Sooooo, as I said ladies, I feel so weird on this elonva cycle....like nothing is happening in there! At least when I was doing the daily injections, I was feeling more and more tender each day and I knew I was doing SOMETHING. I'm freaking out that it will get to the day of the scan and there won't be much in there egg wise. For those of you that have had the elonva cycle, did you feel nothing as well? Or is it just way too early to tell since the jab was only last night.....
Today is my day5 on Progynova, my sleep is getting better but I still wake up earlier than normal and I feel tired. You are on Pessaries 400mg 3 times a day, that means 1200mg daily and it seems a lot, some websites say the maximum dosage is 800mg daily. Last time it is my stimulation cycle with transfer, I did not have tablets, but I have 400mg 2x day, I felt drowsy and vision blur and I can't drive, finally doctor agreed to reduce to 200mg 2x day. I wait to Tuesday to talk to my clinic nurse and I hope Doctor will reduce to 200mg 2x day for me. That feeling is horrible and I am very nervous about it.

Miss. B, I have Elonva cycles for three times, it did the good results for me. The first two times I felt my ovary very sore and I had 12 eggs collected on second time. On the third time I had Elonva with Nasal spray for trigger (My AF says this way will have good quality embryos), I did not feel anything (no ovary pain at all) and I kept questioning my husband if he did the injection properly (my poor husband), but I had 7 eggs and 4 fertilised and 3 frozen, that is good result for me because I never had any frozen embryos before.
Thanks so much Bestrong, I am also going to have the spray as a trigger this time. I hope I get some embies and especially ones to freeze like you! Well, they will all be frozen, but I hope to have left overs....good luck with your next cycle!

Jasmine welcome, I hoe you won't have to be here long. I'm not able to help as we are doing our first IVF cycle in the next few months.
Hummingbird that is fantastic news.
All of the discussions on the different types of cycles is a little confusing for me as we have to wait to get into the FS to discuss all of that. Our appointment isn't till the 23 July. I was hoping to get in sooner but as we only have one FS up here in Rocky you have no choice. I suppose it is a good thing though, it will give me more time to loose more weight before starting. Well I had a few plans which got thrown out the window this weekend. DH was going to be on his 3 days off matching the long weekend, so I thought I would be romantic and spend most of it in bed but my body had other ideas. AF has decided to start and be quite full on. It was been 85 days since my last AF and she is making up for it the pain has been ridiculous and I've been quite heavy from the start (sorry if tmi) I must say though DH has been great he even went out for a drive to go and get more nurofen for me. So it is all just a waiting game for me now until we go to the FS in July. Hope everyone is having a good weekend

AFM- Feeling really down! I started getting cramps this morning.. This arvo they are now getting a lot worse and are accompanied with spotting
Does anyone know if bleeding during the 'stim' phase of ivf is normal / ok? I have never had this before. Feeling really confussed and worried this cycle is going to end up a bust!
Epayne- Sorry I missed you in the personals! Boo to AF showing up and ruining your plans!! I know that the end of July for your FS appointment feels like forever away but try to focus on the positives honey.. You now have an appointment and something positive to count down to. You are one step closer to your dream.
Thanks, it must sound a bit ridiculous complaining AF has turned up, I just wasn't expecting it at all, I've had no tell tale signs that I used to get and this is my second period ever after going on the pill since I was 15 (due to no AF from PCOS)

Yep, I spoke too soon. Getting niggly pains down there now, very noticeable. I'm panicking a bit now as when I signed up for the cycle I needed to be 60 kg or over to get the 150 dose. I was 57 at the time, so doc said to drink protein drinks like sustagen to increase my weight slightly. So I didn't do that, roll eyes, and I read in the brochure that if you are under the required weight there is an increased risk of OHSS. Oh oh. I should be right, right?? Oh well, something else to worry/obsess about.
Jasmine, not sure about the spotting hun. Can you give your nurse a call? That's who I call with any questions, and there are plenty usually! lol. Hope it all settles for you soon.

miss b - i was 45kgs and did the 150 dose elonva. i know everyone reacts differently, but i was fine. even did 2-3 days of gonal, 5-6 days after the elonva jab. think i got about 11 eggs collected from that one (after being told i only had 4...). best of luck. xx
Thanks Andie. Did you have success with that cycle? I wouldn't mind 11 eggies too, that's a fantastic number. Feeling quite tender tonight, even got pain in the upper abdomen. I think it's partly anxiety now, lol.

miss b - unfortunately no luck with that cycle, but ended up with a few blasts. cycle I got lucky with was a down reg cycle. hopefully your elonva cycle will be your lucky one though. : )
Miss B I hope all goes well and u get some good eggies, I wouldn't worry about the weight if the doc was worried yet would have weighed you to check you had put weight on.
I went in for my blood test a day early today and its official, I am pregnant. So pleased, a 'good strong' number according to the nurse 323 at 9dp5dt...am now wondering if there could be 2.
I really want to say thank you to all you lovely ladies for making the last few months of my ttc journey much easier. Not many people 'in real life' understand and it's nice to talk to others in the same boat. Assuming all goes well with me, I will still be here stalking and crossing everything that everyone's dreams come true. xxx
