Sorry I have been pretty absent over the past few weeks, other than the occasional post! Not much happening here. I don't even know if I ovulated this month. I think I did. I was doing opks and they were nearly positive but then I ran out and didn't get anymore! I am cd 32 today so if I did ovulate, AF should be here in the next day. Yesterday morning I had some blood when wiping but it was only once. No other AF symptoms yet. So, of course, all this makes me think I didn't ovulate at all! That will teach me for not going out to buy more opks :lol:
Anyhoo, in the meantime I am trying to lose weight. I have lost about 1.5kg. At least 8.5kg to go :rolleyes:
I really hope we can keep the BFPs coming!
I don't think I have ever seen this thread so busy so, statistically speaking, we should have a few BFPs.
I hope everyone is well. Even if I am not posting, I am definitely stalking and thinking of you all.

myturn - FET's are soooo much easier than stim cycles. I find its not as quick, but only by a couple of days. Plus, there is no recovery. And for me heaps cheaper. I fly over for the day, do the transfer and then fly back home. Simple! Good luck for Monday.
Keta - Good luck for your US & BT on Monday too.

Hi girls I really need your help.
So yesterday my bt showed hormones were starting to surge and they want me back in for bt and scan on Monday. Today I'm very bloated and have LOTS of ewcm. Could I be ovulating before they predicted and do you think I should make the trip to dh so we can dtd even though I don't know how many follies. I don't want to miss the opportunity but also don't want 4 babies (though what's the chance of that?).

Keta- I am not gonna be much help with your question but if you feel like you are going to miss it cause its earlier than the doctors expect I would take the risk and go see DH to dtd.

I have a question if I am normally a 28 day cycle normally does that mean I would still be due for AF in 3 days. Not sure how it works as my EPU was pushed out and I had my 3 day transfer last Monday.
vic - our FS said that out of the 6 frozen day 2 embryos, we are likely to get 1, maybe 2, blasties. we have been told the best one will be transferred after thawing 3 at a time, and any others frozen if they are of good quality (but this is unlikely). i havent grown them out before, so im interested to see how they hold up... i have been told that someone will call me tues and let me know how they are going, but not sure i can hold out that long... might have to give them a little call tomorrow! hopefully you wont need to worry about a FET for some time anyway. :)
mia - i really hope you are right!
kerbear - not sure about your due date for af, but usually mine comes a couple of days early after a stim cycle. fingers crossed it doesnt come for 9 months.:crossfingers:

Kerbear, your luteal phase is usually about the same. So, just add the number of days your luteal phase is to ovulation day (being egg pickup day).

Hi girls, I'm back after a bfn, af arrived Saturday and I just spoke to my FS, who has kindly let me do another stim straight away.
He wants to try a down reg cycle as I have never done one , except for my 1st ever ivf cycle which was cancelled, but I was only on a 225 puregon or something, needed a higher dose. So I will be sniffing again!!! He also said I can transfer 2 embies if I get them- woohoo, he doesn't normally let people do that, so I must be a hard case lol!
I'm thinking this is my last stim cycle, it will be my 5th and I can't keep going. My next option is to look into donor eggs.

Afm - looks like my cycle will be cancelled as I have been a bit if an over achiever. I have too many follies (3) which I can't believe seeing as last cycle I struggled to get one. As the nurse said she can't tell us what to behind closed doors but I don't know what choice to make. It is a risk of ending up with lots of babies but really what's the chance! Decisions!
Keta - Hunni I would go for it, if they are going to cancel your cycle.
Saffy - I am so glad they are letting you go ahead with another stim cycle. And that they are letting you put two back in. I would have thought that with being your age it would be pretty much mandatory.

Just an update, I know this news will cut deep for alot of you & I am sorry if it seems insensitive but I really want to say thank-you to everyone in this thread for all their support for me. I posted in the tww thread that we had a succesful cycle & are officially pg at 4 weeks 2 days. I could not have gone through the IVF journey without all of you & I am sad to be leaving without everyone. I hope that you all have some very positive news very soon & I hope that you can join me in a belly buddies thread. Again, I hope my post is not too insensitive. I wish you all the very best & will be stalking from a distance. xx

AFM Had a 2d embryo transferred today......guess I am PUPO :)
Scan = good - 1 follie at 13 do she thinks it will be ready to pop later this week. I have to do the ovulation kits every day now and will see how they go - but back to nurse on Thursday am for review to see what happens.
This really is much nicer in the body than a stim cycle!!!

AFM - I had my US & BT today, looks like everything was working properly as I will be going in for EPU on Thursday. YAY!! I also had my intralipid today, I think I was more nervous about that than the results of my scan & bt:) I worry about the silliest of things sometimes!

AFM - Just waiting happily to be reunited with my embie. I rang the FC today and got an update, all embies doing well and growing the way they're meant to YAY
:crossfingers: all will be as painless as possible on Wednesday and then I'll have 2 days of rest and then I have to go house and "baby" sit all the furry babies at my parents place.
I have an excitable german shephard pup (she's 6 months and BIG) who loves jumping so thats going to be interesting, will have to try pushing her away cos she's SO playful but doesnt realise her
strength.
Only thing I can say I started the Crinine Gel on Sunday and it makes me nauseous, I know that the progesterone makes has many of the pregnancy "symptoms" but atleast I know IF I feel any others which are different after Wednesday I "may" have a sticky embie. We'll see I suppose!
keta - tough choice, but i dont think i would be able to help myself and would try naturally.
rhichichi - im new, but wanted to say congrats. i like to hear about successes in this thread, gives me inspiration to keep trying. goodluck. :)

Hey Vic,
I thawed 3 x day 3 embies with the aim of getting one day 5 blastie. I ended up with 2 x day 5 blasts - one was transferred, which resulted in my bfp and the other was refrozen. It's an expensive way to work out which of your embies are most likely to succeed - but I have no regrets.

Mia - Yes, one embie transferred (my FS will only t'fer one at a time), day 5 blastie. Had soreish bbies then they disappeared and have had on & off cramping (like AF is coming). I have also been very tired in the afternoon, particularly if I am not doing much ie; reading or watching t.v., I also have a sensitive forehead - very strange but when I am in the shower if the water is on my forehead it hurts a little bit. My stomach is also a little bloated, tender to touch, hardish. TMI coming - cervix is low and closed (found that out when I had some uncomfortableness down there from the build up of the progesterone pessaries. I have also had pulling around my lower tummy when I move too quickly or roll over in bed. I did POAS on Thursday last week (which would have been about 7 days past transfer or 12 days past egg collecton) and had a second line, although feint. Best of luck to you hun.

I dont want to drink too much water cos I know I'll burst but they said I have to have 600ml bottle of water in prep within 1 hour prior to the procedure. How do you ladies do it! Did they make you lie there for long or was it quick and you got to go home straight away? sorry re the q's like to be prepared

Thanks everyone for thinking of me. After much debate I have been given permission to continue puregon and have another scan and bt Wednesday. My hormones were quite low given I have three follicles so it's wait and try to figure out what is happening. Personally I really felt like I o'd on the weekend but who knows! It is my birthday today so going to do my jab and the forget ttc for the day (yeah like that will happen haha). Hope everyone is going ok.
