Rols - Can you believe the 3 in 1 rule? I nearly fell off the chair!! Rules are meant to be broken arent they hehehehe! Yeah, Yeah, Im the Miss Goody Two Shoes that has to keep with the rules. Hope you all can break it and get better odds to prove those statistics wrong!
Kotare - Thanks for the confidence build! Your cycle seems so similar. It more or less aligns with Rols rule; for every 3 embies, 1's a goody. Thx for sharing.

Traceylee - YAY for your 4 blasties I like your attitude of concentrating on the ones you've got, I will definately remember that in a few months time.
Lou - OMG at your 12 blasties! Hope you don't have to wait too long for transfer. Our accommodation thing.. we're not really remote, but the first FS we saw doesnt want to refer us onto the closer clinic, he said "that guy at that clinic" does 50 cases a year, whereas the FS he is referring us onto does 500 per year. We were told that we would have to get to Brisbane the day before EPU by FS#1, (he said we wouldn't see anyone from the clinic until I go in for EPU) but the nurse the other day said we would need to go to the clinic first, have FS#2 do a follow up u/s from FS#1 and then we will find out when we trigger, so we would have to be down there a couple of days before EPU...that's where the extra couple of days accommodation come in. Probably didn't explain that one too well either hey I'm trying to get something close by the clinic/day theatre, but it is bordering on the CBD area, so there are some nice prices there too LOL!
BG - Hope your feeling better today. Migraines suck!
Ok, onto the drinking plenty of water discussion! Our nurse told me that as soon as we start injections, she wants me drinking 2-3 ltrs a day, AND eating LOTS of protein as well. Won't that be nice on a 1000 klm car trip LOL!

We have had BIL & SIL & their 2 girls staying with us since last Friday... It was extremely full on!!!
It has absolutely killed me having BB withdrawal symptoms - I feel like I've been in another world for too long - theres too much to catch up on!!!

Me - CD 8 today - OMG My 1st full cycle on Antonias herbs was like a huge clean out of my body! Feeling great though - And positive to be starting cycle no 2!!!!

Blayz - good luck with your increased dose... I knew when my increase was working when my twinges when to symptoms that were more like pre-AF - bloating and cramps - apparently that is a good sign according to my FS!
Holly - glad to hear that you enjoyed your family visit - no dramas about the CD, I am sure it won't take long to get here! Also glad that you are feeling very positive - maybe you will catch O this month naturally?
Nic - it sounds like you will be spending quite a bit of time in Brisbane - maybe you could make into a bit of a holiday to try to take some of the pressure off? I agree with Ellie - the closer to the clinic the better for you.
Diva - what a beautiful part of the world to be living in! That must be good for keeping your stress levels down! Bummer about all of the travel and extra $$$ for your cycle though. Hopefully you won't have to do too many now that you are on track! Good luck hun.

Rols - thanks for asking. I started the synarel on Thursday and the Gonal-F injections last night. I have not missed the synarel at all, particularly the constant headaches that i get with it! Oh well, at least I shouldn't be on it very long this time on the flare cycle. I have my first scan booked for the 20th July to see how my ovaries are responding. We are so hoping that they will be responding much better than last time . What protocol is your DW on? She is so lucky that she doesn't have the spray!
Now, to those out there who have done a flare, can you tell me why I have got both a trigger shot (Ovidrel) and 3 ampules of Pregnyl? According to my MIVF book it should be one or the other? I still have the Crinone gel from the first cycle - is the Pregnyl instead of the Crinone? Oh - more stuff to learn!!
Anyway, to everyone, happy sniffing, jabbing, scanning and testing. And here's hoping that we have lots more good news in this thread! Take care all!
Chez - Just wanted to answer your question... The last 2 cycles I did I had both the Ovidrel & the 3 shots of pregnyl.
The 3 shots of pregnyl (if you have to have it after EPU) is to help make the length of your Luteal Phase longer... and give the embies a chance to implant before the uterine wall falls away too early (AF) - and you have to take the whole vial!!!
If you have to have it during the cycle (along with the Gonal F), its to help with follies - and you only have a small amount of the vial!
You still have to take the crinone as well (ew!).
If you're extra lucky like me , you get to have it both times - During the cycle and after EPU!!!
My last 2 cycles went like this (If it helps!)...
Synarel... Gonal F and Pregnyl ... Ovidrel.. EPU..Crinone..3 extra shots of pregnyl 2 days apart while still taking crinone....Then BT or AF!!!
Hopefully you don't have to have it all like me!!!!!!

DH and I are going to spend a bit of time together next week when he is home, and I am tired of other people and other things always coming up – I see hardly any of him as it is!
So we are going away for two nights – yay. Pity the weather is going to be a bit rubbish. Anyway, the upshot is I have to have my BT on Friday instead of Thursday – I can’t believe I am making myself wait an extra 24 hours – what a sucker for punishment! I have promised not to take a POAS away with me – so we can enjoy ourselves, blissfully unaware! If we get a we can always go away again in a few weeks to celebrate again!

i have crawled out of bed after being there for 3 and 1/2 days! i have NEVER been so sick in my life. even dr said there was nothing i could do but panadaol and lotsa fluids. lordy! i wouldnt wish it upon my worst enemy!!! but im alive and have crawled back from the other side of hell...
