Sunbeam - is the transfer tomorrow? You must be dying from anticipation.

Alice - hope you are getting a basket full of eggs.

SammyP - I got my last BFP on Christmas day too :-( As for your BFN, maybe it really is too early? 26th day is early, unless your cycles are really short.

Thopes - I have high hopes for you :-) I always got AF-like cramps before BFP. This, and this "wet" feeling from lots of CM (sorry for TMI). I was checking my pants every 10 min for AF, it really felt like she is here.

intheslowline - I love camping! You deserve some relaxation. Bummer about the pregnant friends. I understand you COMPLETELY. My very close friend made the "I am pregnant" announcement right before my b-day, and then I had to see her for my b-day bash. It helped that I vented to another friend that understands the pangs of jelaousy, because she is in a similar situation to mine. So vent here girl all you want, we will NEVER EVER think badly about you for this. And it really helps.

AFM - AF is playing the head games with me! I am almost tempted to take another test, but the BFN is harder for me to swallow then when AF just comes. At least then I know I am on CD1 - new start, as opposed to "how long do I have to wait for AF now".

thanks for all your feedback ladies! Lots of cramping again this morning, feeling very flat and lost all my confidence! Im sure AF is coming :( I caved this morning and bfn of course :crying: 9DPO today, i know its early but i just cant see anything ever working ... sorry to be so down... an insensitive preg friend txt me this morning about putting in $ for another preg friends baby shower, caught me off guard and has upset me... And i havent been able to sleep the last 4 nights so im wrecked, emotional and pre-menstrual!! look out!!!

Oh THopes :hug: hang in there gorgeous, you are only 9 DPO and there are so many good signs there for you, it is very early, sorry for telling you to POAS, give it a few more days and I'm sure AF won't come....as for your friend that sucks just ignore the text. I can understand how you are feeling so stressed, when you can't sleep you feel worse and its a vicious cycle. Can you do something nice and relaxing today? Sending lots of hugs and support xxx

T-hopes - I get lots of cramping when I fall pregnant. It's not over yet sweetie. I'm sorry you are not sleeping (also a pregnancy sign for me). Damn those silly friends with their careless texts. If only they knew how much little things can hurt. Have a good cry today if you need to.

Luna - The good thing about my being so old is that most of my good friends have already had their families so I don't have be around pregnant people too often. Even the Mother's Group I was in seem to have all finished their families.

AFM - I got up twice in the night to go to the loo which I only do if I am pregnant so I was sure I would get a positive test this morning but no, another BFN. It did occur to me afterwards that maybe I just have a urinary tract infection. Oh well, I will test again tomorrow as I am seeing the FS and it would be great to arrive pregnant and ask for the support they offered straight away. I don't have a regular cycle these days, usually between 28 and 35 days so I could just be testing to early. Also I have a tendency to ovulate late in the cycle so I'm only at 27 days and may have to wait and see a bit longer.

Thanks for the kind words everyone, and GOOD LUCK to all those undergoing cycles in the next couple of weeks.

Have to go pack. I'll look in and say high when we're back.

T-Hopes way too early to test just ignore the result I have never never got a pos test result until AF is due and I had 9 kids I know what I am talking about sometimes you feel depressed just thinking about what your doing and prepair your self for the worst but it means nothing so put those damn tests away until monday !!!! you hear me relax and think well what will be will be there is nothing I can do today to change it so enjoy the day and think of something else !!! Try to think positive if the worst comes to the worst then there is always next month, when I did IUI I got a BFP on the 2nd try !


saffy hope AF is here soon, sammyP give yourself time its still early days maybe too early for testing !!
Luna be patient your BFP will come soon just have to wait a while maybe in a few days maybe next month but be brave and keep going !

Alice hope your pick goes well thinking of you !

Sunbeam any news yet when is trans ? how exciting !!!!

AFM well tummy settled at long last headache gone phew thats a releif, boobies still shooting pains every now and then but just keep going and waiting not testing until I am late !!!
For those of you that know I am going to be a grandma soon, my DIL is booked in for a C section on the 11th oct as the baby is breach and they tried to turn it yesterday but no go little bugger likes being bum first !
Not sure how I feel except very sad to know I will not get a cuddle as they are in the UK and I am here in Perth WA so that makes it somehow feel unreal ( does that make sense ? ) oh well busy knitting a few layettes to send over for the arrival as its cold in the UK now but had to do lemon and green and white as we don't know what she is having ( I think I need to do blue next ) just a guess !

thanks girls - you have made me feel a lot better! Im trying to think of it this way 'if it is a bfn, then im about to start our 1st ivf cycle in 6 days time!'

crafty - so glad your feeling better! shooting boobie pains huh! sounds good to me!! i cant beleive your grandchild is due in the next few weeks! where has that time gone! i remember when you 1st told us!! seems like only a few months ago!!

saffy - thx... my gf just picked me up from work for a quick lunch which was just what i needed! she so great to talk to cause she has been thru all this, 3 losses and many unsuccessful ivf cycles... she gives me so much hope cause she is now 21wks with twin girls! xx

sammyP - thx lovey, i haven never had this sleepless night thing! driving me nuts! sleep for 10mins and wake up, sleep for an hour and wake up etc etc! Poor DH was awake all night cause i was so restless!

Good afternoon all, just wanted to pop in and introduce myself to you all, not sure if I should be in here or somewhere else on BB. My DF and I have been TTC now for over 2 years we have had 1 missed MC and 1 BFP only to turn into a huge BFN 3-4days later. I have only just started taking Vitamin B6 to hopefully help lengthen my LP which can be any where from 5-9days every cycle, averaging mostly at 9days. It's CD12 for me today and I'm hoping to O in the next few days, maybe, not really sure any more, I have a DRs appointment at CD19 for BTs for a full hormone check and waiting on the results to come back from them. After they are done they may send DF and I into our closest city for a SA for him and also to check my tubes for any blockages. I never thought we would indure so much of a challenge TTC as when I fell PG with my DD, whom is 5 this Sunday, it seemed so easy after coming off the pill I was PG with in 6months. But that's my story for now, I look forward to getting to know you all in here, thanks for reading.

T-Hopes - Listen carefully, cramping is a good sign! Two days before my first BFP I was so crampy I got up in the night and put a tampon in becasue I was entirely conviced AF was just about to start! I always know its a BFN if I get no cramping so don't go giving up yet plus a BFP on dpo9 is unsual so it means nothing so listen to Crafty and stop stressing yourself out.

SammyP - I once got pg on cd25 so yes cd 27 might be just a bit early if you are a late O'er like me. Good luck

AMF - Well it seems I might have caused a bit of confusion. My ET was this morning at 10.30 (same time as Alice's EPU). FS and I discussed one or two but he was happier with one as he thinks I stand a very good chance of falling pg and he would rather aviod the higher risks associated with a twin pg. So little blastie is now hopefully snuggling in down there. I even have a photo of it, it seems so wierd to think that it grew outside me and is now inside. It is a lovely stormy wet day here on the Gold Coast so I happily snuggled in bed watching Grey's Anatonmy and staring at the picture of my little embie.:p We also have one to freeze for definite and a possible second, they will let me know tomorrow. :dance:

Hello there Clairesmum :welcome: to our part of the world !

We are all on here different ages and different circumstances but with 1 big thing in common we have all mcarried and all finding it hard to get pg again ! so we all understand what you are going through, I think the best advice I can give is to be patient and beleive in yourself and your body thats one thing you can do for yourself, next try taking supplements the girls on here take so many different ones and 3rdly look out for the tell tail ovulation signs ie slight pain on either side lots of clear stringy mucus and Bdance every few days from day 12 until you think you have ovulated thats about it really you can get Ovulation prediction tests from the chemist they are great at pin pointing the day you get your LH surge just before ovulation so there is lots you can do to help things along, but alas it still takes some of us many many months to get a BFP so FX yours will be just around the corner you are still young !

I hope that little blastie is snuggling in good and tight and you are on your way to a BFP. What sort of support have they given you? Are you taking Clexane (blood thinner) or anything like that? So lovely to have a little photo - I've never been given that option. They look like little suns don't they? So amazing to see them moving and sparking with all that life. I'm always in awe of it each time I've seen one. Rest up and wrap that hope blanket around you - I'm sending you lots of love and hugs xx

T-hopes darling :hug: for today with how you are feeling. Please please trust me after many years of IVF I can say that it is impossible to tell just now it really is you have as much reason to hope as you do to despair but today is not the day for despair. It will happen for you, you have very good chances so try stay positive. And I hope you can get some sleep, like Saffy said, everything feels worse when you have had no sleep. So glad you had a lovely friend to give you some comfort today. Hang in there, one day at a time. x

Crafty just wanted to say while I was waiting to go in today I was reading a trashy mag and John Travolta's wife is pregnant at 47! So there you go, you can do it!!

I've been so unwell since the EPU this morning - I've never had this sort of pain from an EPU before - don't know what is causing it. I've rung the nurses and they are telling me if it doesn't improve to go to RPA. I went for a little walk, hoping it will help but still very very uncomfortable, sharp pains and extreme bloating. Luckily I'm staying over in Sydney tonight at a good friend's house so if I have to go to hospital I'll be close. Bit upsetting really because everything went REALLY well otherwise. 7 eggs!! And at least 5 of them mature so wow, who'd have thought my girls still had that in them!! Now for the next hurdle...will they fertilise? I hope so. FS is adamant that only one will be going back - too much risk for me at my age for another mc. Going to heat up the wheat bag again now and rest some more and hopefully will feel better soon. xx

Alice my sweet that is awesome news, 7 is a very lucky number :clap:. I will be crossing everything that you get a great fertlilization rate. :crossfingers: I am so sorry you are not feeling well from your EPU though, that sucks. Make sure you head back in to the hospital if you are in the least bit worried things are not right. I hope you feel better soon. Thank you for all the warm welcomes everybody, it feels so good to be able to share my problems with other ladies that have been and or are going through the same thing as I am.
Craftymummy- Thank you for your advice I appreciate it, I have been doing OPKs this cycle and last I got my +ive yesterday and they have all been -ive today, also have been temping since my MC in April I haven't had my temp rise as yet this cycle. I hardly ever seem to get copious amounts of stringy CM my CM (sorry if TMI) gets slippery and I feel wet down there but it doesn't seem to get stringy, is that a bad thing? We started DTD on CD9 this cycle and have been doing so every 2nd night and think maybe this time we will keep DTD until AF arrives or not arrives.....lol.....I usually O on about CD16 or later and only have 25-28day cycles depending.
Alice- I hope you are feeling better soon darl, I have no clue what so ever about anything to do with IVF or assisted conception of any sort but I can tell you I totally admire any woman that goes through it and your strength to go through it is truly inspiring to me.
So when I read about anything to do with IVF and or assisted conception I have no idea what anybody is talking about.
Good luck to anybody who is waiting for thier BFP.

Did anyone hear on the TV this morning about the gender bias they have discovered in IVF babies? There are 56% boys born to IVF- I was really disappointed when I heard this!! *embarrassing* I know its stupid but I would really love a girl and if we only ever have one baby, I would be so sad never to have a girl. Yes I know I have to get pregnant first and I know that a healthy baby of any sex would be a miracle and I'm sorry if I offend anyone by saying that but I can't help it. Anyway, I need AF to arrive first before anything else so better not jump the gun!!

Saffy- I'm with you. I will be happy with a baby either way but in my heart I have always longed for a little girl. Don't be embarrassed the heart wants what the heart wants we don't have control of that. Yes I am very happy to be PUPO :D
