really hope the FS has some answers for you next week. Hang in there honey, I know the constant let down is heartbreaking but one of those little friaries could be the 'perfect one' Xx

AFM- BT this morning at 21 dpo and HCG was 1780. Had a scan to check on my cysts. Largest cyst is now down from 9.5cm to 5.5cm which I'm happy about.... And scan also showed one perfect little gestational sac which apparently looked exactly how it should. Juniper can you please move me into BFP.
Feeling very emotional right now.. Seeing my little snowflake on the scan has made it feel 'real'. I'm feeling very blessed :heartbeat:

myturn, like some above, I'm in the 3-digit range for weight as well and, even in that range, if it's contributing to my IF, it's like a raindrop contributing to an ocean... If you were "unexplained", maybe you'd take a close look at it being a suspect, but you'd probably be seeing hormone imbalances and other obvious signs of the weight playing a part... I have one friend who probably was only IF because of her weight and there were clear signs suggesting that was the case - she simply didn't respond to the FSH injections (after a full month of daily FSH injections she had no follicles over 14mm) and had long annov cycles even though she didn't have PCOS - she lost weight and got pg without medical assistance (twice!) and when she got her first BFP she was still up around 120kg (after losing weight). If losing weight will make you feel better, then, by all means, work on it, but do it for yourself, but don't use your weight to blame yourself for your BFN. The BFN is not your fault, hun. You did all you could and were unlucky; you did nothing wrong.
As for how long to do this, that's different for everyone. At some point, the pain of continuing outweighs the pain of stopping... Until then, we keep putting one foot in front of the other and soldiering on...

Sounds like these ladies know what they're talking about myturn and like Juniper said don't blame yourself, you are doing your best and nothing wrong. Be kind to yourself x
