Hi everyone,
Just been quietly stalking you... Been very busy at work and of course with wedding preparations and preparations for our trip away next month... Can't wait to go and see my family in Europe :) I think I might as well join Mrs Mac etc in the TWW, as I should have ovulated in the past couple of days. (Haven't done OPK, can't be bothered at the moment, don't really have faith in my body that it can conceive on its own). I suppose we're just trying to enjoy life and each other instead of focussing on the baby that's missing in our lives. And I'm loving the fact that I don't have to have needles or appointments all the time. I only go to acupuncture every second week at the moment. Anyhow, hope everyone is well and sending hugs to whoever needs one!
Hi all,
Emma, big hugs lovely . My advice is don't rush into a cycle hun, it's good to do one when you are most relaxed and ready. My FS keeps telling me that I shouldn't do a cycle if I'm stressed etc.
Kerbear, chin up hun  I hope your follies keep growing and growing. I know the disappointment though of just a few follicles. Hopefully you'll get some more. I also wish I could get enough eggies to have one or two frosties, it would be so nice not to do a stim every bloody time! GL in your cycle hunni xoxox
Juniper, here's hoping you'll get a natural BFP hun!
Myturn, nice of you to pop in and don't stress too much about the numbers not doubling. They are going up and that's the most important thing :)
Mrs Mac, FX for your next cycle hun! Are you doing a stim or a FET?
Hi to n2l and Vic and anyone I missed!
AFM, I have a stoopid cold, although I have been taking the cold and flu tablets religiously and so far it's been 'bearable'. I've decided to just take the CoQ10 tablets before my next cycle, which will now be in October (sigh....). Hopefully the new supplements will give my eggs the much needed boost. IF the next cycle doesn't work and we have no frosties, we'll do a cycle early next year and then I'll try the chinese herbs and maybe some more acu. We won't be taking over the new business until late October so it will give us that month to concentrate on the new cycle. Bring it on :)

Hi all-
Miss B- hope you are feeling bett this morning.... The flu is rotten!
M4e- lucky duck, away to Europe! I am so envious of you!
Kerbear- just a big  try to relax hun- I know it's hard!
AFM- still bleeding, was a little ouchy last night.
Glad I sent DD to her Nan's so I could just relax on the couch.
I had a lot of thinking time and I'm going to do another cycle straight away.
I made a list of everything that needs doing around my house, so that in e first 2 weeks of my cycle- I can concentrate on that!
I'm glad you were able to relax a little bit Emma, I find that when I have just a little bit of 'me time' away from DP and DS, I'm able to sort things out in my wee head. I'll be behind you all the way in your next cycle, I hope it brings you your BFP
Me4ever, yay to your trip overseas!! Sounds very exciting :) Where in Europe are you going? 4 years ago my partner and I went to Poland and then to Scotland to visit and meet our families, it was really great. The weather will be much better for you than it was for us, we went in March. Very bloody cold (especially in Scotland)!!!! lol.
My nose is now a wee tap, glad it's just progressing nicely. Can't wait to feel 100% again, but I can tell you, the cold and flu tablets are a God send :)
Hope everyone has a great weekend :)
Miss b hope you feel better soon. I think of I have put pressure on myself cause like u I would love frosties, stim knocks me around so much.
Emma I hope you are feeling ok today and you are not so sore. Your plan for around the house stuff in first 2 weeks sounds good.
Afm- the bloating and tenderness has kicked in well today. Feel like I do when I get AF but a bit worse. Has planned a night out at casino a month ago and no one knows we are doing this so DH is going to drink so I don't have to make excuses lol. If I didn't have a friend coming to stay and go out with us I don't think I would go, I just don't feel up to it. Hopefully bil doesn't bail cause then DH will and I don't know what to say about not drinking.
It's all so complicated sometimes it is easier to just tell them what's going on but we didn't want to this time.
Have a good weekend all xo
Me4ever- I forgot to say that I am soooo jealous of your overseas trip ;-). Glad you have been able to occupy yourself with wedding and holiday stuff, I found it a great distraction last year.
Kerbear, just tell them you have shocking period cramps and had to take strong medication that doesnt mix with alcohol.
Most people shut up at the word "period"
You know what I do to make the nosy people feel uncomfortable? I tell them I have bad period pain/constipation whatever the reason for not drinking due to medication (embarassment already ;)) and then I proceed to tell them ALL about it describing consistency, colour, etc. Really grosses them out

Larry - 7/8/12 HCG 672!!
Thanks missb and n2l I ended up telling my sisters about the ivf cycle cause I hate lying and told them to keep it a secret. When I told my friend I was feeling up to drinking she was happy to go out another night. So we aren't going out now which is good cause I am a bit sore.
I definitely loved the excuses you had, everyone always go quiet when you say period lol
Sorry I didn't have time to do personals before. I wanted to try to get the list in at my first opportunity.
kerbear, I'm glad to hear you were able to opt out of tonight. Didn't sound like you really felt up to it. I hope this means you're having a lovely, relaxing night with your feet up instead.
me4ever, I hope you have a fabulous trip! I'm so jealous! I'd love to go back to Europe. One day...
Miss.B, sorry to hear you're unwell, but glad to hear the tablets are keeping the symptoms under control. They never work for me since they changed the ingredients, so I tend to get a bit man-flu-ish.
You know, I think it was when I started being open with my managers (both men) about our TTC issues and the AF pain that they stopped requiring medical certificates for my sick leave. They didn't like getting a phone call every month saying "my period has started so I'll be off sick for 3 days" (my pain was genuinely that severe). I was eventually asked to just send them an email with the subject line "the 3 days" and nothing more... ;)
Kerbear - try not to be too down with the number of follicies, there could be a couple hiding. As long a you get good quality you may npt need more then one :crossfingers:. It totally sucks when people around you are falling pregnant. My cousins wife is almost due and I politely declined to attend her baby shower and then copped it from my Grandmother for not making an effort to go...if only she new. It totally sucks because i sure we all want to be happy when people around us are pregenant but sometimes it just hurts too much. Sorry about the bloating but that means your well on your way to making some fantastic little eggs.
Me4ever - I wish I was going on a holiday you lucky lady. Its very lonly in the TWW so I would love the company. I know what you mean about enjoying your lives, i have been having the same kind of thoughts, In fact today we went and brounght a brand new car :leap: we should get it next week and I am so excited. If i can't have a baby i may as well have things I love.
Miss B- We are doing another FET as soon as AF arrives. :crossfingers: third time lucky. I hope that cold goes away quick smart, DH has been sick all week with Manflu
Emma- hope you are feeling a little better. Your list idea is fantastic, i think i am going to steal it.
XOXO
Hi Mrs Mac- I'll come and keep you company in there ;) Wow, I'm jealous of you buying a new car ;) Enjoy driving it! I bet you are planning on some driving around to show it off once you pick it up?!
Kerbear - Don't forget to drink loads and loads (of water preferably :))! (They suggested 3 litres to me) And also have lots of protein... I enjoyed my Dutch choc Sustagen drinks :) Good excuse, anything to feel better :) - Indeed wedding and a trip is a good way to keep your mind occupied and your hands busy. Not much time to think about babies at the moment, so time goes way quicker!
Juniper - Wow you have a good understanding with your managers... Wish my supervisor was as understanding... With all this TTC stuff, next time when we start the FET I'm going to try not to tell her about it, I'll just call in sick and might visit GP for a sick note if I have to. Last time I told her about the problems with bub and the appointments I had to have and she keeps asking inappropriate questions like are we trying for a baby again, and that with all these colleagues there that I haven't told about it :$
MissB - We'll be spending most of the time in the Netherlands where my family live, my brother is getting married which is the main reason we're going, but we also have a new niece I'd love to meet (and hang out with the other little niece and nephews..). We will be going to Switzerland for 3 days, visiting a friend and her family, can't wait for that, I love Switzerland. And my DF's mum will be coming with us as well and she wants to go to a war memorial in the north of France, so hopefully we're going to be able to drive there in a day and back. But mostly it will be spending time with family and friends in Holland.
I hope you enjoyed your outing to the casino, probably once you're there you will enjoy your self more than you would have imagined?!
Emma - How are you today? Is the bleeding and pain easing off a bit? Nice to have a list of things to do to fill your mind and days leading up to the FET. I think it's a good decision to go back into the FET straight away. Even my obstetrician told us to start straight away even though we were almost 3 months pregnant when I had the m/c.
Vic - How are you holding up? I hope you're healing well? We're 2 months after the D&C and it seems a lifetime away. I do still miss bubba from time to time, but am hopeful for the future... Fingers crossed for all of us ;)

Hi ladies :). Well I thought I was getting over my stupid cold/virus thing, but I have jinxed myself, yet again :wall: and last night I went to bed with a runny nose, and a head full of hot air :( My poor DS has caught my cold and to top it all off, I really think his 2 year old molars are really coming this time, I'm seeing little white peaks in the back. He had a fever today and was just a grumpy little thing, so we didn't end up going to see my dad for his birthday :( Big boo hoo!!! I just don't get it. I started taking the cold and flu tablets last weekend, felt better and better every day, and all of a sudden, BAM! new symptoms have appeared, what is going on??? I'm so sick of feeling sick. I feel like I'm back to square one, like why did my body trick me into thinking i was getting over my cold? Stoopid body. Sorry for the 'me' post (vent really). Hope everyone had a good weekend :hello:

me4ever, I'm very lucky to have 2 very understanding and tolerant managers. I needed a lot of time off, often at short notice, for a variety of reasons while we were TTC#1 and they rarely complained even though I know they were often inconvenienced. This company was bought out while I was pg with DD and it changed a lot while I was on maternity leave. I strongly dislike the company it has become, but these two managers make it worth staying for now (just reached 10 years employed here yesterday!!). I'd never get the same understanding and patience elsewhere.
Miss.B, I'm sorry to hear you were feeling worse yesterday. How are you doing today? Any better?
