Ahhhhh...update on the job....just need to vent...have been through all this S**T with work and thought I had it all sorted out just for it all to hit the fan...they want me to have a mediated meeting with HER....I am soooo sick of this...I am going to quit and do relief teaching then I am owned by NO ONE!!!!! Then I can get pregnant and focus on being a mum rather than a poxy job!!!
Sounds like a plan Ellie. Life is not worth being wasted on crap jobs where it can be avoided.
Ellie, that completely and utterly sucks! :hug: Good luck with the casual teaching - the thought of doing something like that fills me with absolute dread! I'm such a creature of habit - I like to know which kids I'll have in which class and that they all know exactly what I expect.
Me... still finding it hard to get my head around things. My symptoms are so damned strong it's almost scary, but it's comforting too. Perhaps tomorrow when the official word is given... Although, I have a scary feeling I'm still going to be struggling to get my head around the reality when I'm dropping the caterpillar off at school for the first time!

I have some bad news to share tonight.......!
I had my visit with my doctor today to check to see if she could see the embryo in my uterus as they thought in may have been in my tubes as an ectopic pregnancy due to my low levels of HCG & prst levels...as my levels increased slow and not increasing as it should have 18 to 96 to 849 to 1600..... The doctor thinks that the embryo just didn't grow as it should have...... the doc said there could have been something wrong with it - so it may be Gods way of saying that its not ment to be.... so l'm going in for a D & C tomorrow to take it out..... the upside to this is that l have actually fell pregnant on my first IVF cycle - the doc said that its a great possitive sign as l could have easily have lost it at the start...... fingers crossed that my frozen emby thaws ok and the next one works..... if not l'm booked for another cycle in late July (injections again!) soooo l have to keep my chin up..! keeping possitive is the key..! So those who are feeling a bit down... l'll be sending possitive vibes to all !! l really feel for everyone here going through IVF l really do ! xxxxxxxxx & hugs

ellie - it sucks that you have to meet with HER - but being mediated i'd be putting in an appearance - and giving it to her double barreled! i've had a supervisor that did some really ordinary things similar to yours, and i ended up firstly trying to address it, and then putting ina formal complaint - she now has been put on notice that one more incident and she's out (and for someone in upper management, that didn't sit to well - but stiff, she did the wrong thing) - good luck hun

Not much happening my end...still trying to digest all the information I am reading about IUI & IVF. Only just over a week to go till I see the new FS :doctor:...getting anxious as i'm interested in finding out if his views are the same as the previous one.
It's weird too cause the more people I talk to the more I hear of the problems others have had, I seem to even notice it more on TV...strange. Maybe I'm just more aware because it is happening to me. I must admit though that it much more conforting knowing that you are not going through it alone.

Bad luck babyface - but great attitude. It is great that the first cycle was technically successful and certainly a good sign for the future you would think.

Big Hi to everyone else! Sorry for lack of personals just squeezing in a post at work..
Everthing here is ok.. not really liking having IVF on hold for a few more months but oh well.. i start the new job on Wednesday and am petrified! I had my exit interview yesterday which was very therapeudic being able to get everything off my chest!
And we had the most adorable twins 14 months old come into work yesterday absolutely gorgeous. They are little IVF miracle and it made me very clucky!!

Hi Ellie - sorry I am at work and had to duck away before I could finish my first post. Sorry to hear that the work situation is not resolving itself quickly. I understand that you don't want to do a mediation session with HER but I think in the long term you will regret not doing it. It will give you the opportunity to vent your pent up stress and let her know how you feel. I was in a bad situation at (different) work a few years ago and I regret not doing the mediation session - while it would have been confronting at the time it would have allowed me to say how I was feeling rather than keep bottling it up inside - I am very good at doing that which just ends up with me being very stressed and consequently I get sick which makes it worse! It will be therapeutic in the long run and if you are worried about it, take a friend or colleague or someone you trust with you as your ally to offer some emotional support - they don't need to say anything - it just might make things feel a little less initmidating. Strength in numbers I always say! But whatever you decide, make sure it is for you and allows you to move on, and as you said focus on being a mum. We are here for you whatever you decide. It is a b*gger that these things happen when we have so much else to deal with and that others can only think that they understand!

Agree with Chez. Even though the other person probably is a cow, sometimes it can be surprising the ground you can cover when things are talked about in a mediated type situation. If it doesn't work, at least you had a go and got it off your chest and you come out of it looking classy.
