Hello .... WOW so much going on in here! Has taken me ages to catch up! Have returned from Port Douglas conference, had Melb Cup fun yesterday and the day at home doing stuff with DH, so am feeling pretty relaxed!
So many of you to say 'hi' to, and need to make it quick as need to go start cooking dinner.

Miss C - ah yes we are very very similar .... i had a selection of roses throughout my bouqet as well :D .. cant wait to see the pics from the wedding ... !! How many guests do you think you will have? We ended up with exactly 100 !! Gotta love afternoon of veging on the couch, last saturday i watched 4 hours of Lost, Season 1 - yeah didnt really get much done that day !!
Showed my DH all the new injections and bits and pieces last night and he thinks we should open our own pharmacy :lol: .... told him to start reading the instructions very very carefully ....
Then this morning i got woken up to have my injection .... ahhh its the first time i haven't been up and prepped so I got nudged and opened my eyes to a needle aaargh :lol: :lol: tell you what I woke up instantly I think .... ;)

You guys are great, truly. I feel nervous as hell to be honest, trying to distract myself til tomorrow morning. Worrying won't change whats going on in there! I am not THAT sore to be honest, and I have no ohss symptoms. I am slightly tender, especially when my bladder is full! But nothing much. I really didn't want to inject more last night, was so worried about it, but I trust my FS knows what she is doing to give me the best chance. We'll just wait and see. The support I have received here is second to none, it means so much to me, I really appreciate it.

miss c, wedding plans sounding lovely, hope you can get moving soon. Spray is kind to me, thank goodness, on the stims not soo much.... I think I will be starting on the 12-13 see the FS today, so hoping to firm some things up. Have 1.5 pages of ????? I am not leaving until I get some answers!!!! He's the charming type, you can go in a bit cross and leave wondering why you felt like that. UNTIL LATER!!!!

Wow! There is so much happening here. It has only been a few days since my last post, but it has just taken me 20mins to quickly skim all the news.
Congrats to Missy & Dusty. Here's hoping everything goes to plan for you both.
BW - I hope that your families understand your situation for xmas, all the girls have certainly given some very good advice. Luckily, both of our families know when enough questions are enough, however my Mum can get a bit pushy. When that happens, I don't call her & just wait for her to settle & call me! Bit immature maybe, but it seems to work.
TL - I'm on the Sunshine Coast, so not too far from brissie.

Hi girls/guys, just a quick visit and will be back later tonight. IUI went well, just taking it easy - I could have gone back to work but might as well take a whole day off I reckon! The doc who did the IUI was great, he'd checked my file before hand and reckons he's seeing a trend in my cycle so is adding pesseries to my regime for the first time, hope this cracks it :crossfingers:

hello everyone :hello:
i had EPU this morning and have been tired and a bit sore most of the day. they got 6 eggs which was a 50% increase on our best result to date. unfortunately it looks like all the eggs are pretty poor quality and the embryologist wasn't hopeful. but i am still not giving up hope that DH's boys will be super fantastic and give us at least one embie to transfer :)

quick update - seen FS today and got the go ahead, so we're all go for IVF, with stims starting next week! i'm soooo happy and relieved
Pam - hope you got answers to your questions hun - i know FS is a charmer, but if you grill him hard enough, he'll fold and answer - he greeted me with "hi, how's my problem child today?" :lol: don't be surprised if i try to scope out some of your answers from him - i didn't have a lot of questions today (asked most of them yesterday at counselling) but if any arise, i'll harrass you a little!
meet with the ivf nurse on monday - how exciting!

Dusty, just do your best to wait for the final outcome (ie. the end of the TWW). I really get the impression that for all their genuine knowledge and training, sometimes the experts in fertility use a bit of guesswork based upon the visuals and sometimes the end result belies their initial conservatism. Well done for getting this far, and GL.
BG, great news. I know you'll be super pleased to get this ball rolling now, rather than next year. Great stuff.

TL, congrats on becoming an auntie. Try and get some training in for the real thing!
Speaking of the real thing, a girl at work brought her baby in yesterday and hung around for hours doing god knows what (she was on leave) and the little one just sooked and cried the whole time. Made me wonder momentarily what I was getting myself in for. I guess it's different when they're yours, but I know I could've done without hours of howling whilst trying to work.

Don't you worry about what the embryologist said... Everyone was telling you not to expect much from this one, and you got 6 this time, 50% better than the best one before that!!!
You should be really happy with that, and don't let them get you down ;)
I agree with Slyder... and you know what, it only takes one - Have a re read through Arielles journal for a bit of inspiration - Her little one is now growing inside of her everyday :)
