Thanks Babydreamtime - it's been an awful week. I wish you all the best with this cycle - it is great that you have a new plan and are excited about TTC again.

    Hey girls!

baby dreamtime: Hi there! We are tossing up between monash at allamanda hospital on the gold coast or city fertility clinic in brisbane, I just got a great new job with community nursing that is really awsome pay! so we are paying off our credit cards going to cancel them all and just get one with a limit of ten grand or so to start our ivf as we are hopeless with saving and it shouldnt be too hard to pay off the gap each month, its just that 1st cycle that seems to be the most expensive one and all the tests and appointments! I think we should be doing our first cycle in the new year as I want to get a few tests done at GP before going to the clinic and be financially stable and Xmas to be finished! also I think we will be doing IUI as DP still has 11percent good sperm so we will see its worth a shot I guess! I hope you finally get to hear "your pregnant" ALL I thinki about is showing my partner those 2 lines!!! I JUST WANT TO DO IT ALREADY!

HI to everyone else! I have to get back to studying! im procrastinating and doing my usual TTC research!

    Hi Ladies

Well the FET has taken place and we have 2 more on board. We were very lucky again and didn't lose any in the thaw so we still have 10 in the freezer (hopefuly they won't need to be used for a long time).

So I'm going to now pop across to the TWW thread, but will keep on checking in. JBM, I'll see you in the TWW. By the way I think you should be able to test sooner if you had your ET on Wed and you BT is the 28/11. With my ET today, I'm 2 days behind you and by BT is on the 27/11, so that's a 3 day difference....

    hi,
thought i'd throw my name in the mix. Good luck to all, whatever stage you are at.

hubby and i are in our first cycle. Just took the trigger shot tonight and am scheduled for pick up on monday morning. we are doing icsi and hopefully will be transferring one embryo on saturday morning next week.

have had a pretty good run of it so far. am hoping against hope it stays that way. but we are also realistic, hopeful but realistic.

It's interesting to follow everyone else's journey. as we are only starting out with ivf i do feel very ''green'' when reading what others have gone through. but i suppose all any of us can do is have hope and that is why we do this and why we keep going.

JBM and Kelly, best wishes for your tww. Hope it is a speedy one!

Baby Dreamtime, good to see you are moving forward and have a "plan of attack" Hoping the next few months brings you a miracle naturally.

Sunflowers, GL for your BT next Wednesday.

Hi to everyone else who is at the start of, in the middle of or at the end of cycles. Hope you're all travelling along well.

AFM, I had a BT on Thursday and another on saturday to monitor hormones waiting for LH surge to happen before FET can happen.. No change in hormones as yet so I'm back again tomorrow morning. Nurse thinks transfer will be end of the week. Fingers crossed!

thanks everyone for your well wishes. And I'm really sending the love back to everyone who's posted, where ever they are at. good luck.

egg pickup went well, we got 11 good ones. doc says 1-2 were a little on the small size but there were some nice big ones apparently. am just in bed snoozing and resting now. pretty tender in the belly. am gulping down water as advised by nurse. am anticipating tomorrow's call to the clinic of what has fertilised. but it's out of our hands now so here's to hope!

*ps sorry i haven't sent any personal messages out there, am finding remembering conversations a little confusing atm but sure i'll get used to forum world.

just a quick note. i did a test, i know prob too early. i am on day 23 of cycle and embie would be day 8. day 28 is sunday and you'd think if there was a change i'd at least have a slight 2nd line by now ?

anyway i think we will go onto another cycle and ask for our last 2 to be thawed and if only 1 survives at least i could get one?

i just don't know as this will be it as dh has said he not doing it again. and they had to take his little friends out with a needle ( ouch).

i just can't imagine giving up on this. so sad
