Ps google was not much help!
oh really TL darn it that is no good ... what good is it if it cannot provide us with the information we so desire !!! does your dr have any more info on it he can give you ???
Yeah he does he is sending some out but like the typical demanding Scorpio I am I want it now!
Hi everyone.
Welcome back BW.
TL, sorry about the news, hopefully the higher dose helps get a few more follies up for you. Fingers crossed for a good outcome, the girls that do get lower numbers seem to have better fertilization rates and my FS said we want quality over quantity.
HappyMel congrats on the twins, how are you feeling??
FloJo, hi and congrats in a few weeks you may be feeling lots. That is good levels, try and enjoy this time soon enough the symptoms will arrive. AF feeling like she is going to arrive, is exactly how you should be feeling and over the next few weeks you will notice lots of niggley and some really OUCHIE pains. Have you visited the pregnancy threads? It may be worth going there to talk with girls who are going through the same thing. Good luck.
hi all, you have all been very busy in here lately!
welcome back BW, glad to hear you are slowly on the mend. dellydo, i hope you ok hun.
carla, vicki, so sorry ladies :(
melsta, BB, BG good luck with your TWW
mon, you are being very quiet so i guess you are really busy. hun i hope all is going well for you this cycle. grow follies grow!
shannon, GL hun.
flojo, sounds positive to me, not everyone seems to have symptoms straight away. check out missy's blog as she didn't and is now sick as with M/S.
hi everyone else.
not much happening IRL with me, just lots of planning for IVF next year. my sister is a back up egg donor but we may give a final 5th stim a go while we get the donor stuff all lined up. depends on whether i can get a FS in time as mine has quit/sacked/no longer being a FS??? quite sudden and i am so glad i was through my last cycle when it happened.
xx
Hey Dusty when are you planning for next year?
hi TL, probably end of jan early feb if my natural cycles go to plan in the meantime. my sister is probably lined up for march/april. all very flexible our end. i posted in your blog re your levels. xx
yes thanks sweet getting better about it now.
I think it was a case of what else can go wrong self pitty
Glad DH won't have to put up with the sooky female
Hi Dusty. BG mentioned your interest in David while I was in hospital, and I've just been checking back over the last thread to see where everyone's at. I'd have to say that she's described my feelings about him very accurately. He's blunt - doesn't beat around the bush with anything and will call a spade a bloody shovel if he must! He treats things aggressively - no messing about, it's once again straight to the point and no time wasting. However, he does focus on the aspects that many others seem to ignore. He's big on getting healthy and staying healthy while you're undergoing treatment and if you're overweight he will put you on a diet and exercise program, and he will check up on you with it. If you're not coping with the emotional sides of things, he'll call a halt to treatment and force you to get yourself in order first... he's done all of these things to me, and I have to admit that they are necessary. He can be the tough butt-kicker when needed, but can also be incredibly supportive and sensitive when needed also. I've had surgery with him twice - first time for a D&C and the second time for EPU - both times I was really freaked out about the anaesthetic and he held my hand the whole time they were dealing with the canula and putting me under. With the D&C I even got a kiss on the forehead because I was such a mess and so upset... He doesn't give false hope (and this has been confirmed by other people I have encountered who have been treated by him), which is something I feel is absolutely vitally important in this game!
I will admit that there are times I want to kick him, others when I could just simply hug him... He's an interesting doctor to work with, and I really wouldn't change to anyone else! DH loves him, they seem to have a very similar sense of humour and share an interest in all things (particularly TV series) sci-fi. He's also a huge AFL fan, particularly following west coast... you can guarantee a fantastic appointment with him if his team won over the weekend!
Anyway... if there's any more you want to know, feel free to PM me. I find NGF's charges to be quite reasonable (particulary in comparison to SIVF!), and the nurses there are simply wonderful! I cried all over three of them in the process of getting through this stim cycle and they organised medical certificates for work when I wasn't coping, they forced the day surgery to open on a day they don't normally work to get me (and another woman) through EPU at the right stage, and the scientists rang me every single day after EPU through to day 6 when the last of my good embryos went into the freezer. I even had a phone call from one of the nurses to check on me when she heard I landed in hospital - this was the one who threatened to come and get me and take me herself if I was as stubborn and pig-headed about it as last time! Best thing... the way they work with the day hospital, you wake up from EPU with a nice, friendly wheat pack... bliss!
Excuse all the babble... I do think VERY highly of my FS, my clinic, the nurses... everyone I've encountered there has been brilliant (even the receptionist I cried to over the phone when we lost Caterpillar).
BW
Hey Dusty
Have you been having some priblems with your natural cycle.??
My FET was cancelled today due to not ovulating. Waiing for specialist to call back and tell me the next step whether it is this month again or January..or drugs again.
Hey Melsta baby - how is the wait going?? keeping busy?
wow BW you read my mind! i was going to ask you once you were feeling better. thanks so much hun and BG for passing it on. my ex FS really likes David too. its a big decision for me leading into my possible final stim cycle but i will be having a chat with my ex FS next week to sort out who to hand over to. i now have a heap more inside info thanks to you :) i also am really glad of the info on the clinic itself as supportive staff make this journey just that much more bearable.
carla, not really, just after a stim my cycle takes a bit longer to get into a natural rhythm which means i can't really predict when we will be able to start a stim. it might have caused me some worry if we were doing a FET but we have never been lucky enough to get any frosties (yet!). i so hope the next one works for you hun. it is so disappointing after all the build up.
Hey BW - your FS sounds great - mine is similar - no rubbish just get on with it. It's great to have you back honey.
TL - Ovarian resistance sounds like some sort of wayward faction that is rising up against oppressors. Oh Tigs - I hope you find some answers out.
Brownbug - Hey sweet - how is the wait?? I have all things crossed!
Dellydoo, your description of ovarian resistance has given me a much needed giggle today, thank you!
Just feeling really sad and lonely and depressed today. I'm sick of being sick, frustrated by the limitations on what I can physically do. I guess I had this image in my head that when they let me out of hospital I'd be well again... nope, still a lot of recovering to do at home!
BW
Hey Dellydoo,
Feeling a bit tired and down tonight. Hopefully that is not AF coming. She has stayed away this long, surely she couldn't be mean enough to come the day before the BT!
BW, so sorry you are not feeling well. It sounds like you have been through so much over the last few days, my heart goes out to you. I really hope you start to heal up soon!
HI Everyone!
Hope you all had good days.
BW - glad to see you back on deck & recovering.
Vicky - sorry you had to cancel this time. Hopefully it means you will be one step closer for next time.
Brissie Girls - I can do Saturday 15th, but not Sunday 16th (DH Birthday), but if the rest of you match up, I will just catch up another time.
Anxious day today, took last OCP on 30th & have been waiting for AF. She arrived today & so I told my Nurse, but now we may be too close to their close dates to proceed with FET. So, I have to start Progynova tommorrow as per plan, but will hear more before Friday as to the rest of the cycle. Bit of a bugger, but what can you do?! The thing that is playing on my mind (& this might sound selfish) is that when we set out on this journey we said we would give it till Xmas 07. So now I am confused as we have 6 Embies in the freezer, so do I use those to give me the best chance or do I stick to my plan & move on with life in other ways? So confusing, but I am sure the answer will come to me in some format. I very much believe that if something is meant to happen, it will. Anyway, that's my selfish dribble for the minute.
Take care girls whatever you are up to & I'll speak to you all tommorrow.
New thread time, trendsetters.
