SAph: im soo sorry Campbell, have no idea where i got cooper from im just the worst with names, sorry. Oh its so exciting the big bed thing, jake was so proud of himself when he moved, and yes they look tiny in there!!! Sorry about the bruising, i bruised too and the nurses said after you inject press down on the injection site the same as when you have a blood test, for a few seconds, it seemed to help me. Good luck!! You must hear the most hilliarious things at school that age are just gold for funny comments and i guess you cant laugh too much or they get offended.

Hi everyone

Well I have just signed onboard today so I am not 100% sure what I am doing just yet. Bear with me. Probably not the best day to start as I have just had my BT this morning following a Blastocyst tfr. But not feeling positive as I have had AF symptoms for about 3 days. (Does anyone else get that incredibly heavy, aching uteris feeling)

Will let you know the outcome when I get the dreaded phone call later today but am sure it will be a BFN.

Sorry I should have left much more info you everyone. Really not very good at this yet. I have been receiving IVF treatment for 3 years now with no success. I have had 4 attempts at IUAI followed by 2 full IVF cycles and 5 frozen cycles.

Hope this creates a clearer picture for everyone!!!:dance:

Hi everyone! I've been AWOL for a few days as there is really not a lot happening on my front. Just counting down the days to my first scan, which will hopefully mean that I can start on the stims early next week. Feeling a lot better with my cold almost totally gone, but now I am starting to feel some side effects from the Syneral. I feel quite nauseous for about an hour after sniffing and have a nagging headache all day. From what I have read here... its all quite normal!

Paula, GL for Monday! I seem to be exactly a week behind you at the moment. I also am starting on 100iu of Puregon. Are you feeling more swollen on the higher dose (I'm assuming you did less for IUI)?

hey all, i feel a bit lazy today and getting very uncomfortable, i rang the nurses as i've had a few pains and discharge and they said i prob got a few eggs to collect. anyway i got scan fri morn so i don't have to wait long.
my whole tum has been warm and swolen and i can't fit into anything! except trackies!!
they said prob collect eggs on mon or tue . find out tom .

Hi all,
Still plodding along. Injections seem to be going okay I realise if I hit a good patch of fat it does leave a bruise. So Lucky I have got lots of padding. Just one question has anyone eperienced joint pain when using puregon? I am assuming it would be fluid but I dont know realised know that it also happened last time. Amazing how second round you realise the effects the drugs have on your body.

Now unfortunately got the dreaded phone call around 3pm this afternoon. Result was as expected BFN
But my Dr still says he is extremely confident he will get us pregnant so fingers crossed for next time.
I must say it is nice to have people to talk to who know what you are going thru:hug:

Still go for my beta jus now, as xpected blood test is definitely NEGATIVE. will be seeing doc in 2 weeks tym to begin another round of stims...

Well i just gave myself my trigger injection, didn't hurt too much but in 45 mins i think i can feel the differrence already?.
i had good no of follicles and fs said they were good size. he said i had a good response. so i have to be at hos mon morn at 6.30 am and i live about 45 mins away plus parking so that will be early morn for me!!
plus dh has to be there by 8 am as he having biopsy to get out those swimmers, so we have to take the boys to before school care and dh will have to leave home about 7am! with 3 boys. we will get everything organised on sun night so they just have breaky, get dressed, brush teeth and leave..
anyway then i'll be having et on wed as my fs likes to get those bubs back in asap.

Tl: thanks for that info on water and maternity clothes, i'll try that. hope all goes well for you, it's so exciting. this is the time for you for your baby . lots of good luck going your way:goodluck2::cheer:

I had one blastie transfered. No embies left to frozen since the other 6 were stopped growing after day 3/4. Any way it is good that at least i got one good blastie and I eliminated the bad ones :wall:
still 1 week to go for BT. crazy waiting period ahead.:(

Marsha: good luck for your next cycle. so hard to hear that medical leave is not approved for u. sorry honey. if you have working from home option, it is worth considering for ur next cycle. I was working from home for almost a 11/2 week during epu and It really helped me out.

As for me, had my first scan this morning to check that lining was thin and that my ovaries weren't doing anything. Good news is, we are all clear to get started on stims on Wednesday. Bad news is that DH's sperm test came back not so good. He has had one previously and it was within normal ranges, but this one is not looking great. So looks like we will have to do ICSI. FS did say that if his count is up on the day, then we will just do normal IVF. I can tell DH is devastated. We didn't have much chance to talk as had to hurry to work, but I am worried about him. I have had so much time to become used to the fertility issues that I have, but he/I really wasn't expecting this.

Janie you are roughly one week off from me. I had my first scan today, day 7 of Stims. Still early. The nurse found 4 follies on my right ovary and 6 on the left. E2 came back at 405. Back on Wednesday for more prodding and BT.

So sorry I have been silent for so long - it has simply been a bit of a slog of late and we lost a few embies and only had one blastie to transfer. Am in TWW and jabbing pregnyl and - as would always happen - work is simply awful and have had to sack someone today.
Feeling a bit blue but glad to see everyone is kicking along!

Marsha: that really is bad i would be ringing equal opportunity and seeing what they say youd think they would at least show compassion !! ive been having acupuncture and different places have different protocals but i would say the sooner you start the better. If nothing else i definately feel more balanced than i usually do in the TWW.

PLC: that sounds really great, hang in there, i was thinkin the other day im more nervous about getting a BFP i think cause then i have the 8 WW rather than TWW. It such a shame that we cant just enjoy it and celebrate. But i guess that day will come soon like the 20th of MAY ;)

Something else I would like to add after alot of pain on the weekend AP made it dissapear just tiny tender now so so so happy :cheer:
