And all the best for the rest of you ladies, GL to those waiting for EPU and transfers and of course those in the 2WW. Always thinking you you girls :grouphug:
Myturn and Amy, thinking of you and sending big bear hugs xoxoxox

Hi everyone
Thanks to all you ladies for your lovely support its SO appreciated at this time :grouphug:
I'm a little :boohoo: today after the day I've had my cousin has announced she's utd, Im very happy for her but also with everything I'm going through I cant help but think what cr@ppy timing to tell me today.
I put on a brave happy face and congratulated her ofcourse and wished her the best, as you do. And I sincerly meant it but in my heart I was thinking "why arent my follies growing?!" :( Shouldnt be thinking in me me and me but I cant help how I feel today. Hopefully monday is a better day..
Have a great weekend ladies :loveshower:
-
Kerbear - yay! for EPU. GL for t'fer
Mia - Keep your chin up, you are still in the game until told otherwise. They really have to look at your blood test as well - did they do one? I know my follies stopped growing altogether and my hormones levels dropped, that is why they cancelled my cycle. GL. I am sorry that you have also had news about a relative being pg - it really cuts deep :-(
Vic - Congrats on your results, great news
Hi to everyone else xx
-
Mia- it's hard when you get news like that when you are feeling down, it's not over till its over but, I am a walking example of that :-)
Thanks rhichichi we were so happy
Vic congrats on your excellent egg numbers, good luck with transfer
AFM - we got our phone call this morning about our fertilization and I am happy to say that 5 of our 6 eggs got fertilized. So happy about that now cross fingers they keep going good.
Hope you all have a good weekend :-)
-
Congrats Ker on the 5 little embies. Thats great numbers too. Any word on when transfer is? I always feel worse after transfer and hope you have time off afterwards.
Rhi - Good luck for tomorrows scan. I am praying that it all goes well
I am currently sitting in the Adelaide airport after yet another of my flights being cancelled. It now seems to be the norm for me, having flights cancelled.
Oh and I am PUPO!!!!
2 little day 2, 4 cell embies tucked in nice and tight. The embryologist said that although all fertilised 7 of them divided. So one fertilised but didn't do anything else. She dsaid that she is hoping to have 5 to freeze today and to call Monday lunch time to see how if they were suitable for freezing.
Its been a good trip DH and I are keen to get home. We DTD last night as per Miss B instructions, so we have done all we can now. I am really sore and the resident FS took ages to get it in, and it was quite painful, but was glad to have DH with me.
Must go have a flight to catch.
Love to all. I will update the list tomorrow, unless someone wants to do it for me :)
-
Congrats Vic on being pupo so happy for you, wish we could put 2 in but our FS will only do 1 to start with.
They are planning a 5day transfer which will be Wednesday unless they need to do an earlier transfer.
Have a safe flight Vic xo
-
Hooray Vic on being PUPO! My ET this time was pretty painful too. And go the 2 day embies! My BFPs have both been from 2 dayers.
Janie xxx
-
Vic, congrats hun on being PUPO! Good girl for DTD last night, they say you can also DTD the night of the transfer, but I didn't as I didn't know about that! FX for you now hunni :crossfingers:
Kerbear, fantastic news hun :)
Mia
Keep strong ladies and wishing you all the luck in the world as always xoxo
-
Hi Girls,
Vic- So glad to hear that you have two little embies on board and things are going well. Hoping the TWW is fast and painless!
Kerbear- Well done on the fertilisation! You must be thrilled! Fingers crossed they kick on perfectly for you. xx
Mia- I hope this evening finds you feeling a little brighter. I know that awful feeling of having to congratulate someone when you are going through something awful. I know I feel like so many people have jumped ahead of me in the queue and it's just not fair. Hang in there, Babe.
AFM: FET is scheduled for Monday and my FS usually does it early in the morning so DH is taking the day off and we will go and have breakfast and then see a movie so it should be a nice day. I'm working all weekend but I think that might be a good thing as it limits how much time I can spend thinking about it. Last TWW I really turned obsessing into an art form so I'm doing everything I can to keep myself calm and focused this time. We'll see how that goes...
HI to everyone else!
M.x
-
Goodluck for Monday meg I will be thinking of you :-)
-
Thanks, Kerbear! Right back atcha for Wednesday, Darling. xx

-
Oh, Ker so sorry to hear that. We will all be praying that things go well tomorrow. They can still be ok at day 3 and there are a few girls on here who got the call to come in earlier than day 5 and got their BFP's. We are all here if you need us

Sorry kerbear!!! I do hope it's a nice surprise when you get there tomorrow xxx
-
Kerbear, chin up honey and in times like these, try to remember that it only takes one embie and the absolute best place for the little one/s is to be inside the uterus. GL for tomorrow hunni :crossfingers:
-
Kerbear - BIG  I'll be thinking about you tomorrow, seems like we have definitive days at the same time. I have my u/sound tomorrow which will determine cancelled cycle or not. Lets be positive and :crossfingers: all will go well for us both! xox
-
Thanks everyone, you are right it only takes one, just hope there is still a good one tomorrow. It gives me more hope to see how many of you have had early transfers and have been lucky with bfp's, I was just hoping to have some to freeze as DH is dead against me going through these drugs again and I know it is going to take some convincing in a couple of months for him to let us go through it again, i figured if I had some on ice then we didn't need to cross that bridge yet. I am being positive though and trying not to think about it, I am going to have a few days off work and give it a good chance as I don't have meetings till the end of the week.
Good Luck Mia with your scan tomorrow I hope it is all good and you can continue your cycle.
Hope everyone is doing ok I have so lost track of everyone as I have been a bit self absorbed  but I have been reading everyone's posts.
Hope jabbing, sniffing, waiting, embies and all other things are going well for eveyone.

hi everyone.
been seretec testing since yesterday, getting ready for a FET this week (hopefully). just wondering - have you had any issue with seretec tests? i have tested positive on sat & sun, and had BT's both days but results do not show a surge. they usually work for me, not sure if anyone has had this happen? i am scheduled for yet another BT tomoz, with a scan on tues as well.
goodluck to everyone with their scans & appts this week. :)
-
Hi All,
Kerbear... what can I say. I am so sorry but I'm crossing everything that you will have a beautiful day 3 embie to transfer and at least another one to freeze.
Vic- Thank you for your wishes for tomorrow.
AFM- I have to say I'm dreading it all a bit. Not the transfer, but what comes after it. Like DH said tonight when I said I wasn't feeling confident, "Well, that's understandable. If you'd played six games of football and lost all of them, you'd most likely turn up to your seventh expecting to lose again." Ummm, ok...?! Bless him. I guess that's what I get for marrying a jock! Oh and in a bit of karma, after I complained this morning of feeling a bit feverish and unwell (progesterone makes me crampy and nauseated and the prednisone makes me agitated) and saying I didn't want to go to work, DH offered, "At least it wil be air conditioned at work." WTF! When I got home tonight, guess who's camped on the couch with the bucket and a cold washer!? I must say I have struggled to muster much sympathy. And DTD is off the agenda too. Oh well.
M.x
-
Hi Andie,
I find those things a bit hit and miss. Try testing am and pm but as long as you are having blood tests don't worry too much. If they have a baseline they will be able to detect when you surge. I prefer it that way myself- much more scientific.

-
Meg sorry you are feeling so yuk from it all. Men and their way of thinking is so different to ours and sometimes not sympathetic lol.
Just wondering something, everyone talks about dtd before transfer, my clinic suggested it after but didn't mention before, does anyone have any advice, I am scared I will do something to jeopardize it.
-
Kerbear and Mia wishing you both the best of luck tomorrow!
Fingers crossed for lots of eggs and accelerated fertilization overnight;)
To everyone else hope your hanging in there and that this week sees a few more dreams come true
X
-
thanks meg. i prefer the BT's too, at least you know for sure. although i am running out of arms to alternate with...! i know its not funny as such, but i did have a little smile re: your dh's football analogy - at least they try, and he is kind of right! goodluck for your transfer today, sounds like you have a relaxing day lined up afterwards.
kerbear - i think dtd before transfer is one of those 'is day 2 better than day 5 transfer' questions - everyone (and every FS) has a different opinion. i think if you are coming off a stim cycle they advise against, just in case you are still a bit sore post epu, or if ovaries are still a bit swollen there is a slight risk of rupture. but if its a FET i think thats where opinions differ, some say helps implantation but i dont think theres any research to prove that. and of course, there is the risk of multiples if you happen to get pregnant the natural way, as well as your transferred embryo taking. im glad you asked that question though, bc i was thinking of trying naturally before my FET this week too, but wasnt sure... would love to hear if anyone else has any more info. goodluck with whatever you decide!
morning to everyone else.
-
Hey girls :) good luck to you all!!
Kerbear re DTD --- if you are doing a stim cycle then your DH has to provide a sample on the day of transfer and isn't allowed to between trigger & EPU but after EPU is fine!!! Tbh though. I have never felt up to it! I'm too sore and sorry for myself after EPU. But. If you can then. Maybe it's worth a shot!!!
Good luck Today my sweet!! xxx
-
Thanks ttl
Myturn and Andie thanks for answering my question I don't really feel up to it cause of the Crinone making me sore but maybe I should suck it up and try, anything is worth a shot to help it along.
Well today's the day will see how my embies went overnight.
-
Hey andie - DH and I were discussing whether we would during this FET - mostly re the twins issue - I think I'd like to (to give us the best chance!!) although DH was a bit dubious I think!! I thought I read somewhere you weren't supposed to because of the risk. But a lot of people do.
Jerbear. I have never felt comfortable DTD with crinone - just feels weird! Unwanted to afte last EPU but DH was tired and really I was still bloated and sore so.... I wouldn't worry either way though. The nurse said to me if it's gunna stick it will regardless of what you do!! Just try to enjoy yourself. xxx

:hello: Ladies
Had to jump :leap: on and let you ladies know re my u/sound results today and.......
:loveshower: 1 follie is ready to go and I had 2 on the cusp and 2 more also almost there so EC is scheduled for Friday YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I honestly thought it would be cancelled but DH and I are SUPER happy its now going ahead and we have a few more then we thought to begin with.
I have two more puregon shots to give myself so that should give the stragglers enough to grow to "ideal" size by friday.
:crossfingers: for Friday!!!!
-
Mia - that is fantastic news. It's amazing how they can catch up. My lonely one follicle did the same last cycle. It was a long cycle but got there in the end. All the best for Friday my sweet.
Kerbear - sorry your envies aren't doing as well as hoped. I have my fingers crossed you get a string and sticky one to transfer. Thinking of you.
Vic - congrats on being pupo. Sorry it wast a smooth ride, hopefully it has all been very worth it.
Hi to everyone else and welcome newbies since my last visit. I have been MIA, I will catch up OCR the next few days.
Afm - after my bfn we headed down south for some much needed pampering (me) and fishing fit DH (definitely not me). Massages, chocolate factory and wine tasting definitely have me feeling refreshed! I have started puregon again. Hoping that things will be a bit quicker this time and Dh will be home for the action end of things.
Thinking of all those in the tww, bring on the bfp's!
-
Thanks Keta  everyone here has helped me keep semi sane throughout the weekend waiting for these results today.
Seems like they just needed a little more time.
Thats fab that you had a pamper after your last cycle, its much deserved ;) Welcome to the puregon club! LOL
-
Mia so glad to hear its all going ahead for you :-)
Keta I will be doing the same if things don't work out for us this month, I am going to spoil myself and DH, it might help make me feel better lol.
Hope it helped you relax and have a chance to process your bfn.
Myturn - not sure why but all the meds seem to play havoc and make me uncomfortable and achy but I am getting used to it now.
Transfer is at 12.30pm
-
Kerbear - :goodluck: for todays transfer hun, thinking of you
-
Ker - Am stalking you. I hope it all went well xx
You too meg xxx
Mia - Thats great news about your follies. Bring on Friday!!!
Keta - Glad you have had a rest and are back on the bandwagon. I find its the best way to get over a BFN is to jump into another cycle to concentrate on.
Re the DTD we did it before transfer. I was in agony from the EPU the day before but we took our time and I really wanted to do it as I had heard it was good to do. So we did it the night before, but not the day of transfer.
AFM - I am just chilling at home. DH left for work this morning, and I got a bit emotional. Our investment property settled today so thats another thing ticked off our list. We think our luck is changing and we are hoping that this one is the one.
Doh, I forgot to mention that we have 5 day 2 frosties. YIPPEE!!!!

Hi Girls,
I'm officially PUPO! The transfer was uneventful. Our little blast had thawed beautifully with all cells remaining intact and had just begun to hatch. Things didn't go according to plan with the rest of the day, however with poor old DH up all night with terrible gastro! He slept in the other room and tried to let me sleep but I ended up getting up at five to wash all the bedding and clean the bathroom. We weren't sure if he'd even be able to come to the transfer but he rallied and was there. Needless to say, breakfast was off the agenda! So we've had a quiet day at home, which is fine and I'll start the Clexane injections tonight.
Hoping that all went well for Kerbear and hanging out for some good news!
Hi to all!
M.x
-
Oh, and...
Mia: Great news, Honey! So pleased you're going ahead!
Vic: I feel for you, Sweetheart. Last time around DH left for the states the day after transfer and I was alone for the entire TWW and it was awful. This time I made him reschedule another trip so he will be here when AF is due. It's so hard to do it alone. Hope you're feeling better tomorrow. xx
Keta: Glad to see you back!

Meg yay you are PUPO, we both get to join the tww on the same day.
I am also PUPO, we have a day 3, 8cell embie on board, we wanted to do 2 but FS was quite against it as its our first one. We will find out if our other 2 make it to thur for freezing, one is an 8 cell and the other is a six, we lost the other 3 after fertilization.
DH was so cute on the way home I said I was hungry and told him what I wanted and he said well I guess you are pregnant so you can have what you want, I said well I am not really and he said I am till it says otherwise lol. I must say it is cute to have him treat me like I am it shows he is just as invested as me :-)
Thanks Vic and missb for stalking it is so lovely of you to care about us as much as we do about you.
Well I am off to TWW but will stalk you all everyday ;-)
