Mel - That sounds exciting! What do you think? What does your other half think of it?
We're both over the moon at this possibility re-opening up. We would much rather have children the natural way rather than the IVF way...and as far as we are aware, hubby's vasectomy is the only thing stopping us from doing it the natural way.

When the doc told filled us in on everything Hubby immediately said yes to re-looking at the reversal path as "it's much more fun making babies the old fashioned way!" LOL

Mel - thats awesome news ... the old fashioned way is so much better and cheaper lol

furbabies - any news, hoping they are all blastys

    me4ever - good luck!

rai - I think we are all in the weightloss section.. I know i need to drop about 15kg to feel "better" about myself 4 of those kg crept on when I started last november and fell pregnant. My addiction to baking doesn't help, but it seems to be my therapy at the moment.

AFM - CD 31.... come ON AF! I usually run like clock work but the d&c and boobie leakage has stuffed me around. Hubby found $400 extra in one of our accounts so we can pay off some of our money owing to our FS this week. Finally and what a PAIN that was. After having a fentons done during egg collection a few months ago then being told we cant DTD for 6 weeks, then falling pregnant, followed by me not wanting hubby to come near me, then the d&c.. we still really should have waited another 2 weeks.... but no matter I still think I would have been in glorious amount of uncomfy pain as what seems to be the area that was sutured sort of split open. Not sure if its entirely normal, but I guess not - booked back in to see the FS, its never ending, I swear they must think I am a hypochondriac.

Hello ladies. Not much going on my end. Have an appointment with FS tomorrow, I guess we will find out if we can start ivf now.
YAY to me I've lost 10kg so he should be happy with that? Shouldn't he?
Oh and we sold our house today, not for what we wanted, but its an extra stress off us now, and help a lot financially too double bonus!
So fingers crossed were all good to start.
juniper could you add me to the list as cd 1

Thank you and fingers crossed to you all.

Furbabies - fingers crossed this is it for you! Hopefully the first BFP of February!

Nic - Well done , 10 kilos is a lot! And your house is sold, that's awesome. Do you have anywhere to move to?

Krikkit - thanks! Bring on the AF, hoping it isn't far off!

Mel - It would be exciting to be able to try naturally! It is indeed more fun! Fingers crossed it's possible to do the reversal!

AFM - had another blood test and scan today and lining is looking good, folicle is still on the small side, so ovulation seems to be still a few days away. Next blood test on Friday. Hopefully they'll be able to tell me when to do the trigger injection!

Hi everyone a quick question: I will be starting injectables as soon
as AF arrives hopefully tomorrow or the next day. I have never had
injectables before except for triggers what do I have to do and how many
times a day do you have to inject yourself? Does it hurt? There is lots of fat
For the needle to get through lol. The fs has said cause I respond so well to clomid
she is going to give me a low dose.

rai, if you've done the triggers before, the FSH should be no problem. You usually get them as a pen-type device, which is very easy to use, and the needles are very fine, so they don't hurt much at all! It will be one injection per day. I'm very big and the extra fat actually makes it easier, so don't worry about that. FX it works well for you and you don't over-respond.

I hate needles too Rai - have had a phobia of them since I was a kid and these ones really haven't bothered me at all.

I'm a complete needle-phobe too! As a teen, I remember lining up at school for the rubella shot. As soon as my class was called in, I started puking, just simply at the thought of having to go into that room and have a needle! Trust me, if I can do these, anyone can!

You sound just like me Juniper, I was too much of a wuss to even get my rubella shot! My mum didn't make me get it. I had a panic attack the first time I went for a blood test and ran out of the place. I then discovered emla patches and have used them for blood tests ever since.

I've always had the same reaction to the sight of blood too, so you can imagine blood tests are particularly fun! It wasn't until my 30s (when we started seeing an FS) that I could get through a b/t without puking after. And that was when I lay down to get it done! I managed okay for a couple of years at the clinic and then they got rid of the beds so I had to sit up! I just about had a panic attack the first time! I've come a long way though. I can sit up just fine now (isn't necessity amazing?) and only have a problem if they take a lot of vials.

The things we have to go through hey, and yes necessity is amazing. It's surprising how strong we can be when we want something so badly...
