Long Term TTC and Assisted Conception July/August 2012
Thanks juniper, unfortunately not the hormones are making me all sooky and cry, just part of the joys of it for me, but on the upside they haven't made me be quite as moody and snappy so DH is happy about that.
Andie - I had a hystroscopy done when I was younger for something different from this and I was always awake, not comfortable but it wasn't to bad.
I can say I wasn't upset when our visitors left pretty early, I felt bad cause normally I steal the baby for a cuddle and I just couldn't last night :-(
I went to FS today for another scan, uterus had not plumped up much more from wed so I have to go back for another scan tomorrow and if still hasn't improved she said she will give me a patch to help. She is also getting to do a progesterone blood test tomorrow which is new for this cycle.
Have a good weekend, thank you all for you support and advice while I have been a sooky mess xo

Thanks Andie
Things didn't go to plan, lining has not changed so I am being put on patches, went to chemist to get them and they don't have them that high, they rang another couple and they don't either. Now back at FS and she is going to try and sort it. Can I fall in a heap now :-(( it has always been good but not this time.

bugger, kerbear. it's frustrating how sometimes there's no reason why things go so differently from cycle to cycle. hope you get those patches asap. worst case scenario you could do a freeze all cycle? I know it's not ideal, but there has been some info around lately suggesting that frozen transfers have equal/higher pregnancy rates. hopefully won't come to that & your lining starts to lift! ; )
jbear - thanks, best of luck with your upcoming cycle. : )

Thanks ladies - Finally after about 6 chemist shops I got the patches, there is one about 20 mins from my house that stocks the odd stuff which mine is cause of the dose so I know where to go to now. I was going to the coast today so I figured I would stop at all the ones on the way :-)
Spent 2.5 hrs in traffic cause highway was completely closed off from an accident which was not fun.
Trigger has been done at 6pm, yay no more needles. 3 needles and one blood test on the last day of injections is more than enough for me I think....
Vic - Nice to see you back, you have been missed. Hope you break has helped give you the rest you needed.
I have to agree with your response to your fs comment. It's your money and your body and I think if you ever hit the point of having to accept you need to stop trying (i hope this never happens) it needs to be on your own terms and when you want to stop, yes they can advise but I think ultimately it is your decision.
Juniper - I am not much help for you, wish I could help but that's one thing so far my body manages to do on time :-)
Jbear - welcome back, exciting times starting again hope af arrives soon so you can get started.
Andie - yeah if it doesn't thicken up we will freeze if they make it that far. It was 7.5 today and she wants it to be more than 8 but it hadn't gone up much in last 2 days, crossing fingers. Maybe all these extra hurdles and medications might help it all work this time....that's the theory I am going with !!!!
