Good Evening
Just thought i would pop my head in quickly.. Welcome to all the new additions!
BW - Good luck hun almost over :goodluck:
Holly - So glad things went well you sounds so happy and confident its wonderful to hear!
Everything ok here away on holidays for the long weekend catching up with the folks, unfortunately i'm Epileptic and had a seizure on Thursday the first time in 3 years which was horrible and was extremely embarrassing as i was at my desk at work! arghh oh well a great way to leave the job! But very cute ambos..and one of them was doing IVF as well lol.. hehehe
Nothing here on the ttc front just herbs, and apupuncture oh and BD'ing... maybe we will get a miracle before October when we ride the IVF rollercoaster again!
Also just wanted to say agreed agreed on the young and doing IVF, 22 here and TTC for almost 3 years.. DH 25 and AC for 18months.. and who knows it could take another 3 years and then i may not have been so young... :)

Hi all
Thanks so much for everyones encouragement, it really helps, we are from Brisbane and have just got in contact with Monash IVF. Rols- I am so happy we found you too as now i have a guys perspective to share with hubby, as its so hard on the men too!!
Hi Happymel!! so you are also in a similar situation im sorry to see you m/c are you going to go through it again soon?
Hi Hollybolly and bec and ray and butterfly warrior- i wish you all the best of luck
I will keep everyone posted as i said hubby is not getting tested again for another four weeks but we will start him on vit c and more zinc and going to send him to an accupuncturist and try chinese medicine. Its all worth a shot
I go back to my normal gyno in three weeks then to the ivf clinic on the 20th August. In the mean time we will try and stay positive that it can happen on its own, but if not i am confident ivf can help us achieve our life long goal
xoxo

Hi Shannon
May I ask your story? i pray your cycle in October works hun...looks like a few of us will be going through it around the same time
-
hi all - and a big welcome to the newbies - i really hope your time on the AC roller coaster is short and that you get your much awaited BFP's soon!
would love to do some personals, but i just can't seem to keep up with everyone at the moment, so going to just say GOOD LUCK to everyone for wherever they are in their cycle! i've just gotten home from a very long 24 hours at "work" with DH - carting livestock across VIC - and i'm sooooo tired! on the upside, i think the IUI meds last month "might" have kick started my bod a little, cos i'm feeling similar twinges around my ovaries to what i did last month - am soooo hoping my bod is doing it's own thing and that we have a "natural" shot at TTC this month!
i'm not giving up hope of conceiving while we wait for the FS next set of instructions!

Has anyone here tried acupuncture and how did you find it?
I'm booked in for a session in a week or so, I was reading that it can increase your chances with IVF if you do it for the three months beforehand... I'm petrified of needles but I'm going to have to get over that somehow...
-
hey i do accupuncture and i am going to start hubby too, i think it is great and has really helped to regulate my cycle xo
-
3 sleeps to go BW!!! i cant wait..... goodness knows how your holding up.....
-
Good Morning,
Sparkles- Not a problem, I'm 22 Dh is 25 we have been ttc #1 for almost 3 years now, i have PCOS and DH has male factors, we were on clomid for 18 months (which worked great) until we found out about DH issues. Since then we have done 1 stimulated IVF/ICSI cycle which all went text book perfect except i didn't fall pregnant... hmm and then 1 cancelled FET (didn't respond to drugs) and then 1 FET and once again a BFN. Now we are having chromosone testing done and the dr's believe i am falling and then miscarrying. So i got myself a new job to try and reduce stress load and i see a acupuncture and chinese herbalist as well. Who has done wonders for DH.. hope that helps.. Im in Brissy too.. But going through City Fertility.
Hope everyone else is well and BW so close now!

Oh and Bec yep Acupuncture is great.. i was also needle phobic but IVF makes you get over that. Just don't look at the acupuncture needles. But yes regulated my cycles and made them painfree.. heaven i am in love with my guy!!

Hi all not really posting much at the mo, personel reasons which i will share through pm. To be honest not a lot happening other than i am full of cold and had so much to plan to do this weekend.
Welcome to all the new ladies, (im not counting you rols)hehe

Got your PM Lou... replied, and I really wish I had answers for you. I miss you!
As for how I'm feeling... today I am so nauseous! I really can't remember if I felt this way last time... I know increased levels of progesterone could account for everything I'm feeling, and that doesn't mean anything one way or the other as to whether I'm pregnant or not!
Pee sticks are evil! Not long now, though... AF due Wednesday, would expect to see spotting on Tuesday if she's coming, possibly even on Monday night if I'm observant enough... This has been such a long, long, long week!

I am so so excited for you BW all your signs are looking great and forgive me if im wrong but your NOT taking p4 are you, so i would guess that the rise in P4 is natural and that is only caused by being pg, hehe
-
Morning everyone...
BW - thinking of you, hope you're okay & look forward to hearing good news really soon :)
Ray - Welcome!
Sparkles & Rols - I am happy to read your posts cause my DH & I did the same thing. We were together 6 years before getting married & starting a family was always at the top of our list. But then we decided we would wait until we got our house & of course when we were ready things didn't go to plan. We have been trying for about the same time as you guys...frustrating isn't it?!?! I have PCOS but my DH was tested through SIVF & tests results not great so we are looking at starting IVF too...
It seems that all my friends are having their 1st & 2nd babies & it is so hard to be around them & be happy. My sister had an unplanned pregnancy last year - she is a single mum - and it took me a long time before I could be around her without getting upset. I now have a beautiful niece who is 6mths old & I love her but at the same time in the back of my mind I think it isn't fair. I guess you just have to cope the best you can. And it makes it easier having ppl on here to talk to who are feeling the same way.
Bec - I understand your frustration when ppl say you're 20 you have heaps of time. I am 29 in a couple of weeks & I am getting that from my docs. I feel like they think I am impatient but it shouldn't matter how old you are..it's what you want so you should be able to have it happen for you.
Holly...hope you are okay after the storms. I have friends from work that live central coast & newcastle & it is scary how devasting the weather was. Let's hope it's well & truly over now.
Mel - am I right in thinking you are going through IVFAust? If so where do you go & how are you finding them?
Think that's enough from me now...a big hug for everyone :grouphug:
-
BW - it's all sounding pretty good hun!! have everything crossed for you - and i'm so happy for you that you only have a 9 day 2ww - imagine what you'd be like with a 3 week wait!!
Lou - got your PM - will reply in a little bit (only just dragged myself out of bed after a big day yesterday, so need to have myself some brekkie!!)
