Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception - June 2007 #3

Nic, I really don't know how DH is! He got home from work at 10:30 on Tuesday night, same on Wednesday, 1am on Thursday night... hopefully in about half an hour tonight, and then I'm off to a ladies dinner at church. We've really had no time to talk about it together, apart from a few phone calls today where I couldn't say much because of all the people in the staff room! Looking forward to getting some time together tomorrow - I've barely seen him since Monday!

It still feels so surreal - like it's happening to someone else. But we have our first scan on the 2nd... Maybe after that...

the second isn't too far away BW! and i'm sure it's probably more surreal at the moment simply because you haven't had time to share this amazing news properly with DH - i'm sure you'll have plenty of time to discuss your impending parenthood with DH tomorrow!

Wow, scan on the 2nd.. that's not too far away..though it probably feels that way for you :) I agree with BG about it seeming surreal because you haven't had time with your DH! Enjoy tomorrow together.. :)

Well good news at last!!!! The BIG boss has called and everything is sorted. I said I wasn't emotionally able to take part in a mediation meeting due to recent mc...and he was fine with that...so I am on leave without pay until they shift me to my new 'spot' next week...so I'll only be working a couple of days a week and the best bit...I can walk to the fert clinic!!! Finally...it looks like things are coming together...now for the BFP!!! Thanks for all your supportxxx

Oh Ellie that's great news. You've finally got a break - and i hope the things just slip neatly into place from here on in. Good on you for hanging in there for so long and somehow staying sane.

BeiBei - yes, you let us know. It's nice to be able to live vicariously through others - and i need to hear lots of happy pg news.

BW - it'll start to feel real soon. owww, so much is going to change now, it's going to be such a great time for you guys.

BW & BeiBei - a big congratulations! Such fantastic news, especially on your first cycle BW is so encouraging to DF and me.

Ellie - great news from your boss and I understand what you mean about people turning things around and making them all about themselves - WTF! Some people can be so self-centred! So, all is looking good for you and with much less stress in your life, here's hoping that the next cycle will BE THE ONE! :crossfingers:

BW - like the others have said, not long until the second! do you find your hand constantly on your tummy and you are talking to bubs? this is what helped me when i found out i was pregnant and waiting for the scan... this helped me realise i WAS prego, even though the shocking m/s was a constant reminder!

me- STILL waiting on AF so i can start natural FET. i know its going to come soon....fingers crossed.

BW, I know exactly what you mean 'its like happening to someone else', was talking to DH exactly the same thing a mintue ago...

Still waiting for the b/t result, probably midday or early afternoon, the nurse was really nice and she said we will be racing to call to tell your the good news first before your FS calls ...ah, I feel really important ATM...

Last night had a terrible lower back pain and hardly can go to sleep and ended up getting at 2am to fix myself some mid-night snack, don't know if this is one of the symptoms. And apart from that, still no sore boobs, m/s...this morning, did another HPT, it seems the line is getting darker...so fingers crossed that the level will come back ok...

Alright, going to have a dose and let you guys know as sson as hear the result...thanks for thinking of me...:)

BeiBei...all sounding good...I had heaps on backpain and found I wasn't tired at night but was sleepy all day...if that makes any sense? A line is a line...so exciting...can't wait for the results :)

It seems my FS won the race, he called me a minute ago!

My level is 436...:cryinglaugh: OMG, I can't believe it, this is my first BFP ever in my life! FS said everything looks really good and the next step is to do a scan in 3 weeks' time.

That seems like a long time though, I did asked if I need any b/t in betwee, he said no unless I am worried.

The rest he said just didn't get through to me, sth about making appointment with Ob, I feel I am still in shock, I thought this would never happen...

Thank you so much for your support ladies, the information you gave, the concern you showed, the true care you shared with me along the way is making this journey so much easier and so precious...

Now it seems my plan of 'having a doze' will never happen, I might just have a lie down with eyes wide open, minding race then...:rolleyes:
