    Hi ladies

I am back from overseas. It was so good to get away. Time with my husband was great but now we are home reality has set in again that I should be 12 weeks pregnant but instead my bhcg isn't even back to baseline 4 weeks since d&c. I have tried to make appointment with the psych at the clinic but can't get in for just over a fortnight. Grr. I need it now not in another two weeks. Anyway enough about me. Looks like it will be may before we can start thinking about doing another fet - once my body behaves.

    Sorry for my rant.

Me4ever - congrats babe! Hope this one stays around for you!

Juniper - I'm so sorry - bfn suck so much Sorry I've never had to take supplements.

Ill try catch up on everyone else soon.

Sorry Juniper...... Just nothing I can say. Enjoy your treats. You deserve them!

I'm still waiting round for AF. She's playing games when I need her to show I have a Friends wedding in early April. Is it ok to fly after transfer? Stupid stress!

So I might be jumping ahead a little, but when you get a BFP when do they start counting from for how far along you are? Is it from the day of transfer or the first day of your last period?

So what if it was a medicated FET where pickup or ovulation didn't happen?

How old is the embie?? If it's five days, then ovulation would be counted as five days before transfer. If it is two days, then two days before transfer.

I just reread your post and I think I misunderstood. If you are talking about gestational age, then it is first day of last period (just like a natural conception), but ovulation (conception) is as I explained.

Never be afraid to ask questions no matter how silly you feel! We've all been there and we are all happy to help

Sorry to add to your confusion!! I shouldn't be answering while watching MKR!

Kel, I'd count back to 5 days before your ET (ie Friday - 1/3/13) and call that O day, then calculate the pg from there (you can find calculators that use O day online). O day is considered to be 2w0d pg, so you would be 2w5d today. An OB will almost always use a LMP (they have this single-minded fixation that everyone has a 28 day cycle, no matter how many of us don't), but I always just said we did IVF so my LMP was irrelevant and my due date is "_ /_ /_". When people argued with me, I gave them an "adjusted LMP" that matched the due date, not the real (irrelevant) LMP. By LMP, you would be 3w4d today, so you can see there is a 6-day discrepancy! If you went to a scan and they used your LMP to date the pg, you'd have them freaking out that you were measuring a week behind when you were actually measuring right on track! That's why I always date by O instead of LMP.

    Thanks again ladies.

    Hi ladies,

I'm sorry I've been MIA. I have been quietly stalking but sometimes it's just mentally draining dealing with things ATM, so I have kept a low profile. I've had my LO in early intervention since early Feb and it's been full on since then. We are also thinking about sending him to a family daycare instead of normal childcare as there are so many kids in his room now it's a bit overwhelming for him, plus they are reluctant to put him in the 3-5 year old room as his verbal communication is still not up to speed. The thing is, he needs to be with the older kids as in his room there are 17-18 month old children and he's not finding it mentally stimulating. Sorry for the ramble!
We are taking over the shop on the 18 March and I've just realised that I might be looking at an April cycle as we'll have the cash flowing towards the end of March and that will be too late for the March cycle. Honestly, I feel so deflated about doing a cycle ATM. If we didn't go through the money dramas we would have done 2 to 3 cycles by now. I will be 43 in a couple of months. I feel so old and expired in the fertility department Really struggling with it all ATM.

Juniper, I'm sorry for your BFN hun

I just wanted to wish everyone well in their current cycles.

    Big hug miss B

    sorry juniper

    for everyone else....

I have finally booked my FS appointment for later this month... I wanted to lose weight prior to starting again, and still plan to try, but I wanted to see what he has to say first.... We are going to Hamilton island for a holiday at Easter for 9 days which we are looking forward to... First family holiday with DSD. But I should have been 39 weeks by then

anyway, I am dealing. So much is going on with my parents it's just all weird. I SOOOO hope I get a BFP that sticks this year
