Nire, I'm so glad to hear this cycle is going a lot better! FX for Monday!

Blossom, GL with your hysteroscopy! Metformin is used to treat insulin resistance (IR). In fertility, it is mostly used to treat PCOS patients who have IR, but it also sometimes seems to be used for less specific, but related, hormonal imbalances.

Metformin is normally used in Diabetes, but also used by some of us with unexplained infertility, mostly to stop ovaries from producing too many eggs. I'm pretty sure some of the girls that have PCOS use it, I was prescribed it when I started doing IVF and because I already respond to a little amount of gonal f with lots of eggs, trying to have less eggs and bigger and better quality ones.

There have been lots of studies which link metformin with improved egg quality regardless of IR or PCOS. I have been taking it for 12 months.

    Hi all!

Vic: good luck! Hope your lil embies behave themselves and stick like super glue, growing into beautiful little ones for you to cherish!

Jo: so sorry to gear about your news!

Wish&dream: good luck with this cycle! Hoe it all works like magic for you!!!

AFM- I'm 3 days past finishing my 7 day cycle of Provera and AF still hasn't shown up... I'm so anxious about her arrival!!! I just want to start my injections already!!! DH keeps asking me when we can start them (I think he thinks I'm gonna let him jab me :$) and so first thing Monday I will be on the phone to my FS to find out when I should start them... I just wish all our bodies worked the way they were supposed too!!!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!!!
