Hello everyone
I hope you are all well. Its so nice to be in 2009 I hope this year brings a record number of BFPs ;)
Sara69- I know how hard and devastating it is when our bodies dont respond the way we'd like them to. I will keep fingers crossed for your ET and sending you lots of :stickyvibesgirl:
Jen34- a big congratulations for your BFP. Wishing you a H & H pg
Wishingbaby- GL with your cycle. Hope it brings you success
Nikki- GL with your FS appt next week. Hopefully he'll set you on a path to your BFP
Mollygirl- Good luck at your new/old FS, he sound lovely. Your positive outlook is so nice to read
Toby- Good luck with your IUI. Sending you heaps of :stickyvibesboy: As others have mentioned, endo is diagnosed through a laparoscopy
Meredith- GL with your antagonist cycle :crossfingers:
Aleenta- GL with your FET :stickyvibesboy:
Saph- Good luck with your IUI. I'll have my fingers crossed for you. Yay for the new piano!!!
BDT- GL with your BT on the 16th and :crossfingers: for a few frosties aswell. Hope you have success!
Bella Bella- Hello and welcome! Good luck with your FS appt on Mon. Hope this is your year
JBM- Hello and best of luck with your march FET. Heres to your BFP!!!
Wouldloveabubba- it was suggested that we do icsi when we did our flare as DP and I have severe MF issues- probs with count, motility and morphology. Not sure if its a common occurance where there aren't probs with partners swimmers although I have heard of it being used to improve fertilization rates. I would just call your FS and clarify. HTH. Good luck with your flare cycle. Hope it brings you a BFP!
AFM- I am patiently awaiting AF early Feb so I can start a flare cycle. In the meantime I am just trying to take good care of myself, go back to acupuncture, eat well, stress less etc so I'm in the best place possible (physically and emotionally) for when we do start the next cycle. I really want this year to be the one for us
Take care everyone
BTW- Im thinking of starting In Liven by MiVitality. Are you ladies familiar with it? Do you think it is of benefit when ttc? TIA

Hi Girls
I'm still lurking around, and thought I would drop in and say :hello:.
JBM & Meredith : Good to see you girls back in here trying for your 2009 BFP. Hopefully the journey together this time is the one that is successful.
BDT: Thanks for the welcome back and congrats on your transfer. for a strong BFP for you.
Everyone else, hope you are all doing well and not going insane. Hopefully we will all be out of this thread soon and joining the PG thread soon.
AFM: Well today is day 4 after stopping provera. It normally only takes 2 days for AF to arrive, although the clininc has told me it can take up to 5 days. AHHHH, I just want her to arrive so I can get onto this cycle, not just because I feel I need to keep going to get that BFP... But on a financial side of things is that my Health Insurance year starts again on the 3rd of Feb, so if I miss the FET before that date then I have the Safety Net shortfall + my Health Insurance excess to pay. And seeing as I am not working anymore and our house settlement is next Friday (16th) as much as we want our dreamed for baby I also have to look at the practical side and try to minimise the cost as much as possible.
Wouldn't it be nice to not have to just worry about our treatment etc without having to deal with the financial side as well. I've had to make a promise to myself that no more spending is allowed unless it is treatment related or necessary for the house.... Sorry for my rant......

Hi girls,
Thanks for all your good wishes. No personals today, will catch up later, still very exhausted from EPU. Just sending good luck to my cycle buddies Baby Dreamsime, Saph and Toby - Also much thanks to Dutchie for your support, it really helps.
As expected there were three mature eggs, so please keep fingers crossed for good fertilisation and growing so that I get a ET.
Meanwhile was wondering if you have any tips about things I can do to raise my chances of the little embie to stick in case I am really lucky and have a transfer.
Lots of sticky vibes and babydust to all of you.
Sara
-
Sara - I am so glad you got to EPU, I also are moving along have oen follie at 14mm today and must be getting close to IUI as daily bloods. Hope you recover soon and :crossfingers: for ET grow eggies grow.
-
Hi Girls,
Toby: hope insemination went well, keep us up-to-date, thinking of you.
Saph: 14mm sounds very good, glad things are moving along - do you already have a date, sounds like it could be early next week?
Kelly: Hope AF arrives soon. Just wondering is there a chance your clinic could pre-date your bill - in case of the Medicare safety net my clinic dates the whole cycle from start of FSH.
JBM: Thanks for supporting us, hope you're feeling okay. Not puttign on any weight over christmas is really great, it's so hard to do in the silly season.
Dutchie: you sound like you're doing all the right things, well done. Can't help with the Liven I am on Blackmores preconception vitamins plus an extra dose of CO10Q.
Aleenta: Good luck for you. I've been on Gonal F for my first downregulated cycle, unfortunately didn't have any effect which was why the cycle was cancelled. On 300mg of Provera this time which is quite a high dose with things progressing well and no side-effects. Only when I was on 375 Gonal F dose I had a headache but it could have been sinus. Someone on BB told me it's better to take them at night so that's what I did and it seemed to work for me.
Meredith: Good luck with your cycle
Bella-Bella: Good luck for your appointment.
:hello: Mollygirl & Mrs M
Excellent news from me, all my three eggies have fertilized, really exited, thinking I may after all now be in with a chance - a bit afraid that all my hope will be dashed on Monday when i get Day 3 results but trying to stay as relaxed as possible. really hoping that I get one blastie on Day 5, then all depends on how it tests since I can only use 50% of mine. Still cramping a bit and trying to take things easy. Had Acupuncture this morning which helped.
A great weekend to all of you.

Sara69 - Go little eggies!!! They sound like 3 little champs!!!
Saph - Hope everything goes well with you IUI cycle
KellyD - I am always 5 or 6 days after I stop Provera and they tell me that is still fairly normal.
Dutchie - I am also waiting for AF so that we can kick things off again. I am also focussing on being healthy, happy and stress free in the lead up. Good luck with your next cycle.
JBM - Good luck with the weight loss leading up to March. I recently bought the WII Fit thinking it was just agame but actually get quite a good work out from it - food for thought!
Aleenta - How is the Provera going? What day are you up to?
Baby Dreamtime - Thanks again for the chat and all of the advice. My poor FS is not going to know what hit him when I walk in armed with all the new info and tests i want to do. I actually realised today how unproactive i have been during all my cycles and I feel like its time to take charge and ask more questions.
AFM - just waiting for my embies to be transfered from Monash to new clinic then we will be starting FET when AF arrives. If there is no sign of her in another week I will start Provera ( I am currently day 36 but thats not unusual for me - can sometimes go 3 months without AF)
-
Hey Baby Dreamtime - forgot to mention that i was getting distinct twin vibes today !!!
-
Ooh, busy in here. Going to have to be vigilant to try and keep up with you all.
Aleenta - hoping AF comes soon. Have you stopped provera yet? Usually takes 2 days after last tabs for me but as some girls have mentioned, it can take 5-6.
Saph - hoping that follie is growing nicely. Don't worry about IUI. It certainly isn't any worse than pap smear and with a much more exciting goal
BDT - hoping those embies are going to stick it for the long haul. Some frosties would be nice too eh?
JBM - nice to see you in here even though you are not cycling. Hope your health kick does the trick for success in March
Dutchie - hope your health kick helps out too
Kelly - darn AF. Turns up unwanted and then when you really need her..... keeps you waiting. I am expecting mine by Tues so hopefully we will be cycle buddies. BTW, are you doing anything different this cycle? I know you were going to ask FS about implantation issues etc.
Money... ah yes... it is the unwanted stressor in the whole IVF process. I am barely working either and really feel the pressure to just get pg so it doesn't cost anymore. not how it should be at all but your right, there are some practicalities that can't be ignored. Mind you, I would eat baked beans for a month or sell stuff before I gave up on the baby dream
Sara - great news about your 3 embis. Praying one of them is THE one.You can't change what they are going to do now so just focus on helping your body be in a prime state to incubate!
AFM - took my last provera today so praying AF does as she is told and arrives on Tues. just want to get this ball rolling
-
Hi Meredith - sorry didn't realise you were another Provera buddy!!! Hope you get AF as expected on tuesday and that you can start your next cycle as planned. I have a very good feeling about the start of this year for a lot of us!!!!
-
Hi girls, it's been a while, I have been lurking but been very slack whilst doing this time consuming uni course.
Wow, I've missed a bit in here!
Meredith - Bring on AF!
Mollygirl - sounds exciting getting back with your old FS! he sounds as determined as you to get this happening, that's great.
Sara - Fingers crossed for your 3 embies, that is great news. when do you hear how they are going again? Grow, grow, grow!
KellyD - bring on AF!
JBM - Great to see you, and best of luck for your FET???March???
MrsM - Hi! Good luck on the weight loss, it is hard, just take it day by day.
Dutchie - Good luck with your flare cycle. I haven't used In Liven, but there is a thread on here somewhere ... think it is in the health and fitness section.
Baby dreamtime - I have everything crossed for you
Bella-Bella = GL at the FS
SAph - GL with the IUI
Aleenta - Best of luck for your new approach
If I have missed anyone, hello to you!
AFM: I am on my flare cycle, currently day 4. So day 3 of a double dose of Puregon (400) to make sure it works this time!!!! I feel nervous after last month's cancelled cycle. :o
I'm really hoping that this is out turn.
-
Neptune :We are cycle buddies : I wasnt sure if anyone had started early like me .. I am day 6 of a Flare Cycle - my scan is the 15th .. I am on Gonal F - I dont have the same pains in my ovaries as with the Puregon, so I hope everything is going ok ..
-
Hey Wouldloveabubba, that's great! My scan is on Friday the 16th. Fingers crossed for both of us. ARe you on the Synarel too?
-
Neptune : I am on the Syneral , last cycle was an antagonist, so for me, the syneral, has taken a little while to get used to .. do you have accu ? and if so, what days will you have it ?
-
I will definitely be having on the day of transfer (pre and post) but I will also be trying to book in for this week. My acupuncturist is on leave though for this week, so I'll have to see her side kick. What about you?
-
I havent had acc before, I am going to book in for this week, and then the week after, the acc I saw, said I needed to do it for while before it benefit's my ttc??? I havent managed to do that, so hopefully the initial session this week, and one or two next week will be sufficiant ..
Are you having it twice on the day of transfer ? How long before and after will you have it (time wise) ?
-
Hi Wouldloveabubba
I will try to book it sort of straight before, and straight after. Last time it wasn't possible because I had to get to the city for the accu, which was a pain. This time I have found a fertility acupuncturist in the same suburb as my ET which is very lucky. Basically, if I didn't have it in close proximity, I won't have it at all. Last time I got sooooo stressed trying to get in and out of the city, that I think that I missed the whole 'relax' thing of the acu, IFKWIM??? I'm really not sure what difference it makes, but it can't hurt, and if you can make it relaxing for yourself, then go for it.
