I am back and i have some good news we had an A grade 8 cell perfect text book looking embryo TF the scientist said it was a beautiful embryo.
The TF was easy and quick we got to see our embie before it was TF and it looked awesome so i now am in the tww with my BT scheduled for the 2nd of August :o seems so far away when a HPT will show up in 2 weeks but i will just go with what they say.
Thanks for all the good luck wishes it has paid off i couldn't have asked for a better quality embryo.

I have my appointment tomorrow with the FS...feeling nervous. Hope we can start after our next cycle and that he thinks it is worth a try (latest thing I've convinced myself he won't think it is worth it after the last appointment in Jan when he congratulated us on a great result (falling pg) AFTER the mc...does that mean he thinks that is the best we can hope for???)

Oh! i forgot to add DH swimmer test was normal this time a bit lower amount but better quality 52 million per mil and 97% motility and above the 15% normal forms required to pass the WHO critera that was what the scientist told us she didn't give us the exact morphology just said if it is below the 15% then they note it down if it's normal they don't make a note of it so i am very happy.
But it doesnt explain why we couldnt get pregnant.

Alice hope you have a great appointment tomorrow with your FS. I have decided to go visit SIL for a few days later this week and next week we have another appointment to fill out the consents etc. Haven't spoken to DH about what we will do if one of us dies/seperate etc guess we will need to know before then so no arguements in there lol.
Alice- of course it's worth trying i hope you leave the appointment with some positive news.

Alice - Good luck today. It's worth a shot. I'm sure if he thought that that was all you were going to get then surely he would have said that and not implied? I think you have a shot.

Morning ladies,
DH and i talked last night and with a 30% chance of this embryo sticking (the scientist said because we have been pregnant before that increases our odds a little) we are going to ring our FS today and make an appt for just after the BT date just incase it doesnt work that way we can hopefully start another cycle with the following AF i don't want to get caught out with having to wait months to get into see her.
Hopefully we wont need to but i'd rather be prepared.

Porsche-you might have to do the whole going out wearing white pants and leaving the tampons at home to tempt fate.
Good Luck Ferrals. That's really good news about your transfer. I've got FX for both of us.

:happyforyou: FERRALS like I said you only need 1 good embie and I guess they don't get better than a grade A so take it easy and rest up the TWW will soon be over and then you can celebrate in style here on BB,
Alice FX'd you get some good news and advice today remember what you told me ( Go in there and tell them what you want and be positive don't let them fob you off )

Ferrals - good on you for such a great transfer. You've got everything on your side so far. Now the wait........... At least you're being practical about getting an appointment for next cycle, but I reckon you won't need it. FX (I'm on the CC too - which clinic do you go to?, I'm at IVF Aust)
Crafty - looks like you're riding that TWW rollercoaster and are at the 'definitely not pregnant' part. All the hunches in the world can't predict the BT results tho - good luck :goodluck:
Porsche - how's the white outfit working out for you? Sounds stunning!
Alice - hope your appointment goes well. It's so funny how FSs look at things sometimes. Mine told me again the other day that my uterus is just too good because it lets embryos implant that probably shouldn't - and then I miscarry. I just wonder what world he is living in where the uterus of someone TTC for several years (in total) is too good :confused: Anyway, hope it goes well
Mildez - I'm going through IVFA - I've found them really good, but don't know any different
I had a BT today to see if my hcg has all gone - it won't have - and have a scan tomorrow to see what to do next. The nurses mentioned the free counselling at the clinic again today but I don't want to do it. Has anyone else used it and found it useful??? I really think I'm doing ok without it

Porsche-Thats the way i see it if i get a BFN then i am all prepared to start another cycle at the end of August but if we are lucky and get a BFP i can always cancel the appt so yeh i hope i am tempting fate.
Crafty-I know what you mean i am feeling a bit the same i am already organising my next ivf cycle i don't want to get my hopes up.
Kaybee-I am at westmead IVF they have been awesome so far and really cheap so far i have spent about $2,000 including all medications u/s BT the lot and i will get $750 back in a few weeks so i think that is great compared to my $14,000+ that i forked out at SIVF.
We saw the counselor once because we had to at SIVF but i have found my own way to deal with the loss of Abbi so i think if you feel you are doing ok then that is good but they are handy if needed.
AFM-Made my FS appt for the 5th of August 3 days after BT date just to be safe so we can get straight back into it if need be but u hope we have to cancel only time will tell.
Speaking of time they are making me wait 3 weeks for a BT when a HPT will show up in 10 days as i am now 1dp3dt so that would be like 4 days past O i stop the crinone on the 25th which is in 12 days so if i am not pregnant AF should show up not long after that but if it were my natural cycle my AF would be due on the 20th which is in 7 days.
DH and i went out and brought 3 boxes of HPT i don't know when i will start testing i am to chicken.
Ferrals I'm day 4/5 past O. So might be just ahead of you. AF is due next Thursday 22nd. Lets hope she says away!
