Williever - woohoo that 8 have fertilised - that is awesome

Joeve - a big welcome to you, may your stay be short and sweet

    Kass, N2L, JBM, 1moreplz -

OMG what is going on with the world and natural disasters at the moment? Just watching the tv and looking at the pics of Christchurch. Can't believe they have had another big earthquake. We live about 300 - 400km south and felt it, noone can get through to make sure their families up there are safe cos all the power and phones are out. Its so scary. Kind of makes my 2ww stresses nothing really.

    Big congrats williever

AFM really not happy today as epu yesterday had 11 then only 8 where able to be injected and 1 has fertilised the rest dont look too great....
we are using donor sperm from Xytex so it is good quailty they come in vials and we use half each time so we have a couple that havent been used which is only frozen once and 2 that are half so have been frozen twice.
We went in after having this discussion with the FS that we where doing half/half.. When i come out from my epu they then tell me they have thawed a half vial which as it has been frozen twice can only be used for ICSI. So cranky with them they made that decision without our consent yesterday after they had already thawed the half vial they gave us the choice to use a full one but we would have to throw out the vial and go to waste plus it costs a lot of money.
On every other occasion they have used a fresh one means frozen once which i would have thought would be better quality and as ou results have come back so bad this time i am just so upset with them. As i have such bad egg quality i would have thought they would have used the full vial to get the best results, all heresay now..
Trying to be positive for the little lone one and hope it keeps progressing but my god its hard to stay positive.

my posting worked =) Im now offically day 1 of my downreg cycle!
and it all works out nicely, day 28 is our wedding anniversery =) i fell comfortable and happy that nature is still running the show and reassuring me by lining up dates. one of the things that i didnt like about ivf was us deciding when to do stuff rather than just nature.
    things are going well atm.
sorry, once again a just me thread, im back on night duty and havent had a chance to catch up on everyone. but im thinking of you all!!!

Hey everyone. Sorry I havent been around, dh and I are buying a house and I've been trying to focus all my energies on that rather than ttc.
Have got questions though... I'm curently doing a down reg cycle, on the pill and due to start sniffing my syneryl (spelling...sorry) on monday. Now they have bookwd an ultrasound on the 6th but she said for now... Now is this us meant to help them see when im ovulating? And is the date dependent on when af comes? Normally when would epu then be??? Im more worried about work, its so tight here I think ill end up having to just call in sick the mornings stuff is happening.... Because to get a requested day off you have to ask like 2 months ahead (they are currntly asking for our june requests...) So a basic timetable might help me work out how guilty ill feel taking which days off...
Ty so much girls! Even tho I dont post I am thinking of u all!

Teirae ~ hun we will be starting together i start jabbing on monday (lucrin instead of crappy synarel) so we should roughly be in 2ww together

    hi to everyone else....

AFM ~ managed to chane my appointment to today to pick up meds, as monday just meant being late to work or not going...i don't need a show n tell of how to jab, just need the meds and dosage....then start on monday

Go 1MPlz! Glad jabs are starting.

Teirae- you should get AF after you stop the pill, mine was a few days later I think. It doesn't really matter when AF comes, they give you a cycle day 1 whether you have af or not. Do you know when you start injections? its usually a week or so after AF. The u/s should be a week or so after that, to check follicle size and lining. My clinic has it all written on a piece of paper- very necessary for brainless twits like me. Good luck with the house, we bought one last year, the paperwork of that and ivf nearly drove me bonkers!

I'm going off for my scan and BT now, feeling ok about it as i can feel my ovaries are swollen but still didn't get much sleep last night so must have been secretly worried, will come back with results and more persies this arvo xxx

Oh N2L I'm sorry you got a BFN

Teirae Good luck with this cycle. It's hard to work out the EPU date. Mine was 3 weeks after I started the Synarel. I had a blood test 9 days after starting the Synarel to check that my hormones were surpressed enough and then I could start the FSH injections a day later. All the best.

Saffy good luck with the bt and scan. I too haven't been sleeping well. My brain just doesn't want to shut down. Hope it all goes well.

    Good morning ladies

n2l ~ It could still be too early though, 9DPO is pretty early and sometimes no matter what the test it wont show up. Dont give up hope just yet. for you!

1MOREPLZ ~ Good luck on the Royal Jelly, I'm taking it too. Also for Monday - all the best on the journey - hope you get a BFP at the end!

Williever ~ Goodluck for your scan tomorrow - hope there are loads of juicy follies.

Teirae ~ its been a while now since I last did a down reg cycle but what Saffy has said sounds pretty spot on. We also bought a house in the middle of Assisted cycles and TTC - so I know the stress of it all too - goodluck! Its also very exciting though!

Saff ~ thinking of you today and tight that you have loads of juicy follies!

Hi to HB, Kass, Tantee and thanks for all your support ladies. And to anyone I may have missed.
    Hope everyone is well xoxo

AFM ~ Still dont think I've O'd - still faint test lines and my temp hasn't risen at all - it's only around 36degC to 36.3 at the most. Now im getting a cold or flu
I have 4 days off work after today so I hope I dont get too bad and can enjoy it.
