Melsta..thanks for that. I know that is what I thought but one of the nurses told me yesterday that it looks like we are going to have to cancel as it will be too late to transfer when I eventually 'o'...then I get a phonecall from the clinic that afternoon saying to come in. so the way i see it is that would they just waiti till I do ovulate then do it or if I dont ovulate welll then thats when we say to cancel???? Im confused I cant see the problem in waiting till I eventually ovulate, afterall isnt that what we are doing anyway????? Sometime the nurses ther really get me abgry with their'whatever' attitude. I am paying them soooooooooooooo much money and they treat me sometimes like Im just a number!!! Anyone else have that problem.????

Carla - oh hun you sound so stressed and at your wits end ... is there any other nurses you can speak to instead of the ones giving you this whatever attitude ?? Maybe there are others who can explain things a little more ... if you have email contact with them why dont you email them and ask them to explain the process and why you have to wait and why it will be cancelled, sometimes having it explained in text helps a bit more and allows them to explain it better (then you dont have to actually speak to them either!) Our nurses are SIVF are really good so I cant fault mine but I can completely understand how frustrating this is for you hun ... you poor thing as if the wait isnt bad enough then you have to had power trip nurses into the mix !!! I think some of them think they are the specialists and not the Dr's themselves lol !!!

I have been MIA a little from this thread lately, i was a little down and didn't want to post in here unless i had the positivity to be supportive of those of you just starting out :) fortunately now i actually have some hormones in my system im feeling heaps better so am back to cheer loudly for everyone!

Well i am upto day 5 of injections on my 4th IVF/ICSI cycle. Feeling a little tired and tender in the ovaries so hopefully a good sign :) we see the FS on Friday for a scan!

Feng shui is good back to my practioner roots and not a neurotic mess about it all now DH is still grumpy we paid for someone with less knowledge than me to have a look at the place. Oh well I needed reassurance. I am doing a few reports for friends as Chrissy pressies at the moment and I think that has really allowed me to focus.

Melsta.....Im not sure whether there is an email address I can write to them abut all this. I ma going in tomorrow for that other scan and bloods so I have a list of things I am going to be asking. They made me wait 40 minutes yesterday WHEN NO ONE was even in there.....they were fluffing around and here I am waiting to go to my scan (whcih made me wait 50 minutes) and running late for work and thats what I get. I actually dont care if they make me wait tomorrow as I am going to be in there for a while asking EVERYTHING.

Shannon - glad that you are feeling better hun !! I have 9 days to go and my b/t is scheduled for the 12th Dec ... exactly 12 days before xmas !!! So hoping it is a +ve ... What injections are you on hun ....
TL - wow those plans sound like a beautiful xmas gift - you are lucky to have the talent to be involved in such a beautiful process ... Youch on your poor arm !!! Hope that doesnt happen every time you need to have a b/t ... what are they looking for in the baseline levels ??
Carla - you go for it hun and dont stop until you have ALL and I mean ALL the answers you need !! I cannot believe that they made you wait that long even with no one there, my blood would have been boiling to the point I had steam coming out of my ears if it was me lolol .... SIVF are really good in the morning getting ppl in and out as they know so many ppl have to get to work on time .. in the words of antz pantz lol "sick em rex" ..... lolol dont know if it really works but the saying just popped into my head then and now I cant get rid of it lol ....

I am feeling ok, had lots of twinges yesterday and last night but not as many today ... so hopefully Mini Me has embedded ( I keep going to say he ?? ) anyways yes feeling ok, just patiently waiting out the next 9 days esp since we are not testing before the b/t either .... I have to find strength to do that but know I will ... not sure about signs as not sure how early they would appear IYKWIM ????

Slyder - I had a friend that smoked all the way through pregnancy and drank like a fish - it's so hard to sit back and do "live and let live" when you know it is wrong. My Mum would always say - it's dumb to walk backwards up stairs naked on broken glass - but you cannot make laws against everything
TL - Weekend would be lovely - I am really central so can meet anywhere.

Not much to report except I am in rude health and DP ungraciously said "are you less bloated today" when I strutted around the room this morning - OUTRAGEOUS. So I threatened to give his guys bits another pat and he screamed.
Am still watching out and need to ring FS later to let her know how I am feeling.

TL - he is doing good (OMG I always write he) woops I should say he/she is good lolol ... I had heaps of twinges and odd sensations yesterday but nothing since last night ... not even a flutter .. so not sure what is happening there but the nurse assures me all is ok ...
How is the fitness regime going? I cannot wait to get started walking again esp now all the xmas lights are on in the surrounding streets makes the view so much more worthwhile when you can be spirited by the season !!

Dellydoo, you have no idea how relieved I am to hear that you're OK! BG gave me the news of your E2 levels and the freeze all while I was in hospital, and I've been worrying ever since! I'm such a stress head! But, having been there before with OHSS, I know it's not something to mess about with. Take care, rest well...
Well... I'm home! I'm still very tired and wobbly and keep having to remind myself to drink heaps... you get so used to being on the drip and not needing to as much, then you focus on drinking heaps while off the drip so you can go home... and then you forget!
Struggling to catch up with everything after a week - I'll get there eventually!

BW- have been reading how everything has been going. So happy that you are home, and getting better :) I hope the stay in hospital was ok and they took good care of you. It was prob the best place to be. Good luck with the embies, i know it may sound too soon, but how long before they will let you do a FET??? Fingers crossed.

Mel, it sounds odd, but it's one of the advantages of having been here before. I know my FS will insist on a break cycle, so it will be January before we can do a FET. Even if I manage to convince him to let me do a FET straight away, the ovulation induction method we use has me all too likely to time things for transfer to be Christmas Day. If I induce ovulation for our break cycle, transfer is all too likely to land on the first day of school... So now that AF is here, I'll start the pill soon, have AF just after Christmas and get lined up for a FET in mid-January.
