Welcome in joski, nice to see you again but sorry it's in another TTC group. Glad you have some medical answers for what's been going on, and I hope helping that issue will help with TTC. I am also gluten free and while challenging initially it becomes routine pretty quick.

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception January 2014

The list seems shorter than previously. This is a good thing!!
All we are waiting on is my getting a job which means the bank will lend us more money to pay off our debt which means I can the put a fet on our credit card! I'm really really hoping this all happens in the next cycle, so we can start. My car had to get a pink slip today, so was stuck in town without a car all day, I may or may not have gone to baby shops to look at things. All we actually need is a car seat, but it's going to be tricky getting one to fit in my car.
I also may or may not have pushed my gut out to make it look like I was pg so as not to seem like a crazy woman..

The only thing I remember about syneral was the bad taste afterwards. And hot flushes, but that was a combination of everything.
    Gl starting your cycle Emma!

    Welcome Kel08!

When I follow the link to the TWW thread from the list it takes me to a thread about a Low Papp A Result from 2005? Anyone else get this or is it just me? Maybe because I'm using the app on my iThings?

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception January 2014

Hi Ladies, hope everyone is having a good start to the new year!

I see we have some new Ladies on the forum, a very BIG WELCOME though I hope you are not with us long......in other words hope you get a BFP soon

I have had a lovely festive break, drank a few too many wines and ate a bit too much but since we are taking a break I thought I should take advantage of it and just relax and enjoy. I have started the year off on a good note with going back to the gym doing 3 classes a week fingers crossed I stick at it. We will be doing a FET cycle in Feb which is exciting. Last year I really thought that 2013 was going to be OUR year for a BFP but sadly I was wrong so I'm having no feelings this year, not going to try read in to anything instead I am going to just go with the flow and see what delight the universe sends our way

All the best to everyone I really mean that from the bottom of my heart and soul!! Wishing you all a very wonderful year filled with lots of happiness, love and laughter and good health and hope we all get a BFP

    Have a fab day

TT are you a trekkie fan?

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception January 2014

Hello hello to one and all and Happy New Year!

Sorry for going M.I.A, things towards to end of the year got a little crazy socially and well, there has been a lot on my mind. DH and I have officially started our first stimulated cycle using ICSI. I am on daily Puregon injections [125iui] and have my scan today to see how things are going. Currently CD8.
Fortunately my side affects from the Puregon have been minimal. Minor bruising following a couple of the injections, and about 12 hrs+ after I get a minor headache. Given that I was expecting to be far worse emotionally, I am rather relieved, (as is DH haha).

In order to preserve my sanity, I am telling myself the best outcome for us would be to have embryos to freeze following collection. I don't even want to entertain the thought of our very first cycle resulting in a BFP. I am trying my best to take this journey one day at a time. Not the easiest of tasks for me, I am a planner. I am learning to live in the now and accept that for us, our baby journey is not something I can plan and control.

Welcome Kel08, good luck on your IVF journey.
Emma09, hope you're feeling better. How is your treatment going?
Joski, my fingers are crossed for you in your TWW.

I hope everyones 2014 is filled with love, light and laughter.
