Hi to anyone else I have missed!!
AFM - Pickup on Monday (as I mentioned in yesterday's post). I had to have a scan on Wednesday on a big U/S machine. It gave a different result to the dildo cam in the FS office (which was on Monday). It showed five follies - 18, 15, 13 and 12mm on the right and a 9mm on the left. I dont trigger until tomorrow so that means I would have had four more doses of gonal f (including a "booster" tomorrow at lunchtime) before the pickup. Hopefully they will all mature, although I dont hold out much hope for the one on the left.
The scan also showed my endometrium lining at 12.4mm - hopefully it wont be too thick by transfer!!!
I have been Dr Googling today - never a good idea. I was diagnosed years ago with adenomyosis (also confirmed again by Wednesday's scan). There is a school of thought which sees this diagnosis as being a real problem for implantation. Some FS recommend only long, lown down reg cycles (I do antagonist).
Does anyone out there have adenomyosis? Have you heard anything similar? Really, really hoping I am not just wasting my time....

Hey N2L i dont know anything about your diagnosis but i have the NK Cells and that affects implantation so maybe talk to them about using 30mg prednisone, clexane 40mg and 1 x cardiprin which is what i am on to help with implantation??

Hi Girls, thanks for asking about my scan, it was good! I have a paraovarian cyst which is common and not connected to my ovary, just near it, so full steam ahead for this cycle, THANK GOD.
N2L- what is adenomyosis? I hope it won't affect your cycle, that woud be a major bummer, thats weird that the u/s gave different results, anyway, you should be good for pick up and the lining sounds great! Good luck for Monday FX

Melissa- :hug: sorry you got a bfn, at least we have alcohol to console ourselve with at times like these, I hope they make some decisions when they have their meeting, you aren't there are you? Strange to think they will be talking about you without you there, but hopefully they can put their brains together and get you UTD soon x

AFM- Jabs start on Friday, I was supposed to get a call last week from the accounts section of my clinic to run through my costs for this cycle, but no call, god they are hopeless. I hope there are no surprises as no one has told me how much it will be, I am just assuming it will be the same as last time for a subsequent stim, and I don't have any more so thats what they will be getting!!

Hi all :)
I have my egg pick up scheduled for Monday (tomorrow) at midday. I had my trigger injection of Ovidrel last night at 11pm.
This morning (about 9am) and I have some back pain and cramping. My boobs are aching too.
I am now starting to freak out that maybe I am ovulating now and they will miss the eggs!!!!
Has anyone else experienced cramping this soon after trigger? Do you think I am ovulating????
I would love to hear what you think!

If you are taking crinone already it might be the effects of that, but it won't matter anyway if you ovulated now they just need to do the transfer around the same time, not exactly- GL for tomorrow! x

Pickup is tomorrow Saffy so no crinone yet...I am just sooo worried that even though i have had the antagonist, I am ovulating. If I ovulate they wont be able to do pickup...:( :( :(
1MP - I have called the clinic. Waiting for a nurse to get back to me...(always waiting, waiting, waiting in this game!!) PS Hope AF is on its way!!!!!!!!

sorry N2l, I thought you meant transfer, just got up and brain not working yet, now I get what you mean. Yeah thats stressful, I hope they get back to you, is your clinic open Sundays?? Perhps you should get a BD in soon just in case, although I'm sure your'e not in the mood, good luck hun, the hormones probably giveyou all those symptoms and I'm sure it will still be alright xx

n2l - I had cramping and REALLY sore bbs after the trigger......I was totally sure that they would miss O, but they didn't. It was a scary 36 hours! I hope everything is as it should be xxx

Just did a mad dash into the clinic after speaking to the nurses (who rang the FS). I had a blood test. Home now waiting for the results.....(waiting is all I do nowdays!!)
Hopefully all is okay. I guess if it's not, it's better to find out now rather than when waking up groggy and sore from OPU.

Okay...just spoke to nurse (who spoke to FS about BT). Apparently there is a slight increase in my progesterone but she said "we would expect that after a trigger shot". My FS is happy to continue with the OPU tomorrow.
I know that is good news but midday tomorrow seems like such a long way away and I still feel a little worried!!
Hoping the follies stay strong and hold onto those eggs until then!

i'm over stupid nurses at the moment.....i got told this afternoon i am heavier than what they usually take......then the stupid cow proceeded to give me a lecture about problems of being 'heavy' in pregnancy etc.....really hurtful...i ended up in tears

I feel like I am busting. Then when I go only a drop or two (literally) comes out. Then I get tremendous pressure/pain in my cervix (i think it's my cervix)...
any suggestions?

hi girls its soo hard this journey and on top of it all the weight gain... I am now on 25mg of prednisone (steroids) as well and have put on about 10 kilos since i started...
I had been going to the gym 4 times a week and watching what i ate and it didnt shift much at all its so hard to shift it as its mainly hormonal around the tummy area, horrible.
I must say i have missed the gym as i am in 2ww so been a little couch potato.

Williever - yep, the bills are shocking! Especially when they come in gradually - you think you've got them all, then surprise! Another $500 for something :rolleyes: My latest ones came to about $11,000 fresh and $3200 frozen upfront - about $4000 and $1500 after medicare. Agree with you totally - hurry up and work!
Saffy - glad you've got the go ahead for this one :)

After peeing like a horse (and a man) all night, my bits seemed to have right themselves.
Just got a call from the nurse. Of the three eggs, two have fertilised and are now little embies. If anyone has any divide and grow vibes they would like to send my way (technically the embies way) please feel free to do so! :)

Hi girls well i am going absolutely mental in the 2ww i think im the only one in there, aarrgh!!
BT on friday have poas a few times some said positve others negative so have no idea could be the pregynl in my body too, cant stand the mind games that go on scary.
I freaked out yesterday as i decided to do chinese herbs this time as well and it has cost us a fortune and im there yesterday and found out i have been doing them all wrong and been taking 4 x the amount that i should of so i naturally freaked out all day yesterday and this morning until i rang my chinese doc today as my dh said too so i could put my mind at ease, as i thought i had probably done damage and that is why my fertilisation was so crappy and maybe id damaged the embie ive got on board but she said definately not ive just been fueling my body a little extra nourishment so thank god for that i was going nuts thinking about it.
Anyway only 3 more days...
I hope you a are all going ok girls.
N2L very exciting cant wait to hear that they have kept fertilising nicely tomorrow, when is your transfer.

Hi to Saff and anyone else I might have missed.
AFM ~ Finally got results of our BT's we had done before Xmas. It was for a range of fertility type tests - thyroid etc and they all came back normal and clear. In a way I was hoping they would find something that could then be fixed but I guess its a good thing also that they didnt. :dunno: Doesnt really give us any answers or bring us any closer to having our miracle :( On top of this we are broke due to DH's accident. But at least he is well on the mend. Sorry for the small vent

I got my bt results today and hcg was 1800. so it's doubling but is still very low. I'm booked in for an scan on Friday to rule out an ectopic. it will probably be too early to hear a heartbeat etc. I do feel a bit down as I was hoping for a whopping increase in hcg but I know it doesn't guarantee a successful pg.
n2l sending some growing vibes to your embies. Hope the tranfer goes well.
Blossum yes it gets a bit lonely in the 2ww. hope you manage to stay sane for Friday. That's strange that you're getting mixed results from HPTs. same brand?

afm - bt and scan on sat to see where I am. I picked up my progesterone today (yes 200 smackers!!). Met with my FS and all set to go. She reckons ET will be in about 2 weeks. I sat there and listened, but couldn't feel or show any emotion. It's like I'm numb. I can't think anymore. In fact, I just don't know how. I'm exhausted, stressed, worried, anxious constantly.
My polyp was benign. It was quite large and would have caused problems. So now it's gone........and we continue waiting..........I wonder if one day I'll look back at all this and laugh?

Yas and ntl - sounds like you're getting the best deal! Mine cost $65, although a couple of times they've forgotten to charge me (kept quiet about that :) ) Williever - that sounds like way too much - how many are you getting at a time? Might be worth calling a couple of pharmacies for some quotes (although hopefully you won't be needing them again)
