MelissaI - Oh hun... that is so full on and what a situation to have to deal with :hug:. Life is totally unfair sometimes... like you said, ART is hard enough as it is let alone having to deal with any added complications :shakehead:. Hopefully now that you have a confirmed diagnosis your FS will be able to give you the best chance possible of achieving your BFP :crossfingers:.

AFM - Got a call from the nurse and she said that my estrogen has risen from 313 to 513 so I am at the early stage of ovulation... I am having mild period like cramps as I am writing this so I am 99.9% certain it is happening right now :)!
Having another BT tomorrow morning so am sure this will confirm and then will be able to book in a transfer (hopefully!).
If ovulation occurs today and I have a blastie to put back does that mean it would be put back on Saturday? Does anyone know how it works?

Coral- you add 5 days after your o day, some blastys are 6 days so then obviously you would add 6 days. If you O'd tomorrow, it would be Sunday for a day 5 blasty, depends whether your clinic does transfers on Sun or not, if they don't they will do it a day earlier. Good luck!!
Melissa- big hugs hun, you must be so frustrated, its so complicated for you, that is so unfair. I hope your jabs go ok, and your FS is able to see you through to a great pregnancy xx

Hi to everyone else - loops, n2l, melissa, and anyone i have missed.
AFM, had scan today and saw lovely sack with little peanut with beautiful heartbeat, measuring 6w and 3d. This is 3d ahead of what i thought. According to the OPK i o'd on day 17, but according to bloods and scan it was day 14, so i dont have any faith in those things anymore - and i never had a test line that was as dark as the control line so was always second guessing it anyway.
So anyway girls, i will love you and leave you, wish you all joy and happiness and follow with interest your stories to see your dreams come true in the near future. You have been wonderful support in times of need. Love to you all, bless. J.

Thankyou everyone for your wishes =) All went good. Both our little embryos survived being thawed, one was 92% one was 95% which they said was excellent. The doctor then went on to say how perfect my bits were down there (not in a creepy way) but saying my cervix and mainly my mucous was perfect, the most fertile he has ever seen and scored it 10/10. and was even more impressed when i said this was a natural cycle cause he wanted to know what drugs i took to get it like that. all me baby!!! so hopefully these litttle ones are just as perfect (im sure they are) and have lapped up all that perfect fertile mucous and are snug in their warm bed growing away!!
Ive been getting ahead of myself and looking at tickers etc...tyring to stay level headed, but very hard.
We met our puppy last night. I'm worried about taking it cause as of next week i'm going to be working 1 1/2 hrs away for 8 months.. so will be back on days off, but i'm worried about having a new puppy and me being away. DH will be here, (when not at work) and he would be doing a majority of the training etc cause i havent done it before.. but yea making me a little nervous. but he was cute. and I do want a dog. (and a baby!)

Me - day 2 of Puregon today - woohoo!! I can never remember from cycle to cycle when I actually start feeling the effects of it all. I think I am just so scared of having a cycle from hell like last time that paranoia has hit super early. I have a blood test on Monday to see how things are going so will be on tenterhooks until then. Appointment with the haematologist tomorrow so hoping he will agree to me having prophylactic stuff so I don't bleed like a stuck pig again :p

We've BD'd a little bit over the last couple of days but unfortunately Ive had a little bit of an irritation problem downstairs ;) which doesnt really put me in the mood too well, also I've done something to my neck and I dont know how but its killing me, I can hardly move it from side to side. Have heat packs on trying to recover so that we can have another go. We both had our acupuncture on Wed, which was great - DH went well and we have some Chinese herbs coming. She also gave DH some needles for smoking cravings :) Hope they work.

quiet in here at the moment - hope that means everyone is enjoying their weekends. I'm unfotunately working and also have the flu - bluhh :cold: Think that is why I got the very sore neck - now my glands are swollen.
Think I'm O'ing today too, little later than I first thought - hope I feel like DTD when I get home. My temp only went up today - last night it was very low. Havent really had a chance to do an OPT but pretty sure this would be time.

I felt nausea this morning!! who would have though i would get excited about that! I do feel different...but last time i was sure it worked...so FX atleast one of these little ones has held on. I have been so good had warm showers (not my normal boiling hot ones) havent had a bath in 2 weeks!! (a bath is my one favourite thing in the world), havent had an energy drink! have only had a coffee every 2nd day or so (which for me is maddness). havent drunk! despite me and DH having time off work and going to the pub i've been DD. its all about sacrifices, but the only thing that would make it worth while is getting pg. thats all i'm focusing on atm really...not having a baby...just getting pg cause i've never even gotten that far!then once i am pg i can then focus on having a baby =)

AFM - Detoxing from carbs at the moment. Almost a week down and I have lost just over a kilo. Hard to be exact as I have AF. Another nine days to go before I start to slowly reintroduce complex, low GI carbs one at a time....Life without carbs is difficult. No flours, no starch vegetables (potato, carrot, corn, peas, pumpkin, etc), no bread, pasta, rice, wheat, sugar, fruit, juice, and no saturated fat either (not that they are carbs but that is part of the plan I am on). Ah well....*sighs*
I posted in another thread that I checked my online Medicare Tax Statement and worked out that last financial year just gone I spent over $33,000 on medical expenses :o Un-fricken-believable.... Infertility costs big bucks apparently.... :rolleyes:

N2L - holy cow, that is a LOT of money to have spent on treatments. Hoping the next one will have a fab ending so you don't have to spend more. Well done you for losing 1kg. Its amazing how much of a difference cutting out breads and pastas etc does make. I found out I was coeliac a year ago, so cut out all that stuff and didn't really replace it and the weight fell off. Trust me, that it not something that happens to me so I was stoked.

Appointment went really well on Friday. If this cycle doesn't work, it sure won't be through lack of trying. So in addition to all the usual ivf drugs and yummy progesterone, I am having aspirin, antibiotics, steroids and progynova as part of colorado for my ana, then for my bleeding thing, I will most likely be having a type of blood transfusion twice a week to try and curb that. I had hoped like mad that transfusions would be suggested but I really didn't think it would happen. The haem said that we'd try it at EPU in a few cycles time (only using it this time if I was pg) but when I said that this cycle is the last, he agreed instantly to EPU transfusion which s awesome. We have NOTHING more to throw at this cycle. Bloods tomorrow, day 5 of stims and I have the BLOAT. Hope it means good stuff.

Hi just a quick one from me cause im on my phone. not as nauseous today but still a little. I have a strange taste in my mouth which is getting worse...feels gross and i want to scrub my teeth constantly cause my mouth feels yuck. had minor tiny bit of cramping the other day. all good signs. i might try to poas tomorrow but still might be too early. ill post more tonight girls. Hope everyone is ok!!!!

So I had my E2 done today. Stupid f-ing body. Last cycle, very little response. This cycle, after 5 days stims, my E2 is 7100 :o. I go back to the clinic tomorrow for a scan and more bloods but I am very scared that this will be cancelled. I know that if it is, it is for my own safety but don't know about you girls, but ivf takes SO much mental preparation for me and the thought of that being for nothing again is freaking me out. Does anyone know at what point/E2/no.follies a clinic will cancel or agree to a freeze all?

Sorry you are having a tough time of it. Not too sure about E2 but mine was over 15,000 on my first ever stim cycle and transfer was not cancelled then (all though there was a bit of umming and arring on my behalf, there was none really with the Dr) I hope they level out for you, how many days in are you?

N2L - Wow, you have lots of willpower. GL with your dieting, it's amazing how even losing a few kg's makes you feel so much better. I too have spent about $34k this year, $20k OOP, so will hopefully get some back at tax time. I still owe the surgeon $$$$'s for my hand surgery for which I am $9k OOP!!!

I'm still here :) Just a really quick one this morning as at work and things hectic as I wasn't in yesterday! Been MIA as DS been quite sick & we had a trip to the hospital on Sunday night (very upsetting but he has been given the all clear with a virus named as the culprit). Mum has him today :-)
Had FET yesterday - all went well so now I wait and c... will post more in 2WW thread when I get a chance.
