Thanks Myturn. You beat me to it.

Jo, I put myself in the 2ww once I have confirmed O (usually after a few days of high temps, but sometimes earlier). That's for a natural cycle, anyway. For IVF, as the other ladies have said, it's once you have done the transfer.

Emma, I'd find sometimes I felt worst about 3 days after EPU. If you have any signs of OHSS, follow up with your FS immediately, but, otherwise, you should be fine after 2-5 days.

N2L, as the others said, EWCM means your E2 is rising. Very normal for the protocol you're doing.

Afm, I've given up on this cycle, so I'm eating all the wrong things and shaking my fist defiantly at the universe and daring it to make me pg (hey, nothing else works, so why not try it?!). Take that, stupid ovaries, I'm eating this chocolate whether you like it or not!! Mwah ha ha ha!!

    Thanks Juniper!

Someone very wise told me chocolate is good for ovaries today. I choose to believe them. I suggest you do too

N2L, if that person is within reach (any time soon, not necessarily right now), please give them a hug from me! I'm just glad I asked DH to buy some yesterday! This not-able-to-drive situation really puts a crimp on my independence.

I wonder if I can talk him into buying wine? Hmmm...???

Some fairy told me the same thing so I went down the chocolate path and enjoyed it immensely

am thinking no chocolate during the TWW though.... Then ill be totally caffeine free.....

Although, I don't think that rules out white chocolate though

Yeah after transfer if you are doing IVF, and after O if you are doing au natural, After insemination if IUI....
Au natural assuming you DTD around the right time and you had confirmed O i guess?

Thank you all for the replies

N2L I had so much Ewcm not long after I starting stim injections I got worried and called the clinic coz I was worried I would o while I was overseas. The nurse said it is very normal to get a lot more fertile fluid well before the follies are ready.

Jo, yay for the tww. Hope it goes quickly for you.

Juniper, you are in my thoughts. Hope DH did bring you some wine.

Hope tomorrow sees you right Emma.

Hi to all I have missed.

AFM, another scan and BT today. No surge yet so o may still be a couple of days away. I think my stim cycle messed up the follicular phase. Last cycle was four days longer than usual, so far o is at least two days longer than usual. Oh we'll, it gives my lining more chance to grow. The nurse said they won't do a FET unless the lining is at least 7-7.5mm before o. Today I was 6.8. Thinking thick!

I did another opk today and the line was visible but only just... After seeing such a dark test line on Monday and calling my clinic to speak to my nurse, she is fairly certain that I did O either Monday night or yesterday sometime!!! Yay!!! Still having blood work on Monday to completely confirm but I am hopeful!!!

Quick question- I have also been having some SERIOUS cramping since Monday... They kind of feel like AF cramps but more intermittent and my bbs are really really sensitive, it is painful to put a bra on and even to have the water from the shower hitting them if i have it turned on too hard... Is this a common thing with O???

I think I need to invest in some OPKs now.

I have started using the thermometer and have been doing Saliva tests so maybe this will help me know for sure if I have o'd

Jo, those can be common post-O symptoms. I've had awful cramping at 3-5dpo the last 2 cycles and I noticed today that my bbs are quite sensitive (although not as bad as you're saying).

kbudgie, the opks give you an indication that O is on the way, similar to the saliva microscope. It's the temps that confirm that O has happened. Opks and saliva microscopes predict before O happens and temps confirm after O, if that makes sense?

Afm, no wine, but we did make the trek to get Turkish for dinner. It's a half hour drive each way, so we don't go often (and I was surprised DH didn't say he was too tired). So now I'm stuffed full as a goog... I can roll down the hall to bed, instead of using the crutches...

Miloro - won't your clinic give you some progynova to thicken up your lining? That's what I am on.

    Jo - congrats on o

Emma - orgalutran is aweful. As soon as I started injecting I became bloated & sick. Not sure if it was I was over stimulated or the orgalutran though. Fx for you!

Juniper - yay for having a lovely meal with your dh. Is your ankle getting any better?

    Hi everyone else.

Afm - no news just another week to wait for bt. This week is going forever!

Doesn't your clinic test for ovulation kbudgie?
We have not really gotten that far. We had initial tests - blood test & ultrasounds for me and semen analysis for him and all seemed to be fine. Next step is Laparoscopy and we are waiting for this but have an appointment with new FS coming up 14/12/12 so if they offer a Laparoscopy we will just get it done instead of waiting. I am trying to learn more about my cycles as someone here suggested I may have been having chem pregs but not know as I have never tested until when AF is due and I have not had many cycles that are not reasonably regular. I have had the odd few days late and few days early which makes me think maybe chem. I find tcc is always somewhere in my thoughts and it can be such a depressing thing every twinge and cramp and bloated feeling etc etc I find myself wondering if it is a sign and though I try not to get my hopes up I tend to and then get upset when AF comes AGAIN!

sorry - seem to have turned this into a little vent :O

Hi beau, coz I'm doing a natural FET cycle they don't want to do any drugs at all. Plus all previous scans and tests never showed an issue with lining thickness. I think they were just trying to prepare me for the worst coz this morning I was at 8.1mm. If they see the surge today it will be a wednesday transfer for me.

Kbudgie, vent away, we all need to sometimes. Opk's can be helpful while you are getting to know your body, but if your clinic is doing any monitoring I think it can just add more stress (trying to interpret the tests). You can buy bulk online fairly cheaply, just go somewhere reputable.

I am just wondering if any of you girls has forgotten to take progynova tablet? If so did you take double or just forget it? I forgot mine last night.

Sorry Beau- I don't have any experience with that.

AFM- clinic just rang to say that 6 out of 10 fertilized.
    I had hoped for more
FX crossed I get one for transfer and 5 in the freezer- what are my chances?

Hi everyone - how are we all travelling?

beau30- I have only had progynova once, can't offer much advice- probably better to call your clinic see if you do a catch up or just continue with your next dose?

Kbudgie - I don't know if my clinic gives out opks, but you can get them quite cheap on ebay. I used them for a short time when we decided to give it a shot early this year the old fashioned way.

miloro - yeh, I questioned my clinic about O-ing after a stim cycle and they confirmed it throws you out of wack. I did and OPK and it came up positive then three days later I had my period.

AFM - I am still getting + hpts, but I am struggling to believe it - they are consistent and if I look at the last one this morning with one eye, standing on my head it looks ever so slightly darker than yesterday. It's the first time I have used ovidrel and can't figure out the half life properly. TMI - I had a bit of light brown watery discharge when I wiped yesterday, hopefully it was left overs from implantation?? maybe?? I called the clinic and got a bit of a *smacK* for doing progesterone pessaries without their consent, we also have the appointment with the new clinic in a few hours, I am not sure I will need it but we will cross that bridge in the next few days.

So much going on in December - weddings, birthdays, christmas... I am not prepared for it as I am so focused on TTC this time. Final blood test is Sat morning.. can't come quick enough... its pure torture having to wait.

My sister had another miscarriage yesterday

i don't know how to feel. Now I think I've jinxed myself by getting cross at mum and saying what do you want me to do. Then crying and telling her I'm in the middle of another cycle. I know rationally its stupid. But the only BFP I got was when I told no one it was happening.

I feel so emotional and it's all just crappy
