1 more please, don't feel guilty hun. I'm sure your son will be fine, but if this is your only try at ivf, you'd never forgive yourself if you didn't give it a go. FX the IVF cycle works!

Well, I have my FS app. on Thursday. Can't say I feel anything really, I feel almost flat and not really scared or excited. We'll see what he says, somehow I don't see myself leaving there with a hopeful/positive feeling . But then, I can't be too much of a negative Nancy, otherwise it doesn't matter what we try, it will have little chance of working because of the negativity..

Sarah - Im glad to hear everything is fine, but I totally understand that you were so worried, I would be too. My sister has 4 kids and she says she had spotting up to 10-12 weeks, but she says she never freaked out, because her dr told her that was something pretty common, so she never thought much about it, but she never miscarried.

Pholi & 1 more - I think we are going to be ivf cycle buddies Pholi if your husband is keen on having tablets, I recommend you to put him on Maca, I did work for DP andfor my brother in law it made miracles.

Miss B - That was pretty much my attitude, it took me so long to make an appointment to see a new FS, but then I thought 'wait a min, if im going to do something about it I better do it now, and Im just going to do what I have to do, Im going to go and see that FS and it doesn't matter how it goes, I just need to get to the next stage'. I didn't really feel anything abnout seeing a new FS, wasn't positive or negative about it, i took I as something I needed to do and keep moving. And Miss B, I think, if something is meant to be, it will be, it doesn't matter how negative or how positive you are, I hope that makes sense, otherwise all negative people would never get what they want and they do.

AFM, I had an endometrial biopsy this morning and oh mannnn, it hurt!!! Im waiting for AF next sunday and start injections Monday, I don't remember what drugs I will have I think gonal f, but last IVF I has 100 u and I only got 4 eggs, this time they are going to put me in 200, I wanted FS to give me more, I asked her to put me in at least 350, but she said NO, hopefully 200u gives me more eggs.

Catyo, the final f doses come with more than 200 in a vial I'm pretty sure I'm naughty but I did a bit more if I felt my f/s was being to conservative lol.

I took puregon and he only had me on 50 and I ended up taking 130 in the end as I didn't even get pg on lower. And I still only got one in there.

I only got 3 eggs one ivf on gonal f!! (it doesn't work well for me, low amh)

Lol Sarah, I would have done that too, but when I did IVF last year, I didn't know how many follicles I had, what size, etc, because the nurse didn't say anything during the u/s and I didn't ask, because I didn't know what to ask, haha If I had known that I had 2 follicles in each ovary, as I learnt later, I probably would have ask for a higher dose or I would have done it myself, which is risky I know. I don't know if gonal f works for me or not, I don't know if getting 4 eggs means that it didn't work? my amh is 26.9, but I don't know what that means, I don't know whats the normal range, low range, high range... Anyway I felt like I had to convince FS to give me a higher dose of gonal f, as her intention was to put me on 150, and then I asked 350 and she said would only put me on 200, no more... On what dose of gonal f did you have only 3 eggs?

Great news, Sarah! The HB is so exciting!

Thanks ladies. DP is very philosophical about it. 'It is what it is, we only need a few to fertilise your eggs' etc. He's not into taking pills at all, which is fair enough since even Menevit or paracetamol give him terrible stomach pain.

Hmmm Catyo, you definitely need to ask more questions this time .

They should tell you what's going on!

I got 8 follicles that last ivf cy and only 3 had eggs.

I wish I could remember what dose of gonal f I took!
But my amh was 5.0 so a lot lower than yours.
You have a good amh but aim for more than 4 follies if u ask me.

CatyO, EPU timing depends on your response to the meds. I had all of mine later than CD12 (CD16 was the earliest, CD24 was the latest).

I started my injections this morning, I'm on 450iu pergeon then on Monday I start something starting with O that stops me ovulating until I have my trigger.
I can honestly say I did not even know you could stop ovulation so there you go cause my day 12 and 13 is on a weekend.
