Thanks n2l - I'm sure it will... I hope I get to that point although I also hope I don't have to go through this long enough for me to be able to say that!

Amen to that Faye!
Just a quick question - do the injections stop after scan or do you have to keep going right up to egg pick up?? I'm on Gonal F if that's relative and have 10 days of injections that I know of and a scan next Thursday...
Yay I am finally cd1. Feels like it took forever. Af is horrible! I am happy its arrived but in so much pain i cant go to work. massive headache & cramps so bad. I guess after all the hormones etc in the stim cycle I can see why it's awful. So bt for me tomorrow to start my natural fet. I just rang my fs & they said I can do back to back fet if needed even in December. They just cant do stimulated cycles are theatres close over Xmas.
Hi to everyone & welcome little_mrs.
Hi Faye
You continue taking the gonal f until you take your trigger shot. 36 hours before egg collection. Do you also have to inject orgalutran? I had to start on day 6 injecting both gonal f & orgalutran.
Faye, I am the same!!! I can't stand needles but being a nurse I give them to others without hesitating!!! When I had to do my first Puregon one, I had worked myself up so much that I was hyperventilating and I thought I was going I either vomit or pass out!!! When I finally calmed myself down enough to do it, I realised it didn't actually hurt at all... The worst part for me is the feeling and sound when you just push through the skin, it makes me queasy! Lol! You will be shocked how easy it will be for you to do them yourself once you try! xxx
Beau- congrats on AF!!! Sorry she is so mean to you, hopefully she pulls her head in and is kinder over the next few days!!! xxx
AFM- I picked the winning horse for today's 'Melbourne Cup'!!! That is the highlight of my week!!! Lol! I have another exam on Thursday and I am majorly lacking in motivation to study... :(
Hi all, lots of reading for me so can only remember in detail a couple of posts so here goes
Nire, yay. Stoked for you.
Andie, I went down to 150 halfway through my IVF. E2 was at 5000 then went to over 23000. They stopped all drugs for two days before trigger. I got lucky with epu but had to wait for transfer. Still waiting actually.
The 'amp' stands for ampersand which is the name of the and symbol.
Jo if you are looking for work pm me with the kind of work you are looking for. I'm in HR and hough in NSW now I was in melb and have lOts of recruiter contacts.
Take care ladies. I'm off to Korea next week then hopefully a FET. Can't wait.
Nic I'm currently on CD61 :o …………..and STILL waiting to hear about a date for my lap. When I first went off the pill I had 2 cycles that were very long, one was like 50ish days and the other was up near 80! That's when I got referred to a FS and found out that it was due to me having poly-cystic ovaries.
:grouphug: to every one of you gorgeous ladies

Murraycod - Surprise natural BFP!!!
Vic261 - Faint second line on HPT @12dpo!!, confirmed by beta at 14dpo 166.8!!!
(I'll leave our long-awaited October BFPs here a little longer)
Hhhmmmm, nope. It is saying I don't have access to this function... Maybe I haven't been here a month yet... Could have sworn I was though!!! Lol!!!
I have my ultrasound in the morning- I am so nervous about it... I really hope y follies have been good and grown over the last 6 days!!! Otherwise I think this cycle will be cancelled for sure... Not exactly something I want to experience the day before a massive exam... Guess I should head back to the books...
:grouphug: to all!!! xxx
GOOD LUCK JO!! hope the US is good, and the exam goes smoothly xox
the request will pop in eventually... I was looking to PM you, and couldn't either, so you are probably right, if it doesn't kick in soon you can post a message in the help section and someone will look at it ;)
hope everyone is well.... I'm feeling a bit tender in my ovaries today (I think!)... maybe they know DH is home and it's going to be a busy week ;)
while it's unlikely, I'm still hoping I might get a natural surprise ;)
So with the synarel I freak out each time that it didn't spray properly and I didn't get a full dose. Did anyone else have the same problem??
I think I prefer injections :(
yes, and sometimes I give an extra spray/half spray if I don't feel it drip down throat. or if I end up spraying my face/nostral hole etc. ; )
oh yeah!! lol... I just kept trying to be 'rational'... and say.... "I pressed it properly and it'll be okay"..... I would ALWAYS get the yucky dribble down the back of my throat, 5 minutes later, so as long as I felt that, I knew it'd be okay ;)
at the beginning I worried often!!!
*ps.... kinda weird advising YOU for a change ;) (after all you are a know it all.... of the best kind.... )
Thanks :)
Awwww...I like to think I am a Know It All of the worst kind :( ;)
is it weird that I just saw Know It All... and immediately looked at the initials to realise it said... KIA.... and then thought of Killed in Action and thought.... is she trying to tell me something.....
oh my god... my pre ovulation brain is all over the place ;)
lol..... that's what I'm going to blame it on anyway....
All I am saying is sleep with one eye open :p
Thank Treenie, it always makes it easier to deal with things when you know your not the only one going through it and your not " losing your mind). Not sure if you've read an earlier post by me or not, but I do have PCOS also:-(
Good luck for AF when she decides to show up.
My last time it was this long was after I had my lapro, hysterscopy ( if that's how you say it) dye through tubes and D&C.
So who knows what's going on. certainly not me!!!
Jo you can add me to the list as ???? Lol
P.s good luck for the exam :-)
Hard to keep up with all the "newbies" :) Welcome to anyone new! And good luck, that your stay here may be short and sweet!!
No time for persies today...
AFM : Transfer day today!!! Am a bit nervous, please keep your fingers crossed for me! At least I know if this months FET doesn't work out, still another 6 frozen bubbies left... So no real pressure. Still would be awesome if this was it. Today is exactly one day before my wedding and almost 3 years since we started our TTC journey - please let this be it!
Myturn- fingers crossed for a BFP!!! Sending lots of sticky vibes your way!!! xxx
So at my appointment today I found out that there has been NO growth from my follicles in the last 6 days... FS and Nurse upped my Puregon dosage again- I'm now on 66.6 IU and I go back for another scan on Monday... Fingers crossed for some massive growth before then!!!
Good luck Jo with the higher dose! Fingers crossed!
Good luck also me4ever!
Thanks girls! So I'm PUPO now! It went well, 5 day blastocyst embie looking healthy apparently, they only needed to defrost the 1! So now the long wait till 20 november. (Today is exactly 5 months since we found out our first bub died, it's exactly one month to our wedding and the day of the blood test is my favourite brother's B'day. So partly all very positive! Also today my mother in law's missing hand luggage has arrived in Perth after having been missing for 2,5 weeks! Yay!) Off to acupuncture later, a late appointment unfortunately so another hours wait before I go!
Good luck me4ever. Hope it sticks for you. Are you in perth? If so what clinic? I am in Perth.
Also how much acupuncture is worth doing & when? I tried a while ago before ivf but found it boring & didn't feel it did anything for me. Just considering it again with this cycle.
Afm - all levels baseline for me so just need to wait for next bt next Wednesday.
Sorry for the selfish post but I need some advice: I had my bloodtest this morning but results came back as inconclusive as my hcg was only 42 at 16dpo.
Do you have any experience with hcg levels? Could my bubba still be viable?
I'm so shattered tonight I don't know what to think...
Stay positive nire. Anything is possible - certainly doesn't rule it out all together. Justin for the ride, cause there's nothing you can do whether it sticks or not... I found the only way to stay Dane was just to remind myself to go with it.... After all it does mean you are pregnant! Just not far along yet!
 be nice to yourself xox
sending sticky vibes to all of you!!
Hi All,
I've left belly belly some time ago to have a break from posting. I'm currently ttc and have been for 1 year now.
I have PCOS and endo, my husband and I had an ectopic pregnancy last year this time, I was lucky I miscarried naturally.
I'm off for a GP visit tomorrow and hopefully get a referral to public gyno unit to go in and have a look to see why we haven't fallen pregnant since.
I've previously been taking metformin, however decided to stop.
I'm wondering if anyone has used the progesterone creams? can you get them with out a script? are they very expensive?
I've tried to go the natural route, without much success.
I am looking for some advice and what should I do from here? honestly?
I look forward to getting to know you all and making some new friends that I can confide in and support in their dreams of falling pregnant.
Love Jokerred. xxoo
Nire- stay strong and keep positive thinking!!! Sending lots of sticky vibes your way!!! xxx
Welcome back JokerRed! I sincerely hope you get some answers soon, TTC is such an emotional process that is way past frustrating! Oh and I LOVE LOVE LOVE your signature!!! :)
AFM: I'm struggling to study for this exam tomorrow... Not looking forward to it at all!!! Just had my increased dosage of Puregon (66.6 IU) and it FREAKING HURT!!!! Not sure why this time it hurt, when it never hurt before... Maybe because I injected where there wasn't enough 'fat'...
Keep smiling lovely ladies!!! xxx
Nire, I'm sorry to hear you're in beta hell. Been there, done that and it sucks so much. :grouphug: If you did a fresh transfer, then the low number means the odds are against you. If you did a frozen transfer (I don't think you did though, did you?), then you have a slightly better chance because FETs are more likely to produce healthy slow-starters (than fresh cycles). I'm really sorry I can't give you better news. I'd be preparing myself for the worst, but I also wouldn't give up hope just yet. FX you have a little fighter there who catches up.
Jo, thank you very much for you help with the list. Could I impose upon you further to look after it a little longer? Explanation to follow below... FX the higher dose of FSH works for you. FWIW, it's still quite a low dose (lowest I've ever use is 75iu and that was for IUI). I think you said they were worried about over-stimming, didn't you? I'm guessing that's why they're playing it cautiously. Better to take it slow and find the right dose than over-shoot the mark and end up with too much. It's frustrating though.
N2L, the longest I was on synarel was 32 (very long) days. My FS had holidays so I started suppression at 7dpo as normal but had to wait until he returned before I could start stims. That was my first IVF and the worst s/e I ever had from the synarel (I couldn't even drive because it made me so dizzy). I would have to admit to a few extra half sprays like you describe too...
Me4ever, FX for you. :goodluck:
Hi and welcome to our new members too!! :hello:
Afm, we're back from our trip, but I saved the excitement for the end. We were packing the car yesterday morning to leave Coffs and head back home when I had a fall in the resort carpark and hurt my ankle. The resort manager ended up calling an ambulance to check for broken bones, so our departure was delayed by an hour. The staff were wonderful - there was someone there almost immediately after it happened and they helped look after DD (she even got a ride in one of their electric carts) while DH finished packing the car and checking out and while I sat in the carpark waiting for the ambulance. The paramedics said they thought it was just a sprain and that an x-ray wasn't required, but to see my GP today if it was worse. Well, this morning it was worse, so I went to see the GP and she wanted an x-ray, but I'm 12dpo and my BBT shot up this morning (following the same pattern as my BFP last year), so first I had to get a b/t to check my hcg levels. It came back negative, so I managed to get into the x-ray place just in time before they closed. Hopefully I'll get the results tomorrow and I'm really hoping they will show it is just a sprain rather than a fracture. I'm hobbling about on crutches and can't get to the computer much because of the need to keep my foot elevated, so not sure how often I'll be able to log in for the next few days. I'm really dreading AF since it's normally very, very heavy for me and I'm not going to be able to get to the toilet in a hurry. It's going to be a nightmare! I think I'll have to break out the heavy duty maternity pads and hope for the best... *sigh*
