Mich - Sorry for the BFNs babe :hug:. Please don't leave it up to me because I can just feel a BFN coming for me in the morning. I don't see any reason that FS won't support a move to IVF usually they push it after 3 IUIs. I hope the appt gives you what you want. Well done on the weight loss.

Saffy - I so don't miss the IVF drugs or how they make you feel, poor thing. Yay for some well earned days off :dance: its nice that you won't have to try and work around your EPU or transfer, got any other things planned?. I know it is hard not to worry about egg numbers but I have probably heard more positive stories from small numbers than from people who got heaps. :goodluck: I think you might be TWW by yourself for a little while but we'll be here cheering.

Tasha - Love the avatar it looks great. Just Mich needs one now then everyone has one. I wanna go on the avatar diet we all look so hot! I had valium for embryo transfer but not IUI but I see no reason why you couldn't. Lucky you, new car! Hehe hot Valenties date with your FS, nice!! :lol:

Minnie - Yes just go for it if we stopped for every set back we'd never get anywhere.

Joeve - I did 150mg clomid one cycle and still didn't O my ovaries are just too stubborn! How's it going?

AFM - Well No Fun Feb is going well I am feeling great and have lost 2.1kg in 6 days with zero exercise and never going hungry. I have had no cravings for anything junk like and the thought of sweet or fatty food actually makes me feel a bit ill. I am still planning to do my juice fast tuesday to thursday just to see how it feels. I will go for a BT on tuesday to confirm my very much expected BFN and get my drugs for IUI ready for when AF gets here.

I spent all day yesterday with my friends (the ones where the partner was my donor for 2 months before he just stopped retuning my calls! I still do not know what happened there but I haven't brought it up, water under the bridge.) I have a sore left arm from holding their bub all day long :D. He is only 8 weeks old but she has told me I can have him to look after whenever I like for as long as I like (she's a bit exhausted the poor thing) so I am hopefully going to have him at my house for a few days next week, I'll be in baby bliss mode :dance:

Wow Sunbeam, I admire your will power with the diet. I think I should do a short "detox" regime or something to stay motivated :D
I also wish I could be in the headspace that you're in where you can't get enough of other people's babies. Right now - I can't avoid them enough!! :redface:

BT confirmed a BFN for me. I'm so glad I'm seeing FS tomorrow, I have zero patience :rolleyes:

mich: sorry about the negative :hug: put the hard word on the fs tomorrow to get moving to ivf if you want to do that. thanks for the goodluck, like sunbeam im not holding out a lot of hope for tomorrow, the blood test tuesday will get me a real answer i suppose, as i was saying to sunbeam it seems weird we could both be starting ivf drugs next week

saffy: how are you going ? do you do your trigger tonight ? i should probably move to the ivf thread but far out is it busy in there and i just couldn't keep up with everyone

Good news- I lost 1.2kg last week on my diet, thats with no evercise and while injecting! WOOHOO!

No side effects from clomid so far last pills were last night. I did get a bit of a hot flash yesterday but was running in the treadmill so not sure if it was just because I was hot!

Good luck tomorrow Saffy, eat some chicken feed and lay away!! :D
Joeve - I'm glad the high dose isn't affecting you too much.

FS appointment went well and I'm on the way to IVF. Exciting!
But... of course I have to wait to start anything. I have a nurses appt on 14 Feb - Valentine's Day, how romantic! :lol: Then start synarel on Day 2 of the following cycle (I can't do the day 21 thing because I often have shorter than 21 day cycles if not on progesterone). So it looks like I have next cycle off and am not really sure when things properly get started at this stage?? Dr Google, here I come, ha ha.

Mich - Yes I'm sure the Universe will listen if we complain....NOT :tmi:! Not going to stop us trying though is it, we're tougher than that!! Yay for starting on the IVF train, that's 2 of you with appts on Valentines day must be lucky as its my best friend's birthday. I guess I'm lucky I don't have a problem with other people's babies only with pregnant women. When my friends are pg I tend to avoid them but once the bub comes I'm okay.

Saffy - Great news on the weight loss babe. Sending you heaps of luck for tomorrow :goodluck::goodluck::goodluck:. Sit in a wire cage and eat chicken feed was always my brother's advice for good egg laying :lol:

Minnie - I hope tomorrow's bt brings good news. There has to be a BFP hiding somewhere in here.

Joeve - :rofl: heheh it's not a hot flush if you are working out it's called sweating!! Glad the higher dose has been okay for you, I never felt any effects either.

Tasha - Only just over a week till FS then you can get finished with this cycle, I bet you'll be glad to see the back of it.

AFM - I have decided not to bother having a bt tomorrow I will use up my last pee stick and test but can't be bothered to go for a bt when I know the result. I will go for a scan on cd2 to see what's going on with my lining (still no one has any idea where it is going, or not going!) and start IUI drugs.
Juice fast starts tomorrow, I'll let you know how I go.

I'm just sitting up worrying about this chicken pox vaccine thing :( I had blood taken today and I know they're going to call and tell me I'm not immune. :doh:
Minnie- can you help? Did your clinic mind when you said you didn't want the vaccine? They don't enforce it do they? I think I'd have to have 2 shots 28 days apart and then wait for a month and then wait for a new cycle to start. Torture! I've been around chicken pox so many times and never got it and I don't spend much time around children. I really don't think I'm at much risk???!!! Just paranoid that the clinic will refuse treatment unless I have it :(

Mich: don't stress, they can't make you do anything, it's just their job to tell you you aren't immune, advise you to speak to your gp & then make your decision. I just said I wasn't going to have it done & they said I'll just make a note of that & that was the end of the topic :hug: they cannot force you to have a vaccine injected into your body & can't refuse you treatment if you say no either

Mich - I'm glad you can relax now you know about the chicken pox thing. Isn't it wierd the things we have to stress about, like this journey isn't hard enough already!

Saffy - Waiting to hear how many are in your basket.

AFM - Another BFN today. I called FS to see if he had thought of anything to help me have a proper AF and he has put me on Provera so hopefully that will do the trick. Not sure what you want to put on the list, I am cd40 and at least 7 days till AF!

saffy: i hope today went well and you get some good embies and aren't too sore

sunbeam: sorry for the bfn, i think trying provera is a good idea to see if it makes a difference

afm: test was negative as i knew it would be so no more progesterone for me and i will start ivf injections when af arrives (hopefully monday)

I am a bit cranky today could it be the extra 50mg making me cranky? I am not sure I will get an u's this month as last month it showed a ripe follie that went to poo so no point really I will rely on bt!

Saffy - Congrats on the weight loss, and doing nothing to lose it, even better ha ha. How did you go with the eggs today? Hope they got a nice juicy one!

Joeve - It's great that you don't have many side effects. FX it works this time round :)

Sunbeam - Juice fast, I simply could not do it! I am hungry ALL the time :lol: Good luck with it all. And does provera make you have a thicker lining? I suspect I will be put on it to induce AF for my IUI cycle. And I have always had very light AF, which concerns me :/

AFM: FS next week, but DH police checks aren't even finished yet :( I called today to check on the progress. She said they are waiting on more stuff and they are another 10 business days away! I need them or we can't start the IUI. Don't know if there is any point paying for the FS appointment if we cant move forward in it.

Hi girls, not a good chook me, only got 4 eggs but hopefully one or two are good. Everything went well, having a transfer on Thursday so will be in the tww sooner than i thought!

Tasha - such a romantic Valentine's day we'll have! You've been waiting for ages for an appointment. I would think if you saw the FS, he could just write up your drug protocol for IUI and hopefully you could just start the drugs to bring on AF once all the clearances arrive? I don't understand why some states would need police clearances and not others. I'm so relieved we don't - I don't know if my partner would pass!!! He wasn't an angel in his youth but nothing serious :shhh:

AFM - I'm spotting so AF will probably arrive tonight. Since I've got nothing to do this month, I'm borrowing a cross trainer from partner's dad to get super healthy (in front of the TV) :)
