CatyO, did he say how much lower? It sucks hearing that kind of thing, but they have to make sure you're aware.

Whenever there's a 'new thread' link, it always takes me to a thread called Family Expectations from 2005. Anyone else get that? :/

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception October 2014

Guys, please don't do a post that says 'subbing'. It just makes the thread longer and more data to load for everyone else. It's just as quick to go Thread Tools, Subscribe to Thread.

Pholi - you might need to do the whole 'clear cache' etc thing. If you keep having problems, let someone no and we can see what else you can do to fix it.

Oh... Sorry, CatyO, I meant Amy Jellybean... How much lower is the live birth rate after 2 embryos are transferred compared to having one transferred.

Lenny, does that apply to a phone?

Thanks, Lenny. It's an iphone5, I use the BB app.

I checked what happens when I click your link in the first post in the new thread to the last thread 'following on from here' and I go to the same Family Expectations and Pressures Post. Weird!

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception October 2014

Hi guys. I'm going for a lap on 5th November. They may need to remove the left tube and we'll most likely start IVF after that. I'm a bit overwhelmed but also glad to be getting things moving.

I hope the transfer went well for you, Amy.

    How are you going, CatyO?

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception October 2014

Spoons, GL with the lap! I have a list of recovery tips on my blog (link in signature), which I use to prepare for my laps. If you can't find it, let me know and I'll PM a direct link to you.

    Amy, FX for your 2ww.

Afm, could use a quick vent, if no-one objects. Had 8 days of random spotting and bleeding (and constant pain!) before AF started and, although I normally have only a 4-5 day AF, days 5 and 6 have been the heaviest so far, including some big clots! I mean, seriously, WTF?!?!?!?!?!? AF should be finished by now and instead I have CD1-type bleeding!! It's Day 14 of bleeding (including the random stuff before AF proper) and I'm well and truly over it!!! Grrr....

Fingers and toes crossed Amy!! GL hun xx

Juniper, that bleeding sounds weird, I'd check it out hun. Maybe I'm way off, but could it possibly be a chem? Vent away hun, that's why we are here.

My cycle, on the other hand, is looking like it's coming to an end sooner than later. I'm CD22 and I've got spotting already, WTF? Little cramping too. Last time AF came on CD26, 3 days early. I'm picking up my meds tomorrow, and I almost feel like telling the nurse to re schedule the cycle as my cycles lately are a bit all over the place. I'm guessing they are getting shorter and shorter not due to my age. I suppose once I start jabbing the meds will take over. Sigh....

Caty, hope you're not losing your mind in the TWW, such a tough place to be in. Hang in there.

Spoons, sorry to hear you might lose the tube . GL with the lap in November.

    Hello to everyone else.

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception October 2014

Spoons, good luck with the lap.

Amy, I'll have my fingers crossed for you!

Juniper, vent away! It's bad enough we have to have Af we don't need it to last forever.

Miss B, good luck with your cycle!

Afm, I had EC yesterday they got 11 eggs (best so far for us) only 5 were mature enough but they have all fertilized. Now we have to wait & hope they make it to day 5! It would be nice to have some to freeze, but really as long as we have at least 1 for transfer I'll be happy transfer will be Monday by the looks of it.

Hi anyone else I might have missed
