Keen- I hope it works out, so you better get your bedrest and do what the dr orders. Can DH pick up the trigger for you? (I was able to do my first trigger injection last time - not that bad)

Unfortunately DH is at uni at the time when I need to go pick up the trigger. MIL could go but doesnt have the car at the moment and plus i need them to show me how to do it again, as I havent yet made it to trigger before...

Keen- it is the mixing of 2 to 1 and is subcutaneous ( I did mine in my belly). Good luck. If you become borderline in OHSS, have they considered doing EPU then freezing them all?

Oh Keen, hope it all goes well. Can someone pick up the trigger much earlier then maybe? I still don't understand how they can let it get that way, couldn't they have suggested u stop meds & trigger early to avoid this earlier? Grrrr when things are out of ur control.

How do they manage to count all the follies (without double counting) when there are more than 3 in 1 ovary? Using the d**** cam?

I personally don't recommend HPT. With both my BFP I didn't register as pg on any HPT - plus I believe it "does my head in"! Just my opinion though.

I know I shouldn't Sheree, but just can't help myself. I'm a very impatient person...& after hearing how many people have tested +ve before 12DPO, even more reason why I want to... :-)

Hey I hear you Shee, and believe me after 14 attempts I'm impatient too. But the clear result is only achieved by a BT. Do get me wrong, I'm not perfect and have done them in the past - I have a resolution now to not do them. I think it/they just had to the emotional rollercoaster unnecessarily - just look at some of the posts that have appeared on this site about them, they can cause more anguish than is needed. O:)

Yeah, I know, but still want to use 'em this mth. IIIIFFF it doesn't happen this mth, then maybe I'll be strong & not HPT.

Well 6 out of the 10 fertilised, which doesn't surprise me as I've never had more than six embies!

But again, still very happy as I'm hoping to get two good blasts by day 5, and we're on the right track for at least 2! That's not too much to ask, right, to get two?

Keen, I hope that at the very least, they let you get to OPU, even if you have to freeze 'em and do an FET next time. I will be [-o< hard that at least that much happens.

I sure hope so! For some reason, I'm very excited about this cycle. I guess it's coz we're trying something different. Also had my sister over all day with Chiara and we spent the whole time talking babies. I enjoyed having my little neice over and am more convinced than ever that the time is right for me to have another child.

So bring it on!

Shell, like Sheree I have viewed to no longer use HPTs, but I tell you it is hard to resist the urge and everyone to their own thats for sure. I just hope you get great accurate results if you do succumb to your urges! Be sure to let us know either way!

So guys.... IM HAVING AN OPU!!! Yaye! Cant believe it! Not sure yet whether will make it to transfer but will definitely be having these eggies rescued! Yaye! I have the trigger at midnight tonight and pick up is 11:30 on Wednesday! I cant tell you the relief I feel right now.

I have to continue bedrest until OPU and to have very light, but regular meals, and has been suggested I drink carbonated drinks because helps release some of the pressure and excess gas that is buidling up :oops: .... heee hee

Oh dont mind me Im giddy as a schoolgirl.... (BTW what the hell does giddy mean anyways & who says that ??). Well am really feeling positive and hopeful and am sure we will have success, just feel as though someone (perhaps my dad "up there") is working hard to get things going my way.

Will no doubt be on again tomorrow... will be looking to see how Ali went with her OPU...

Oh, in case I didnt mention it already.... YAYE!

I will wait till Friday or weekend to HPT - if I get DH to go buy me one I cannot bring myself to - at least 15 dpo -I have one in drawer but want a super sensitive one.

why are they making me wait an extra week almost - is this because of progesterone level (taking Crinone) can't be Pregnyl - trigger was 13 days ago and had one shot 1500 iu after transfer last Saturday - this extra waiting is just extra torture

I had my OPU today, we got 15 eggies from 11 follies, am sooo happy with that. Will ring tomorrow to get their progress and if all is going well will transfer on Wed!

Too much to keep away, so heaps of checking this week. With all the excitement I think it might make my wait for AF quicker.
I have to go back to the clinic at week 3 to get the details for my FET, as it is a Hormone Replacement Therapy FET I guess I need a schedule of what to take & when.

Trish – I have been waking in the middle of the night too – must try your method of getting back to sleep as watching the clock tick over just aint cutting it!

Ness, Trish, Mel, Bee, and anyone else I’ve forgotten in the TTW – have everything crossed for you, even the hairs on my chinny chin chin (such a lovely side effect of PCOS.. they may as well come in handy for something!)

Am not so hopeful for myself as I had some spotting today. I think the witch is on her way. Have not taken it very well. Not a very good birthday present at all. Am more feeling sad for DH than myself. But we’ve got snowbubs in the fridge so I guess all is not yet lost. But as DH said, we’ll wait until we get the results of the BT (Wed) before we make plans to cross any bridges...

Sorry to be such a downer when there’s so much positive stuff going on in here!! I'll be the black sheep if it means all of you lovely ladies can get the results we've been praying for!! I'll be happy to tinker in here talking to myself! tee hee :D

I only just realised a RegNurse I used to work with may have had PCOS - knew she had infertility problems and no children.She had a 11'pm clock shadow - very bad case (she worked night shift but by morning full on black stubbly beard growth) I alway felt for her. No wonder she worked nights - people can't see so well in dim lights. I hope yours is okay - no offense. I knew she was embarassed about it I thought it must have male hormones causing it.

Babydreams I didn't ask because didn't think about it after ET. I think they only do them Mon Wed Fri - so I might ring and ask for Monday ?

Thanks Trish! You’re too sweet. I’m sorry – what is DPO? I had a transfer on the 13th. Blood test tomorrow. But what I thought (hoped) was spotting has turned into full technicolour AF (sorry –probably too much info) so hopes are all but dashed. Am feeling a bit numb.

Am hoping, praying, meditating on good results for everyone else though. Hang in there girls, am sending lots of :bluestick: :pinkstick: :luck: :pdust: :bdust: your way!!!

BTW guys, trigger shot = ouch! Its a biggen isnt it! Thanks to everyone for their well wishes I am so excited and hopeful. Not sure if will make it to ET this time but will at least have all our eggies frozen and ready to go, rather than allowing them to go to waste. Tranfer likely on Monday, if it is a goer. Then BT would be around 10 August... OMG, sounds SO far away - Im going to be such a pain in the a$$!

Yay on getting to OPU!! I'm soooooo happy for you! Even if you don't get an ET this month, you know there'll be many cycles to come where you won't have to go through the suspense of a stim cycle again.

And yes the trigger shot hurts like a bugger. I can still feel it where DH stuck me with it.

All going well, my BT will be on the 7th of August, so you, me and Ali will definitely be TWW buddies!

Well, I am still quite sore. But I trooped into work anyway becoz I can't afford to take any more days off sick than I have been taking lately.I figure I sit down all day so it won't be so bad.

Will post again at around 2pm after I've checked on the 6 bubs (hopefully there is still 6) to update on their progress.
